I'm not too happy that our plane tickets to go visit FIL for Thanksgiving are going to cost just as much as our plane tickets to go to Hawaii next summer. The only thing that's making this trip worth the money is the fact that I won't have to spend thanksgiving with MIL...
I heard the heartbeat today!! It took forever to find (like a whole 150 seconds! So scary.) The little thing was trying to hide behind my bone. And she couldn't get the Doppler any closer to it, so it was faint. But it was there! I only bump on my phone so no gif, but I'm so happy!!

Do these have the same purpose as the boudoir shots where only your SO sees them (and occasionally people on pinterest)? And what do people do with them once they are taken? If I am opening up a can of worms I apologize.
I have a pet peeve about thread titles. I absolutely despise the titles "help" "advice needed" etc. I don't want to go into every AW thread jsut ot find out they couldn't use the search function.
I'm just irritated I clicked on the "Help" one so it keeps showing new responses :-/

I just drove 20 miles to get Chipotle just rice and Barbacoa nothing else the cashier looked at me like I was crazy then looked at my bump and said pregnancy craving. Pretty much yep unfortunately my littles has an early dismissal and I had to share my food but it was delicious. =P~
Why aren't cheese fries considered a well rounded meal? The fda should consider the possibility that a steady diet of cheese fries is ok! It's the only thing that tastes ok to me now.

(Incase you are interested dinner is lamb loin topped with red wine and butter slow cooked onions, green beans, dijon new potatoes, and butter carrot.... aka the lamb I took out of the freezer and the last of all the vegetables)

There are obviously extenuating circumstances that I can understand it would be a great idea to start one, but many of the ones that have come across my social media feeds (including my niece's which just so happened to spark this rant) are for frivolous, money grabbing reasons that just grind my gears. Seriously niece? You need money for studying abroad? Get a JOB like I did, ask your parents (they are the ones that probably suggested the GFM) or take out a freaking loan.

Ha ha my cousin set up a Go Fund Me for her second anniversary trip to a sandals resort, she was like if you were planning on getting us anything for Christmas this year, please just give us money. It was disgusting. She got no money and I couldn't have been prouder of society. She also

$75 to "make her dreams come true". I'm sorry there are people you
should bug for money and it isn't the folks you are friends with on
Facebook. They are also completely out of money and have been mooching

No joke, a woman I know (not well) posted a 'Go Fund Me' for her and her family...they were asking for $500,000 (or something close) to pay off the mortgage of the house they JUST bought and their student loans, so that they can travel as a family and make 'real' memories... Um ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! No, I will not buy you a home so you can go on vacation. SMH.
Those are some serious wtf! Gofundme pages! We do donate to a couple, but seriously 1 is our friend (and my nutritionist who helped me with my PCOS diet) who found out she has ovarian cancer, and the other was from one of my former Head Start parents- last year her baby had to be born early due to a congenital heart defect, and the baby lived for 3 months before dying
Both pages were to help with transportation funding/ hospital bills.

Alright I'm about to ban the guy sitting next to me from bringing food into the office. He goes between tuna and super healthy stinky veggies. I appreciate he's trying to be healthy but good grief they STINK!!! I can't stand the smell of peppers, he usually has broccoli or cauliflower that just stink!!

I'm so TIRED. Today has been a long day at work, and there's still food to eat, a shower to take, laundry to do, and Skype sessions to keep up with my family in Mexico. All is wanna do is nap and that's the only thing I can't do today!
I've only ever donated to one go fund me page and that was to help a friend financially whose 4 year old daughter had brain cancer. She unfortunately passed away later in the year but both parents were able to take a leave of absence from their jobs to spend their time with their daughter who had a limited amount of time left. Asking for money because you don't want to work and nothing is wrong is lazy I would never give my money to people like this. They would get all my eye rolls.
A fb acquaintance posted her gofundme for $20,000 for crazy workout equipment so she could train like The Biggest Losers since she didn't actually make it on the show. Huge eye roll, and automatic unfriending.

I knew a military wife that (while her and her husband were very well off) set up a gfm to buy him a motorcycle. They could completely afford one on their own (and actually already had one, they just wanted a new one). She played the big "he just deserves this so much because he's a military man who serves his country" card and believe it or not, raised the money. It pissed A LOT of people off and lost some friends. There are actual military heroes that deserve these and other things and they basically ripped everyone off.

i'll share in your excitement. heard the heartbeat for the first time (142!). she said it sounded like baby was sleeping because it was so faint at first, which i dunno, i just love thinking about the baby taking a nap in there! they are concerned about my high blood pressure though, especially after the news on Friday about the study where it says optimal blood pressure is even lower than 120/80. booo!
Feel like a bad mother just too tired to make dinner so my kids are having hotdogs and fries I did make them homemade smoothies with spinach and kale so hopefully they got some nutrients. I need energy stat.
