I gave my 17 month old a corn dog for dinner. Eating it off the stick keeps him occupied and prevents him from throwing it on the floor. It reminds me of one of those activity balls for dogs with food inside:). I also had a corn dog, and it was super good. Baby just went to sleep and I'm thinking of what to have for dinner 2.

My husband refuses to let me watch anything political. Apparently I get way too involved and loud. I hate politicians (and politics in general) but love arguing with them on tv haha Btw, Donald Trump can't seriously argue with anyone in the world about their looks! Good grief! Lol

Ha, no, they are great, just another choking hazard when not cut up. My FIL is really anxious about choking and literally dices them into teeny pieces. It's really cute.
My mom is an extreme worry wart over food. LO is 17 months old and she still refuses to let him have chicken sticks that she hasn't first mashed to a pulp....
ETA my mother did work with extremely special needs children, and knew a few kids who choked on bandaids. She's seen a lot of scary things in her life... Don't let your little ones have stickers, and don't ever leave a bandaid where they can get them. Talk about stuck over the windpipe! And coins, oh lord...

Regarding the grapes choking hazard... I'm terrified to eat them as an adult! A co-worker of mine (25 year old male) choked on one at lunch and the ambulance had to come. It was stuck in his pipe but he could still breathe so 911 said not to do the Heimlich (sp?). Scariest experience ever! I think I'll be the crazy mom dicing them up into tiny pieces.
lately I've been craving green apples like mad so my way to class tonight decided to stop at Starbucks to see if I could find one. I was hoping for a whole green apple, but instead I got a fruit cup. A mixed fruit cup with exactly four small slices of green apples for $4. What a great value!
