Ha...I posted my "UO" post I'm the "OMG Seriously" post (because I do stupid things), but they closed it down before I could fix it. Has TB become a "no fun" zone??
I really didn't see an issue with that thread. It was mocking how society treats pregnant women and all the crazy "rules" we are supposed to follow. This closing of threads is getting a bit ridiculous. Also, I'm kind of afraid to say any more, lest our mod boot me out and away from you lovelies!
Jeez. There is almost no point. I was just starting to actually enjoy this BMB, even if I do live the other side of the world, always join in late and am British (that's bad enough right?!). Really can't be bothered if we can't have a laugh.
@vvitchhazel you should get some black out curtains for your bedroom (or every room of the house). They are the best thing ever. I don't know how I lived without them before.
@Paige6410 we went camping last weekend and ran into deer flies. Our first experience with them since we moved to New England only last year. They are relentless!
Last night I got in an argument with DH and literally said to him, "Fine! Next time, you get pregnant and see what it feels like to have all of YOUR fun taken away!"
Also, UO: I hate touching newborns. They're scary looking and I'm scared I'm going to break them. Hopefully this gets resolved before I have my own...
@kemerson531 re: newborns/babies, I have always been uncomfortable around others' but DD was completely different. Even if it doesn't resolve for you it'll be different with your own.
I've always agreed with the saying that all newborns look like Winston Churchill. Mine didn't though, mine had rainbow hair and pooed glitter. She bounced when I dropped her too..

Are you sure you're talking about your kid? Or did you confuse her with her toy?

YES.
eta: I bolded your question, but apparently a working website is too much to ask for.
I'm not a person to post a lot but I just need to say I love you ladies! I hate the repeat posting and I'm not good at fake nice so I don't even both.
I also hate stupid questions and stupid people. Example lady came to ER with 10, yea 10, pregnancy test and asked me to look at them and tell her my opinion. My response "No". I just can't deal [-X

I WISH that was an option. Our apartment is three levels with only partial walls or railings (all about waist high on me), with one entire wall being the 20x20 ft windows. There's no escaping the sun! The windows start on the second level at about chest height and go to about three feet below the ceiling, which is all open to the third level as well.
I'm gone on vacation and I feel like I missed so much!!! What happened on the OMG post???
My UO. I hate when we are all called hormonal pregnant women or when something we do/say is blamed because we are hormonal. Does it happen to some? Yes, but I don't like it being applied to the masses. I am not. I have not lost my logic because I'm pregnant. Maybe it's just me that feels that way but I guess that why it's my UO!
I'm a STM who is 13ish weeks and I can 100% for sure feel my baby move. My OB was shocked and felt the baby move this week at my appointment. So when I read all the it is impossible comments I just want to say hush you know it alls but instead I just roll my eyes and keep it moving.
I don't have a problem with you saying that you can feel your baby move. I'm a STM and I THINK I've felt movement once or twice. I have a problem with the whole "I'm 100% sure of it" part. Because, well, no you aren't.
I don't understand what happened with the OMG post. If they had a problem with it, shouldn't they have removed some of the individual posts? Usually, they remove some posts AND shut it down. If none were bad enough to be removed, how was it bad enough to get shut down? (Or did I totally scroll by some removed ones?)

I wonder if an SS complained about it to the mod.

@sherks11 here's the clif notes version:
Oh wait.
@babybluu winter. Love it. Fall is my favorite, but winter is a close second. Summer is too hot. I'm a baby.
