I am in the Dallas area as well @lalala2004 & @LitteBit3042, My favorite part so far is that I work at a hospital so some choices that I am about to have to make aren't really choices at all! Being from a smaller town I am super overwhelmed.
Any photographer suggestions that don't break the bank?
I wish I had some suggestions! I'm going to be in search of that myself. Our photographer friend is out of state, so I guess we're gonna have to ask around and figure things out. I'll let you know what I find.
I don't have a photographer here yet. But I have done some research already. And I THINK I'm going to use One Dimple Photography. Maternity, Birth/Newborn
After 3 losses, our rainbow baby is finally here! DD May 2012, #2 May 2016
I'm in Olympia Washington. Surrounded by Puget Sound, mountains, the greenest trees, and a wonderfully warm community that truly values ALL families. It certainly seems like a perfect place to bring this new little baby into our lives.
@roodford I'm in west LA beach towns too! Are you in the Southbay by any chance? And if so....do you have any OB recommendations? We just moved here so I know nothing....
Little Rock, AR! I lurked through and didn't see any fellow Arkansans. I believe the closest May mamas so far are Texas and Oklahoma. Good luck to everyone!!!
@NeciaD we live in Playa del Rey, so not too far from you! My OB is in Santa Monica at UCLA medical center, which may be a little far for you. I work out there, so it's a little more convenient. I've been really happy with UCLA health though, and I know they have locations all over the place. I would look into them. Where did you move here from?
Central New Jersey here! We're smack dab in the middle of New York City and Philly, and it's an hour to the mountains and less than an hour to the beach. We have the best of everything here--especially pizza :-)
@khgahol good to see another AZ girl here. I'm in the Phoenix area.
I like the weather, but I'm glad the heat is winding down finally. But you don't have to shovel sunshine, so I'll take my 115+ temps to avoid the snow.
SW Louisiana. The best thing isn't anything. I hate this place, which was the reason we were going to move any where away from here, but that might be put on hold for a little while.
Shoutout to all my fellow Texans! I'm in San Antonio. Born and raised, and I love this place! San Antonio is great because it's a giant city but still has the very laid back atmosphere of a smaller place.
I live in Baltimore, MD. I lived in this area my whole life. One thing I really like about Maryland is that you really get four distinct seasons and there is a lot of history here!

@Jparke2 - I love the inner harbor! I used to volunteer at the aquarium, now I just take my daughter there sometimes to visit the turtle
@jessiem1025 You've like 2 hours from me!!! My husband and I do lumberjack competitions (well, I no longer compete but go to all of them with him) and do a few in NH and VT. I was just an hour from you 6ish weeks ago at the N. Haverhill fair.
I live in western Maine. I love that we have distinct seasons. And that we are mostly rural. I'm a country girl through and through.

I'm from Delaware... I love where I grew up and I'm so excited to raise my children here. In a small town of 1000 were surrounded by corn fields and acres upon acres of land. But at the same time less then 10 minutes from Rehoboth Beach.
I live in Frederick, MD. Its great because we're an hour from Baltimore and an hour from D.C. My family lives in Ocean City, MD so I get to enjoy the beach too : )
@Mellbow DH and I had to move from downtown because of a work opportunity. But we love Indy and bring our bikes downtown all the time. Excited to see another Indianapolis May 2016 Bumppie
Connecticut! We live on the sound, and are a quick drive to New York. There's also no place more beautiful than New England in the autumn, so can't wait for the leaves to start to change.
