I was so busy chatting and keeping up with the amazing super heroes here that I didn't have a desire to test early! >:D< I had zero symptoms up until 7dp5dt and just a strong feeling it didn't work. At 7dp5dt I got veins on my chest and boobs acne and cramps. It could all be the PIO, it just put in a seed of doubt which I guess is actually hope. We will see today. I really really really want a BFP today with a nice high beta. Only time will tell!
I'm up heading to my ER. Surprisingly, I slept like a baby last night despite the fact that i have this achey heavy feeling jn my lower back and abdomen! I can't say I'm excited because it takes a lot for me to be excited. I'm the type that if I won a half a million I would be like "awesome" and that is my entire celebration. Lol....but I am nervous and anxious to see the outcome of this day. Will update you all as soon as possible.

Good luck girls! Praying for good news! I stupidly tried to take a pregnancy test today but the test was defective. I guess it must be a sign that I'm not supposed to test early? The next few days are going to drag by. I still don't feel pregnant so it is getting more and more difficult to stay positive, but I'm trying my best. Hopefully you girls will get some good news today and that will cheer me up!:)

@runmeg91 After I found out I only had 1 blast to freeze, I emailed my nurse with the same concerns you have. Mainly, is there a correlation between my eggs in general and the ones that didn't make it to blast and freeze. The nurse asked my doctor and here's what he said: "Only 50% of people in general get anything frozen from a given cycle. The most common number of embryos is 1-3. She did well. There are no studies looking at the embryos that did not make it." Not a ton of feedback was provided but it did make me feel a little better. Hopefully it helps you too.
@joyzie77 I actually enjoyed that my ET was in the afternoon. I got a long walk in, big brunch, got my couch all ready and Netflix & snacks ready to go.... so I say enjoy because you will be in bed for the rest of the weekend Or if you have any laundry/dishes/errands to do now is the time!

yeah i need to plan something to keep me busy - I was planning to visit my parents/family this weekend but i dont think i'm in the mood to deal with the questions "when will you have a baby" from my other family members that doesnt know my problem.
Also, my cousin had a baby a month ago and now sure if i can handle it .
I also wonder if it is possible to just have a 'bad batch'. In my case, I had 17 make it to freezing which is bizarre in the other extreme... even my RE said so. So although hopefully today is good news, if not, then that means the first THREE chosen, which all LOOK perfect, are bad.... those odds just don't make sense. RE is sure that my IVF BFN had to do with the quality of the blast and not ME, and with a frozen transfer, my body is even MORE ready than it was last time. So I will be baffled if I get another negative. I know it can just happen and has no reflection on me, the blasts, or the doctor, but still..... 3 in a row is not good.... I am debating a second opinion/fresh start if this fails, BUT my lil precious snowflakes cannot be transferred and therefore I would have to start all over. Which is a lot more money and a lot more time, and the other clinic here in Chicago is not as convenient to get to (although their success rates do appear to be better). So I don't know if I should stick with this RE (who is a riot and I really like him), or get a new perspective. My initial thought is to stay with this RE and hear him out, probably do PGD testing, and give it one more go.... hmmm the 'what ifs' really mess with you......totally just thinking out loud here (and distracting myself!), but I would love your thoughts! Although duh this is a moot point because we are all getting BFPs this month.
@lizg19 I think it is a perfect weekend to cuddle up in pajamas and start a new Netflix series! I recommend SCANDEL if you haven't seen it.... I'm into the second season and it is well done! I also just finished BLOODLINE which is a little slow to start but also worthwhile.
@joyzie77 hahahah sounds like a good plan and I am glad to give you a chuckle! I am a redhead so like it when we are represented. My husband and I joke that the universe is trying to eliminate the ginger gene so that's why we have to try so hard to keep it around! He is very blonde/blue eyed so we joke that we are just too recessive to procreate... at least we can laugh about it.
Thank you @LCK0830 for sharing that info with me! That definitely makes me feel much better. I'm so fortunate that I have you girls to talk to and lift my spirits. For some reason other friends and family members just aren't quite the same, they just don't fully understand. But you girls do and that's what makes this group so special!
It's so nerve racking that a perfect looking blast can still have chromosomal abnormalities. I've been trying to find stats on that happening to calm my nerves. For my age (just turned 33) I've read that about 30% of embryos are chromosomally abnormal but not sure the percentage of blasts unless they're grouping them all together.
@mclorn You won't need to worry about any of this since you're getting your BFP today but in the unlikely event you do, I'd think about doing PGD testing. That's what I'm leaning towards if I get a negative.
I'm out of my ER and they only got 6....the smallers ones didnt have any eggs in them. But that is still a way better number than I should've gotten based on my DOR. The plan has changed, we can't move ahead with a transfer because it seems i developed some fibroids and my doctor wants to address those beforehand to give me a better chance at a successful transfer. Not what i expected going in...but we gotta do what is going to be best!

@ShayLatrice I am so glad they got a solid 6 for you and even more happy that your are in great hands and your RE is taking conservative steps for the best success for you! So sorry for the delay though, that is heartbreaking and so emotional to say the least... it's like there is always one more hiccup, set back, etc in this journey.... Congrats on the 6 collected @ShayLatrice ! I'm sorry you have to push things off a bit. That's disappointing but I'm so glad your REs are on top of things. Sounds like you have a great team of professionals around you. Now it's time to rest and get pampered for the weekend!
It does seem high! I thought they'd die off by the time they reached the blast phase but apparently not. For me, when I read stats like that, I need to force myself to read it in a positive light. So even though 30% may be abnormal, that means 70% will not have defects.
I should note that I took a genetic test (simple blood test) prior to IVF that found that my DH and I aren't carriers for anything. I have CF in my family so I was worried about that. Not really sure if that changes anything?
@ShayLatrice congrats on the 6 eggs! Sound great! Your re takes good care and wants a positive transfer outcome so giving you more time might be not great for you right now but it will be for the future! Get all healthy and ready for transfer and all will be good! Have a good and relaxing weekend with lots of rest
@LCK0830 yes, when you spin it that way, 70% is pretty good . I think your previous genetic testing definitely helps. In retrospect I wish we did that just to have peace, but neither of us have a family history of anything so didn't see the need.... PGD/PGS is obviously even better because it tests not you but the actual embryos, so that would be our next step.
