Lol @Snoopylovesbelle I don't think that's an "unpopular" opinion 'round these parts but I do agree. The most ironic thing is usually the people calling others bullies are also calling them other names too. 8-}
People need to toughen up a little and not care so much about what others think or say, and teach their children the same. Maybe this person isn't a bully and your just a hyper sensitive cry baby
@StephPegasus and @Snoopylovesbelle at school we have to teach the kids not to over use the word "bully" because unfortunately the vast majority of people use the word incorrectly and set a poor example for children and others around them. Bullying means to hurt someone repeatedly by using an imbalance in power. It is not just calling people names or an occasional u liked comment. Bullying is a major charge and is not supposed to be thrown around.
I hate when people write really long comments. It could be the most insightful thing ever, but I'll probably just read the first few lines. I know, I'm lazy.

I'm from the South, and I already attacked big bows...this week, I'm going for the jugular. Monogrammed outfits/bathing suits. Now, having special baby blankets, bags, jewelry, and deco for their room monogrammed is ok with me. These are keepsakes. But why must mommies put their children's initials or names on so many pieces of clothing? Kids outgrow bathing suits, t-shirts, and jumpsuits. Putting their monogram on it means you can never donate it or hand it down to a sibling(who wants to wear something with someone else's name/initials?). If people give me monogrammed things for baby, I will say thank-you and baby will wear it. But I will never have an outfit monogrammed myself.
I'm a STM who is 13ish weeks and I can 100% for sure feel my baby move. My OB was shocked and felt the baby move this week at my appointment. So when I read all the it is impossible comments I just want to say hush you know it alls but instead I just roll my eyes and keep it moving.
Okay guys, I actually have an opinion to share now. 8-}
I find it very disappointing (not to mention offensive) that some of the books I read to my 2 yo daughter use judgmental descriptions to describe physical attributes of the characters in them. Can we seriously think of no better adjectives to teach our children than "pretty" and "ugly"??
On monograms: my mom gave my sister and me names with the same initials for the sole purpose of hand-me-down monograms :-) Welcome to the south! But I do agree that monogramming everything is overkill, especially when you can't donate it.

I've never had anything monogrammed either! Is it because I live in the north? I wouldn't want to dress my kid in monogrammed things anyway - stranger danger! Look at my adorable daughter, her name is (or initials are) foot in the door to steal her away...
My UO is that I despise mayonnaise. I think it is a blight on the world of condiments. I don't even keep it in my house. If DH wants it, he has to go out and buy it or ask for it specifically.

*gasp!!!* How dare you! Mayo is wonderful! It's Miracle Whip that's the blight!
While on the topic of food. Corn is not a food. Can't find a single animal that digests it properly. And it definitely shouldn't be used as a meat replacement in veggie burgers. And this country's system of buying the unbought corn from farmers and burning it is terrible and wasteful. Why not instead give them money to encourage them to look into developing other forms of produce? Then maybe we can sweeten our soda with sugar instead of corn syrup. Grrr...

How is knowing your daughters initials a foot in the door to steal her away? :-/
I don't care how corny Grey's Anatomy gets, it's still one of my favorite shows ever and I'll never stop watching it in all of its predicable, dramatic glory.
Monogrammed stuff seems snobby to me, IDK why, but it does.
Sushi is incredibly disgusting. I don't understand the hype and I think most people that say they like it are trying to be trendy.

Eeeeeeew Miracle Whip, that's all my mom bought when we were young. I refuse to buy anything but real Helmans!

Love Grey's too!! I was traumatized by last season and was going to stop watching but I couldn't resist!

Same here. No mayo in the house. I also hate guacamole.
Yes, I did see her avatar and it made it that much better! I know she got dinged twice for calling me names (proud moment), but I wonder what her other offense was! I bet it was a real gem.
@Snoopylovesbelle it probably isn't, but I can just see a Law and Order episode: Creepy guy: hey little girl, your mom is at security, she told me I should take you to her. Girl: but I don't know you. Creepy guy: she told me to tell you it's ok because no one knows your middle name, but I know your initials are...
Ha - ok it sounds really silly now that I write it... Maybe I need to watch less Law and Order...

Your mom was dedicated to the cause!
