Liam Joseph is here ! Started the gel 8 am this morning October 14, at 2 pm my contractions started. By 6 pm I was 6 cms and they broke my water, got the epidural around 4 cms. By 8 pm I was 8 cm, but baby was in a bad spot, he got lodged in the birth canal, tried a few different ways to free him, we were unable to, from 8 to when I had the section I was in excruciating pain from him trying to move down but he was stuck. So had a c section, October 14, 2015 at 9:47 pm Liam was born. He is 9 pounds 1 ounce !! So 6 ounces smaller then my first ! He's absolutely gorgeous and just latched amazing !
Hudson Wyatt came into this world at 6:34 pm via c section. He weighs 6lbs 2 oz and he is amazing! I went to work this morning (38+4 ) feeling pretty good for the first time in a while. I came home and made some lunch, and felt a little wet. Around 2:30 I stood up after eating and my water broke ! Called the OB and was told to go straight to L&D since we knew I had to have a c section . The Dr I really wanted just happened to be on call, couldn't have been happier. Surgery went fast and great. Very sore but manageable with the pain meds. Over the moon in love , very true what they say about it being immediate! Also we knew his name for sure with the first look at him.

Our little guy was a couple weeks late, born at 42 Weeks, so I'm posting here and in September now . We were getting really impatient and had a scheduled induction for that next Tuesday. That weekend I tried a home induction method using castor oil, it wasn't a lot and I didn't have the bad side effects, just a little bit of stomach cramps. In the afternoon I decided to get on the elliptical since it was raining and I couldn't go for a walk. While I was on the ecliptical I felt a trickle like I peed myself. It kept happening so I thought maybe it was my waters. Since it was such a small amount I waited to see if labor started on its own and it did. A couple hours later we went to the hospital because the trickle of water had gushed out and it made me worry. At the hospital the Dr checked me and I was at 4cm so they admitted me. My doula got there and I labored all night with her help and my husband supporting me through the pains. By 6am I had reached 8.5-9 cm but was so tired it was hard to keep laboring. Unfortunately I think it was a little too much for my body and I stalled out at 9 cm for 6 hrs. By then we made the call to start pitocin and I got an iv narcotic to help with the pain since I couldn't walk around and deal with the harder pitocin contractions. This did the trick and 3 hrs later I started pushing, 1.5hr later I had my baby boy in my arms at 4:34pm on Sunday, just over 24hrs from when the contractions first started. This was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, but well worth it. We are so happy with our little late arrival. I'm recovering at home from a partial 3rd degree tear, that's been difficult but I'm so glad I have my husband to support me. He has been my rock. Breastfeeding is frustrating at times but I'm confident we'll get the hang of it.
October 15, 2015 will now always be the day that our little girl stole our hearts. Madelyn Grace was born @ 1459 after 12.5 hours of labor. We arrived at the hospital dilated at 4 cm and 100% effaced I had horrible back labor and struggled through every contraction until 7 cm and then decided it would be best to get an epidural. Unfortunately baby was a little sleepy so we started pitocin, my water was broken by my doctor at 8 cm. About an hour later little one was ready to come out. I pushed for 17 minutes and doctor didn't have enough time to do an episiotomy (she ran through the door as she was coming out) so I ended up with quite a few stitches. Our delivery team was amazing and I am forever grateful to my amazing LD nurse. I wish all of you the best of luck ♡
Team Green now Team Blue!! Anthony James JR EDD 10/14/15 DOB 10/15/15 8lbs 5oz 20.5 inches I was set up for a 6am induction, dr broke my water at 8:10 am and we started labor. At 12:08pm I started to push and he was here at 12:27 pm. It was a fast labor and delivery with no epidural or pain meds!
Brendan Avery was born oct. 13th via c-section at 12:43pm. I was 37 weeks pregnant with high blood pressure so they decided that there was no point to waiting. He was breech so that's why we had to do a c-section which I was not happy with but once I heard him crying I turned into a big cry baby lol. He weighed at 6lbs 10 ounces and he was 19 inches long, still in the hospital but we are doing great!
My EDD is 10/23 I am not showing any signs of dilation, nor has my baby dropped. She is at -3 if y'all know what that means. I really want her to come when she is ready but doc said if she doesn't come by my due date we need to talk about inducing.

Kira Elizabeth was born on 10/10 at 10:08 am 12 hours after my water broke at 39+2. She was 6lbs 8oz and 19.5 inches. After a couple of very small complications she is doing amazing and already back up to her birth weight from breastfeeding.
I had my membranes stripped on Thursday morning at my regular appointment and had regular but still 10-20 minute apart contractions until they started to stall out on Friday night. I was very surprised at 10pm when my water broke!
Satori Lynn was born 10/7/15 at 39 weeks. 8 lbs 5 oz and 20.5 inches. Had contractions off and on all day then at 5 PM they became painful and 4-5 minutes apart. Went to the hospital at 6:30 and the OB broke my water at 8:30 PM. Barely had time to get a spinal block before she was born at 9:49 PM. Only had to push for a few minutes and had no tearing! She is a beautiful little girl and took to breastfeeding right away. Best wishes to all you ladies!
Caspian James EDD 10/20/15 born 10/15/15 at 1:32pm 6 lbs, 6 oz
On 10/15 I started feeling regular contractions around 4am, not crazy intense yet but still painful and ~15 mins apart. They got closer to 12 mins apart by 6am. I wasn't scheduled for my c-section (due to breech presentation) until 10/19, so I called the doctor's office at 8:30am and they sent me to L&D to get checked out. I hadn't had cervical checks done at my OB so they hooked me up to the monitor and did a couple of checks an hour or so apart. After confirming I was in early labor and dilating (went from 2cm to 3cm within the hour), the doctor on-call decided that we'd be having the baby that day!! There was no point in waiting, especially since contractions were getting more uncomfortable and I was dilating. I got prepped for surgery, and by 1pm was in the OR. This was my first surgery ever, and while it was a bit scary feeling 85% of my body all numb, the sensations and uncomfortable pressure, it all went smoothly. They spent a bit of time on pulling the baby out since he was apparently so wedged in. No wonder he couldn't flip! He really had no room in my heart-shaped uterus inside my tiny body. Thankfully he was perfectly healthy. He also latched on took to breastfeeding right away. He's a breastfeeding champ.
Everything happened so fast but it was worth it in the end. We're so in love with our little Caspian!
Abigail Rose. 8 lbs 3 oz 20" long Born on her due date, October 16
Went in to be induced, I was already 4 cm. doctor broke my water at 8:30 am, started pitocin, got my epidural at 9:15, and was ready to push at 2:00. She is doing great. She latched on and nursed right away! We love her so much!!!
Our second daughter,Briley Grace arrived today (oct 16th) at 2:38pm. At 38 +3 wks. She weighs 6lbs 12oz and is 20inches long. She latched right on and is eating like a champ! She's so precious. Didn't get my epidural in until I was already a 10 but I'm so thankful I did because it allowed me to rest a bit before delivering her. Praising God for this miracle.
Paige Avery 7lb 12oz 52.5cm EDD 10.10.15 DOB 15.10.15
I was induced at 40+4. My contractions had to be stopped at 11pm due to fear of my uterus rupturing. At 5am contractions returned and my water was broken at 7:30am. Our little princess entered the world at 8:27am. I didn't want an epidural yet almost caved due to having severe back labour - i was 2 seconds away from an epi when they decided they should probably check how far i was dilated and lucky they did because i was ready to push. 25 minutes later and our miracle was in my arms.
Vanessa Margaret was born on 10-12. Estimated dd was today (10/14). Water broke at 520am in bed. Was 2-3 cm at 630. Was having intense contractions every 1-2 minutes by the time my doctor came to check me before clinical at 1030am. Was 5cm. They gave me iv and I got the epidural around 11-1130. By 1245 I was 10cm and they called my doctor back to the hospital. At 2 I started pushing and she was born at 215pm. She was 20 inches long and 8lbs of sweetness. phone won't let me post picture but she's my profile pic!
Team green turned into team pink! Katherine Virginia Due 10/11 Born 10/16 at 12:50 pm 8lb 1oz 20 inches
Birth story: I was due 10/11 and we decided to induce on 10/16. We got to the hospital at 7am and got all checked in with an I.V. And pitocin started. Around 8am my doctor came in to check me and break my water. I was about 2-3 cm and 50% just like I had been in the office on Monday. The pit and broken water started doing their job and by 10:30 I was feeling more uncomfortable and started asking about an epidural. I needed to get more fluid and the anesthesiologist was with someone else. I was really in pain by about 11:15 when in walked my new best friend. It took about 30 minutes to place the epidural, but I was so thankful that she really took her time and communicated with me. My last anesthesiologist was terrible so I had been worried. She did tell me there might still be pain from places she couldn't get to easily and I was still hurting a bit on my left side. My doctor came in right after the epi was placed around noon and checked me. I was only 4-5 and pretty disappointed. Little did I know that the epidural would really help my body relax and get there. By 12:30 I was 8-9cm and quickly the nurses got the room set up and paged the doctor back from lunch. They were begging me not to push as the doctor rushed in and we could see the head. One big push and the head was out. The doctor had to cut the cord because it was wrapped so tightly and I barely even had to push the body out. We had been team green so DH got to announce it is a girl. Even with this one being my largest I didn't tear at all. I was so thankful I had a mirror to watch her come out. We are all so in love.
EDD: Oct 30 Delivery Dare: Oct 17th 6lbs 5 oz 19 inches long
Had to get induced for small size (I was measuring big the entire time.) Started Cervadil around 8:30pm and by 9:00am that Sat morning I was 10 cm! Pushed twice and she was here! Didn't even have time for Pitocin! The Cervadil was horrible for me and felt like sometimes I wasn't going to make it. Once the epidural was in around 4am . It felt amazing!!
We switched from Team Green to Team Pink! Maeve Elizabeth, born 10/17/15, EDD 10/19/15.
Induced due to pre-eclampsia. Started cytotec at 11pm on Friday and started active labor at about 7am this morning. The contractions were one after the other without much rest inbetween. I have into an epidural at 11:45 am and got some rest. The doctor broke my water at 7cm and 15 minutes later I was ready to push. The urge to push was intense! I was still at 9cm so I had to wait a bit longer. Pushed her out in about 20 min. She is gorgeous!
Sarah K. Witdelina (named after our mothers) was born on October 5, 2015, and we are so grateful for her. Kenyan and Nicaraguan. Officially from Team Green to Team Pink! She was in the NICU for 5 days for a couple of reasons, but was cleared, and we got to take her home. I was also on antibiotics in the hospital for a few days, and had developed a fever. So thankful for my amazing husband for being so strong and supportive, and for my sister for staying with us the first day. Overall, I am thankful for everyone who supported us throughout the pregnancy, for the wonderful hospital staff, and for the Bump for bringing all us Mamas together.
Raelyn Renee - born 10/17 at 6:47pm. 6 lbs 11 ounces and 19.5 inches long. Born just as planned in a perfect water birth. EDD 10/9. So beautiful and worth the med free birth
I had Gestational Diabetes so my doctor didn't want me past 40 wks. 40 wks came and I was only dilated 1 cm so I went in to be induced at 8pm the next evening. Started on Cervadil for 12 hrs & that did nothing. Then started on Misoprostol & it only dilated me to 4 cm. On 10/11/15 evening, they began Pitocin gradually. I finally reached 6 cm at 7am on 10/12/15. My doctor broke my water and by 11am I was 10 cm. When I began to push, my doctor noticed my baby had turned "sunny side up", which made it harder to deliver. I pushed for 2.5 hrs before he turned. I pushed for the rest of the 3 hrs but I was so tired by then that he wouldn't come out. His heartbeat got too fast so the doctor did an emergency c-section. It was horrible because my body didn't fully react to the epidural but it wasn't apparent until it came time to pull the incision open. I felt EVERYTHING and was crying bloody murder. Since I had pushed him into the birth canal, they had to push him up vaginally to the incision site. Most traumatic experience of my life, but I wouldn't trade my baby for anything in the world.
Charlotte Giselle Dunkin was born October 18th at 1:25am, 7 lbs 6 oz, 19 in.
I labored at home for about 13 hours, was at 5cm when we got to the hospital and had my water break while they were evaluating me around 8pm. Got an epidural and was at 8cm by around 10pm. Started pushing around 12:45am and baby girl was here just 40 minutes later!

I'm late to post because I have been enjoying motherhood so much! Ryder Mason was born Sat Oct 3rd @ 11:54 am - unexpectedly 3 weeks early at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City! I was in the audience at The Tonight Show when my water broke! CRAZY! After 19 hours of labor and family rushing to the city, our little man was here! He is doing awesome and we couldn't feel any more lucky.
I was due October 13th and when I went overdue, my OB scheduled a 9am induction for Thursday, October 15th. My DD decided to take matters into her own hands and my water broke just after midnight on October 15th. It was a pretty mild second labor, lasting about 14 hours total. I only pushed for about 15 minutes.
Emily Olivia was born at 2:02pm, weighing in at 8 lbs. 9.6 oz. and measuring 21 3/4 inches long.

Introducing Rowan Alexander! EDD was 10/11/15, and was scheduled for induction on 10/21/15. 5am on 10/18/15 I woke up to contractions about every 15 mins. At 8am I woke up hubby to walk around the park with me for a while to try to get them to speed. By 10am they were 2-4 minutes apart and we headed to L&D. They monitored me for an hour or so, but I was not dilating so they were ready to send me home, but did one last set of tests. Turns out I had Pre-E so they decided to go ahead and induce. My original birth plan was to go all natural, but knowing that pitocin makes the contractions so much worse I opted for an epidural. Unfortunately, my white cell count came back high, so they would not do one for fear of introducing infection. They started pit at 11:30am and I was already dilated to a 2. When they checked at 1pm I was only up to a 2.5. The nurse told me they were going to up the pit, and after several hours, a dose of Demerol, and a lot of pain, I was finally at a 4 by 5pm. The contractions started to get to the point where I could not handle the pain so they gave me a patient controlled anesthesia of morphine. I did my best to not use it too often, and with the help of DH and an amazing L&D nurse, I dilated to a 10 by 7:30pm. They called the on call dr when I was at a 6, and again when I was at an 8, but she didn't get there until five minutes before 8pm. I'd been trying not to push since 7:30, but Rowan was doing his own thing and was crowning by the time she got there. In three pushes he was out, with the most horrific gush of blood. He had the cord wrapped around his neck, and he had to be given a shot of Narcam to wake him due to the morphine, but after two hours observation in NICU he was given the green light to join us in our recovery room. I've been in love with this little wiggle machine since his first breath, and DH and I are thrilled to have completed our little family.
Adeline Quinn joined us on the 18th. EDD was october 30. She came in at 6lbs 9oz and 20 in long. I was induced Saturday morning for pre-eclampsia. I was given 3 rounds of misoprostal then stared pitocin. I went in at 3 cm dilated and 50% effaced. By Sunday I was only 4 cm and 70% effaced. Do they decided to break my water. Contractions started almost immediately. They were coming right on top of each other. I gave into the epidural and was able to complete and start pushing in 1-1.5 hours. I just needed to be able to relax! I pushed for a while. Nice and slow. I had a wonderful epi. It let me relax but I was completely able to move my legs. I was able to get up and use the squat bar and move as needed. Baby girl was sunny side up so the OB reached in and rotated her to make pushing easier. I have a small amount of tearing because she decided to come out with an arm by her face. She cried and looked around before I had her completely out! She handled the labor like a champ. It was painful but so worth it. Hubby and I are so thrilled she is here!!
Penelope Rain 8 lbs 4 oz 21 inches EDD : 10.7.15 DOB : 10.16.15
I was 41+2 when baby girl decided to join us. I had my membranes swept at my 41 week check up to try and get a move in things because I was 3.5cm dilated and 90% effaced. The morning of delivery I called the OB to ask about losing my mucous plug and talk about the inconsistent contractions I was having. I had one when I was talking to her and she had me take the next hour to time them. At first they were really far apart but it seemed the more I foucsed my energy towards them the closer and stranger they got! I quickly took a shower and we were off to the hospital.
I labored for just under 12 hours. I ended up getting an epidural because my back labor was so intense and I'm really glad that I did. It gave me about an hour to try and regroup before I began to push. I was very greatful that I still had the urge to bear down even though I had gotten an epidural. I pushed for less than 20 minutes before my little angel was in my arms. We're so in love with our beautiful little lady. I'm hoping for wonderful deliveries and speedy recoveries for all of you beautiful mommas out there

I have into an epidural at 11:45 am and got some rest. The doctor broke my water at 7cm and 15 minutes later I was ready to push. The urge to push was intense! I was still at 9cm so I had to wait a bit longer. Pushed her out in about 20 min. She is gorgeous!

I labored at home for about 13 hours, was at 5cm when we got to the hospital and had my water break while they were evaluating me around 8pm. Got an epidural and was at 8cm by around 10pm. Started pushing around 12:45am and baby girl was here just 40 minutes later!
