I post mostly during the week also I peek in on the weekends but tend to spend that time with my family being unplugged.
I think the only time I'm checking TB at home is while I'm giving my son a bedtime bottle...I really don't like the mobile version and I try super hard to stay unplugged while my boys are awake.

1. Ditto to the weekday warrior thing when it comes to TB. I lurk some on the weekend, but mostly try to enjoy my time away from a computer screen. Also, I hate TB's app. Not user friendly when it comes to the boards.
2. Why is it that when people ask for an opinion (from unbiased strangers on the internet because sugar coating things isn't helpful for anyone) and they don't get the answer they were expecting, it means that those responding were being rude? You asked for an opinion and you got one. Just because it doesn't align with what you were hoping they'd say doesn't mean the people (giving you their time by answering, I might add) are catty b*tches.

Just take it to a facebook group. It will solve everything (says the voice of experience after a BMB facebook group had 4 different subgroups and had enough of it and finally left after 4 years )

Saturday we went out to eat crawfish for a friends birthday. I was soo excited because while I don't love crawfish I do love the boiled shrimp, potatoes, corn , sausage and mushrooms. I was excited about it all week and didn't eat much for lunch to save room. I immediately felt sick when we got our food and eat like three bites and went to the bathroom to throw up. So sad..LOL.

This is the worst! I've figured out that if I don't eat the food that sounds good to me within about 20 minutes of thinking about it, then it's not even worth bothering to make it/buy it. It's such a short window, especially when I'm at work and have to go get the food. By the time I get to a stopping point so I can leave, get to my car in the parking garage, drive to the restaurant, sit in line, I don't even want the food anymore.

I empathize @skruhmin - I feel like a wife/mom failure today - laundry and dishes piled, but I'm so puky. Kids' last day of summer and we are watching tv AGAIN instead of pool/park/bouncy place. I'm stuck on the couch. I know they'll get over it, but the guilt is strong today.

PSA - Target brand milk is 1.99 (at my location at least) a gallon and there is a cartwheel coup for 5% off. We go through a LOT of milk in my house and I know that for many of us, a penny saved is a penny earned!
Also, I just saw somewhere that if you shop at Target it's worth it to take a minute and use the cartwheel app to scan everything you're buying to see if there is a coupon. Just did this and found 4 I wouldn't have used.
Just got done with trainings for the day. My mom watched LO at our house for me. She managed to clean the kitchen and the living room, as well as run three loads of laundry. I'll never understand...
It's apparent to me I'm just awful at being an adult. I'm concerned what baby #2 will bring.

My MIL comes over usually one day week to watch our DD and when i get home the place is spotless, dinner is ready and my kids playing nicely. When i stay home i manage to get one load of laundry done (and by done i mean its on its 3rd drying cycle because i don't want to fold it) and maybe did the dishes. I don't get it!

Ok zip it with being hard on yourself, mom's are just amazing #2 will bring chaos and it's ok to give yourself a pass at life - if you don't, you will go crazy. Your mom has had time to get it together - like an entire lifetime and now has adult child(ren??). Someday your kids will be wondering how you have it all together.

Word. And some of the crazy questions. Please for the love of all things holy, use deodorant, unless your normal deodorant is made of sulfuric acid or something. Your husband/coworkers/grocery store clerk/mailman will thank you for not smelling like a dirty hippie.

We just bought a new washer/dryer for our new house and the dryer has a steam dry function because yeah, I suck at the folding after drying thing. I almost upgraded to the live-in maid option, but kind of out of budget

I haven't vacuumed in 3 weeks! It is driving me crazy. I should also mention I have a long haired dog and cat so it is getting pretty bad. The problem is I can't run a vacuum when DS is awake because he is terrified of it. then by time he goes to bed I have all the everyday tidying and my coursework to do. I need to just suck it up and power through one night but I am really struggling to find that motivation.
I have a roomba but he's no longer charging... Desperately need to get him fixed because my long haired dog is having some skin issues and losing enough fur every night to drive me insane.
So has the unconscious belly rubbing started for anyone? I keep catching myself at random times. I start back to school trainings tomorrow and I'm afraid I'll give it away...
Not necessarily rubbing but resting my hands on top of my belly has. I kind of resemble a trucker with a beer gut right now.

I about killed the worker at Costco today.... She wouldn't let me use my husbands membership card, something I have been able to do about a zillion times so long as I have my ID.
All I wanted was a freaking box of pull-ups for my toddler because she used her last one today. I even left work early, and had to literally RUN through the store to grab the box because DH and I share a car and he had a meeting he had to get to.

I assumed I was since I have literally never had a problem using his card...we're talking 5 years, not just once or twice. The cashier took my ID and his card and made someone go look it up. It turned out that my name is not on his account, which is a business acct. She almost didn't give me his card back! I bet if I picked any other line I would have been fine as always, she was just super anal about the rules.
Regardless, my pregnancy hormones made me want to punch her...it's not like I had a full cart, or was trying to buy expensive electronics or something.
Woop woop! I just ate two warm chocolate chip cookies with milk that my DH made while I was away. Made my day and I'm not ashamed lol. Yay for food wins!
I have eaten so many effing frozen White Castle burgers and pop tarts. I'm starting to hate them. But they both stay down and require zero effort. I want mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers with bronco berry sauce from Arby's.

Wow I didn't realize it until I saw this, poptarts sound SO freaking good right now. Mmm
Ds asked for toaster strudel this morning and while we usually only buy it for a special treat I am probably going to buy some today mostly so that I can have some too.
@Stormiewinter - I can't remember if you have kids yet or not, but after my first kid I caved and hired a lady to clean my house twice a month ($75 each time). At first my husband was reluctant because it wasn't exactly in our budget, but now he's super supportive because we both come home from work to a clean house. We both love that twice a month somebody is actually cleaning behind and under our furniture, and I'm not using hours of weekend to clean. I still vacuum, dust, and organize in between cleanings (I have to I have two dogs and mega allergies). Anyway, I highly recommend it if you can swing it :-)

I actually felt good enough to make dinner last night and it ended up that nobody ate it. DH felt bad so he said he would clean it up. Nope. Dirty dishes and leftover food are still sitting on the table untouched. Maybe I'm over reacting but I want nothing more to go to his work and pull him out by the ear and make him come home to clean it up like he said he would!
