I live in Sonoma County, CA. Everything is on fire right now and there's a rumor that Google is starting a campus here soon, so well all be homeless soon one way or another. So I guess the best thing is that right now I've got a roof over my head, my health, and a healthy fetus.
I live in Ashland, Oregon! Very small hippie town with the happiest people I have ever met in my life. Everyone is so kind and loving, and our town is incredibly safe. A great place to raise a family. (Only 1 murder in 10 years) I'd say that's pretty safe... What's great about our town is that every holiday is a big deal for the whole town! Halloween everyone gathers in the town square and just has a blast and is all dressed up, thanksgiving we have a light festival, and around Christmas time the whole town is lit up in lights! We are very festive people. Overall..Great food, great people, great scenery and views. We're surrounded by mountains and trees! Great places to hike and adventure.. And we love our organic products, and non gmo's.. We even have a ban on fast food. If you're into a happy, healthy life style, and a small town vibe where everywhere you walk you know someone.. You'd love Ashland Oh and P.S. We have a university called southern Oregon uni and we are known for our fine arts department
Columbus, Ohio.
We are home of the Best Damn Band in the Land.
Going to be hard to not drink during tailgate season this year!
I am a Buckeye fan from California. Coming out in November for our annual OSU game and to visit family! GO BUCKS. and it is already tough not partaking at tailgates, everyone gives me the look
Missoula Montana here though Utah born and bred. We've only lived here a year and a half but I love the mountains. The town has a quaint feel with all of its festivals and street markets.
I'm from Pittsburgh, PA. I love the family-friendly things here like the museums, playgrounds, and the zoo. In general, this seems to be the sort of city that keeps people once they put down roots. The main reason why we still live here is that most of my family is here.
First person on here I've seen from pittsburgh . I grew up around Pittsburgh. I live about an hour outside now. I'm still there all the time.
I only saw a few others in Washington, but they were all on the west side of the state.
I am in southeastern Washington (think Daffy Duck ) It's the dry side of the state, which means hot summers and mild winters. I'm excited to be pregnant again, but during a different season

Brooklyn Heights, NYC here and I LOVE my neighborhood. We are a 2 minute walk from bustling Brooklyn Bridge Park and Dumbo, but our historical neighborhood is quiet, tree-lined and beautiful. And I'm just a 10 minute subway ride from my office in Manhattan. Couldn't ask for anything more! I heart NY.
@LadySamLady DH lived in Brooklyn Heights when we first met and loved it. I'm still obsessed with Cranberry's even though we've been in the West Village for 8 years! Our friends are getting married at the Brooklyn Historical Society in June.
I live in Wisconsin. The seasons. It's nice in the summer not too hot, football in the fall, I love the winter sports (although winter could be not so long), a short spring (I don't care for spring).
Birmingham, Alabama! --- My favorite thing about down here is the warm fall weather and college football -- and the hospitality. You know all your neighbors and you see them at church on Sunday mornings! I love my state! Roll tide!
Re: GTKY: Where do you live?
Be thing about here is the sun! We have so many days that I just love it! (I do sometimes miss all the seasons from PA....fall especially!)
Oh and P.S. We have a university called southern Oregon uni and we are known for our fine arts department
