So you have no suggestion of what to call it...
I really don't care what if you use the word or not. It was your stance that bully is not the right word to use when there really is nothing else to call it.
You said yourself that It's the misuse of the word bully that takes away from how serious it is.
I'm sorry your LO is made fun of and bullied by others that's not okay. I hope it gets better for them.
I tend to say torment ( or tormented) because to me it fits better. I think that’s why I don’t use the word “bully”
because of the misuse of it. Thanks things have gotten better for LO.
Its been nice talking to ya. Guess I’ll go
get some work done report won’t write itself!!! I've procrastinated enough for one day!
I agree that bullying isn't the right word to use as adults. Sometimes it is just that you have different opinions and people overreact. In my opinion bullying is a term that describes the majority of torment that goes on in school. Once you become an adult this type of behavior falls into the category of physical/emotional harassment/abuse. I like the pp 20/60/20 assessment.
Do you know the type of friend that starts off okay then becomes more of a frenemy and you still hang out thinking maybe it will get better but everytime they disappoint ! Well my UO is this type of friend , lord give me the strength to cut them off !!!
I'm pretty sure the person I'm referring to tries to get my husband drunk at the pool then asks us to go out to the bar ... Calls me lame when I don't want to go... Oh and it was MY birthday ! Selfish *****! I can tell she's trying to buddy up with my husband , he's so not having it ! She actually asked him to come over and paint her place. But shame on me , I guess I did stand her presence on my bday to use her for pool access for the day . bahahaha are my horns showing ?
Sometimes I think that women on these boards say things to try to fit in with the cool kids. I mean it's like @Snoopylovesbelle and @vvitchhazel are the cool kids that people want to like them so they try to say things they think will make them liked.
It often backfires but it's pretty entertaining lol
@claireloSC I'll start a thread later today so other people can share their frenemy stories! It's definitely a good amount to type out. I'll give you a little something something so you know it's worth reading -
The last time I saw her she looked at my SO (she's been dating her boyfriend for about the same amount of time as me) and said "He looks good." I laughed and said he hasn't even been going to the gym. She looked him up and down like a piece of meat (pretty much drooling over a fully clothed man) and was like "I can't tell."
