We welcomed Adalynn and Colton on 9/25/15 at 11:07 and 11:09 pm. They are both perfect and healthy and we are so excited! Incredibly blessed considering they weren't due until 10/29/15.

Original due date: October 8th Born sept 26 at 8:05 am Our little guys was ready to come early born at 38 weeks weighing 6lbs 12.6 oz and 19 inches long he is strong healthy and happy! So glad to be able to hold my little one safe and sound. ❤️
Edward Joseph EDD - 10/20 Born - 9/23 (36w1d) 7lb 13oz, 20.25 inches
I went to my 36 week appointment on 9/22. I had been having prodromal labor for about a week and the NST showed contractions every minute. Doctor checked me and I was 3 cm dilated. We figured baby would come a little early, but neither of us thought it would be that night. I walked around with prodromal labor with my last one for six weeks before she was born.
I woke up at 1:15 AM that night thinking I needed to use the bathroom. I stood up and realized my water had broken. My husband was on his way home from work and we had to find someone to take my 1 and 2 year olds for the night. My 11 year old was at a friend's house that night. After we got someone to take the little ones, we headed to the hospital.
Labor slowed and wouldn't pick back up, so eventually we started pitocin. Baby's head was in an odd position and wouldn't move down. The nurse had me try some different positions and one of them finally worked. He was then born with two pushes, and a lot of bruising from moving down the birth canal so quickly. He was born at 10:33 PM, so about 21 hours of labor.
Doctors were impressed with his good size at almost four weeks early, but he did need a little oxygen and is having trouble latching. He also has jaundice and is on a billiruben blanket at home. If he doesn't pass the blood test tomorrow, he has to go back to the hospital for a couple days. Ironically, my fourth labor was more than twice as long as any of my previous three labors. He was well worth it though.
Matthew Christopher was born on 9/24 via repeat c-section, at 38 weeks 1 day. 7 lbs even and 19" long. He is wonderful! Eating and sleeping like a champ. The funny thing is that I was nervous about the surgery and hospital stay, but I seem to have been flooded by happy hormones or something. I can't stop smiling. Good luck to everyone still waiting for their own big day!
Little Japser Wayne was due on October 2nd but made a slightly early arrival on September 27th, the day of the Super Moon! Water broke with an audible popping sound on Saturday night around 11pm while I was in bed. My contractions started about thirty minutes later and I was already at 5cm when I got to the hospitals five hours later. Did an entirely unmedicated 16 hours of labor with 4 hours of pushing to meet this little guy. 7lb13oz and 20.75 inches long. Absolutely perfect! Can't wait for all of you to experience this love!
Isaiah James arrived at 5:16 pm on September 26th, 6 days before his due date. My water broke at 1:30 that morning and after hours of inconsistent contractions, he finally made his way out. Thankful we were able to have an unmedicated labor and delivery as planned. He was 7 lbs, 10 oz and is doing great. His siblings are loving their new baby brother!
My due date was 12th of October but my little princess decided to come on the 25th Sep at 37 weeks and 3 days via emergency c section! She's perfect couldn't be more in love
We welcomed Gavin John on 9/28 at 3:58 pm, weighing in at 8 lbs, 3 oz and measuring 20" long. I was induced at 39 weeks due to high amniotic fluid. They started very "light pitocin" at 1:30, epidural at 2:00, broke my water at 2:30 and I was fully dilated by 3:30. I pushed 5 or so times and he was out. Feeling blessed!
Went in for my 38 week appointment and the doctor thought my fluid looked low and sent me to L&d to verify. They agreed and we started by stripping my membranes and broke my water and started some pitocin. Got the epidural and then baby's heart rate dropped. Drs rushed in and added some fluid back into the uterus for her. At 5am on the 26th I was 10 cm and ready to go! I only pushed for 30 minutes and no tears!! When baby girl came out she was an awful purple gray color and not breathing. Our birth plan went out the window. Her cord was cut and we didn't get skin to skin. My poor husband and I just kept looking at each other and crying. They called a code and at least 20 people came in to work on her. They worked her for 7 minutes before she cried and then 20 minutes to keep her breathing before taking her to the NICU. She swallowed a bunch of amniotic fluid and had to get her airways cleared. I finally got to be with her around 11am and try skin to skin and breast feeding. She was released from the NICU the same night but had a high bilirubin level and had to be under the light for 12 hours. She's finally all better and we came home Monday afternoon! She's got a set of lungs on her now and I don't even mind her crying. It was by far the scariest day of my entire life but I love this little girl so much it's unreal!
We officially have joined team pink! Miss Alyda Annabelle was due October 1st but arrived Sept 27 after 14 hours of labour. Only the last hour was at the hospital and it all happened so quick she was pretty shocked and didn't initiate her own respirations at first. We had planned for a tub birth but I didn't even make it to the tub in time! We are so happy to have done most of it at home and I just can't believe I have a daughter and my son has a little sister. We are over the moon. 20 inches and 7lbs 7oz
Conrad & Hudson were born 09/28 @ 8:15 & 8:17, respectively, at 35w6d. I had cramps overnight & lost my mucus plug around 4AM. I went to the hospital & was told I was not dilated, had not lost fluid & was sent home by 6AM. I was lying in bed when my water broke around 6:30AM. I was bleeding heavily when I got to the hospital & they worried about an abruption so I was taken for a c section right away. Both babies are in NICU but doing well overall. I am so sad to be going home without them, as they will stay another week or so, but know they are exactly where they need to be. Best wishes to all of you for a happy, healthy, & beautiful delivery.

Adeline Sharon was born 9/28 at 2:19 am. She wasn't due until the 14th; the super moon must have hurried things up! She's 9lbs 1oz and 19 3/4 in long and absolutely beautiful.
Miss Audrey grace was born last night via csection at 36 weeks weighing 9 lb 5.8 oz due to GD and GH.shes in the nicu for now...fingers crossed she can join us soon!!
Little Andrea Nicole was born at 6:39 am on 9/28. She is 5lbs 9 ozs, 18 1/2in. She was due Oct 14th! I had about 20 hours of labor and my water didn't break until I was fully dilated and she was already starting to drop very low (they thought they were going to have to break my water). I got an epidural at 5cm shorty after I arrived. It kicked in within 20 minutes and I actually got to sleep a little but while I was dilating. She was born within 10 minutes. Even though she was tiny for how far along I was everything was perfect.
Danielle Hanan was due today and is punctual like her mom! Contractions started on 9/30 in the morning hours. Went to the hospital in the evening when they got close together but was sent home as I was only one cm. Told to see my OB in the morning. After 4 hours I couldn't take it anymore and went back to find out I was fully dilated! There was no time for an epidural and after about an hour of pushing and a small snip she was out at 1:41am today! Scored a 9 in the Apgar test and is just so sweet and happy! We are very blessed. My butt hurts though....
I just realized i didn't post my birth announcement.
Elias Cesar was born on Sept 23 at 1:52 pm.
I woke up extra early that morning feeling like i was cramping. I went back to sleep for an hour and then had to wake up to get my big kid to school. When i got home i tried to sleep some more, but noticed that the cramps were coming at regular intervals. I downloaded an app to track them and sure enough i was having contractions every 5 minutes and they were lasting about 1.5 minutes.
I texted my midwife that i thought this was the real deal and i was going to call her after i took a shower. I also woke my SO and told him it was time to call his work and let them know he wouldn't be in. My sister came to get my two youngest and we cleaned up while the midwives headed over.
I tried to stay upright. It felt good to have my lower back rubbed during contractions, so my SO did that. My midwives arrived around noon and got their supplies set up. I spent the next 45 walking back and forth from my room to the kitchen. I was so hungry and tired but knew i wouldn't eat so i just sipped my gatorade. I had my exercise ball on my bed and leaned over that for a while. Then i decided to shower again because the contractions were more intense but i wasn't having my usual signs that real progress was happening. I was in the shower for about 20 minutes and it felt like my contractions got weaker. I was a little nervous that i was stalling, so i got out. I kept saying how tired i was (thanks to my 2am bedtime and how to get away with murder marathon, worth it!), so my midwife suggested i lay on my side and try to rest between contractions. It felt great, but i had tons of pressure and was still weary of what was happening. I decided to let her check me to see what was going on, but told her to lie if i wasn't far along. Well, she got very excited. I was totally dilated, and the pressure was my amniotic sac bulging and he was +1 station. I had a few more contractions and then my water broke and i felt immense relief. I didn't have any more contractions for a few minutes and it was great to get that break. My midwife assured me that was normal and told me i could change positions if i felt like it.
I suddenly felt a huge contraction and realized it was time to push, ready or not. I had them put my exercise ball against the wall at the head of my bed and leaned into that so that i was upright. My SO took my hand and i remember saying "i can do this" like ten times. Each contraction made me bear down hard. I was hoping to control my pushing a little but there was none of that. He was in a great position and i just wanted him out. I got his head out and my contractions stalled again. I was so ready for it to be over. I kept thinking, this is my last kid if i get him out i never have to do this again. Lol. My midwives told me to roll to my side again to help him rotate his shoulder and when i did she pulled down a bit on his shoulder and i pushed one more time and he was out! It's amazing how intense it is and then suddenly it's all forgotten and i was just so happy to be holding my little guy.
Elias was 10 lbs even, and 22 inches long. He didn't cry right away but was super alert and covered in vernix. It was an amazing experience. My midwife had attended two other births with me and knew exactly what i needed from her (and my SO's limitations during labor) and her assistant was a student midwife whose son was turning 4 that very same day. I could not have asked for a better experience for my last baby. And it was the first day of Fall!
Scheduled C-Section today and Harrison Keith (we were team green - had majority guesses of girl!) joined our family at 849 this morning. 7 lbs 8oz and 20 inches long. He is doing great - latching well and getting some nice naps. I'm doing well, nausea finally subsided, and am trying to push the fluids! Good luck all!
Audrey Leann was born 9/29 at 7:43am. 7lb 4oz 21" long.
I started noticing contractions shortly after midnight. We were admitted around 5:30 am when I was 6cm dilated. My contractions picked up quickly and they broke my water around 6:15am when I was 7 cm dilated.
After, I quickly progressed to 10cm by 7am and started pushing. 43 minutes later, Audrey joined the world. The umbilical cord was around her neck twice but luckily didn't cause any distress. After I pushed her head and shoulders out the midwife asked if I wanted to pull her out so I reached down and brought my baby girl out. It was amazing!
I ended up with some level 2 tearing and some stitches but overall it was a great birthing experience. I am happy I was able to follow my plan to go med free.
Just wanted everyone to meet my big ole 9.6lb 20.5in baby boy, Shain Michael. born Oct 1st at 826a. This big guy is the reason I had my scheduled c-section!
Baby Tyler Kristian was born 9/24 @5:55pm weighing in at 7lbs12oz and 19 5/8 inches long. After over a day of labor and being stalled out at 5cm dialated close to 10 hours I didn't give up and went on to have a successful VBA2C! He is just perfect and I am so in love. My bottom still hurts and the episiotomy stiches sting like a mother but I would do it all over in a heart beat.
Piper Eliza Marigold arrived on Oct 1 at 1:53 am at exactly 38 weeks (same gestation as her big sister). I was induced due to cholestasis, and the first 5 hours not much happened...I was having contractions but nothing crazy...until 12:30am when they broke my water. After that things got very intense, and I was never so thankful for the amazing support of my husband and my.midwife. I pushed for only 10 minutes and Piper was born. I was able to go med free which was what I was hoping for. We are so in love with her and adjusting to being a family of four.
Warren Joseph was born October 2nd after 19 hours of labor. Despite close, heavy contraction I needed pitocin to help my cervix open. He is perfect and we are over the moon!!
We welcomed Mayven on her due date 10/1 at 10:14pm. Weighing in at 7.13 and 20in long! I had an amazing experience with my first natural birth (3rd baby, she has 2 very excited big brothers ) got in my room around 920 at a 6 and she was out at 10:14! I'm just so in love with our little princess! Btw for those who's goal is natural birth, it's THE most crazy thing I have ever done but also the coolest and most interesting (yes very painful, sorry) thing! I was very lucky in everything happening so quick, but don't give up! But also don't worry if you give in, just try again next time I got further and further with each birth! This pregnancy At 17 weeks I ran a marathon and now natural birth, I KNOW I can do anything and so can you! Congrats to everyone and good luck to those who are patiently waiting
We officially joined Team Blue!!! Greyson Robert was born 9/28 at 37w 2d weighing 6lb 11oz and perfectly healthy! Soaking up every second with my beautiful baby boy!
Lewis Youngblood arrived healthy and happy on 9/27 at 7 lbs 4oz. I was induced 2weeks early due to cholestasis (cytotec, pitocin, epidural, 3 hrs pushing) and had my son (was team green!) at 2:37am! It was a wild ride and I am grateful for every minute of it. Was also incredible to share the experience with my husband. Blessed!
You are one of our biggest & most amazing adventures! You, little one, are so loved... With joy our family introduces...
Went in at 6am and had to start pitocin to help dilate. Got stuck at a 4 until 1:30pm when I went from 4 to 10 in less than 10 minutes. Needless to say that caused the epidural I had placed ineffective and labor was a bit of a struggle. However baby boy is completely healthy and amazingly characteristic already. His big brother, mom, and dad absolutely fell in love at first site of this wonderful new addition.
Nicho was born this morning at 3:35 am weight 7pds10 oz.
I was scheduled for induction on Friday 10/2 at 40+1 due to hypertension. I was bumped 5 times before I was finally admitted on Friday. At 4pm they started cyclotex (miso is what they call it too) to thin out the cervix because I was only 60% effaced despite being told by my Dr last week that I was 80%, and was 1.5 cm dilated. I did a round of that at 4pm. Then got a break to eat and got another dose at 8:30 pm. I was due for dose 3 at 12:30am but since they were short on nurses, they didn't give it to me until 4am when more ppl had delivered and been moved to the postpartum wing. At 8:30 am on Saturday I was given my 4th and last dose of that. They checked my cervix to see if progress had been made and I was 80% effaced and 3cm dilated. They inserted the cervadil at 4:45 pm but before they did I started to have intense contractions after they checked my cervix. I was in the worst pain of my life and my dreams of a natural birth were disappearing. I took the contractions for several hours before I decided to talk pain options with the Dr. I opted to get the morphine shot in the butt to take the edge off, that kicked in after 30 minutes (around 8pm) and should have lasted 6-12 hours but really only took the edge off for about an hour before the intensity picked up again! I took the contractions again until I couldn't take it anymore and opted for the epidural around 11pm. Before the would give it to me they had to make sure I was far enough to get it....I was 4pm and 100% effaced after only 5 hours of the 12 hour cervidel so that was removed and I got the epi around 11pm. After that I was able to relax and I was in heaven after enduring those hours of contractions. I went to sleep until about 1 when the nurse had me switch sides because the baby's heart rate was decelerating with each contraction. At 1:15ish I thought my water broke but the nurse checked and said it was just bloody show. 5 minutes later I felt a gush and called her back to tell her that my water broke. She checked again and surly enough it had. She wanted me to get my cervix checked again and in a little over 2 hours I went from 4cm to 10 cm and fully effaced....it was crazy. By 1:55 I started pushing and he was born at 3:35 crying and perfect. We love him sooooo much. He looks just like me and has big feet like daddy. We are still working on getting him to latch to feed, he apparently thinks my nipple is only a pacifier but we'll keep trying.
Little Griffin Joseph was born at 8:31pm on Friday 10/2, 8 days early. 6lbs 7oz, 19 inches. FTM and I successfully had a natural unmedicated water birth. Had my bloody show Wednesday night and contractions became regular and strong overnight Thursday and Friday morning. My plan was for a natural birth so I tried to labor at home as long as possible. it was definitely the hardest thing I've ever done and after 15+ hours of labor I was ready to give up. But somehow I managed to get a second wind and make it through. To any others really wanting a natural birth, focusing on my breathing and accepting the pain and not fighting it helped, plus having a Doula. I don't think I would of made it without that support. Once I felt the urge to push, he was out in about 20 minutes. Although he's a little guy, he caused significant damage on the way out. Not very comfortable but so happy to have him here. He's absolutely perfect.
This board has been so helpful to me throughout this pregnancy. Thank you ladies for all your stories and support. Good luck to everyone!

This board has been so helpful to me throughout this pregnancy. Thank you ladies for all your stories and support. Good luck to everyone!
