Team green! We found out at 16 weeks with our first and it was awesome but we wanted to experience something a little different this time around. Plus, with our due date around Christmas, it's definitely fitting!
I really envy all you team green mommas!!! I wish I had the patience to wait because I know the surprise must be well worth it! That patience must come in handy with a little one
Team green!!!! There are a few really awesome surprises in this world and I want to use this as my focal point during labor...two more pushes and you'll know PUSH! Haha
Team green for a first time mom and dad:) I wouldn't say it's easy but I honestly think how I would feel if I found out today and man would I be disappointed!!! It just adds so much excitement to the process and even people reactions are awesome right now when they find out we're waiting, everyone is so giddy and trying to put their guesses in! I also agree with pp that on my Labor Day it will be an extra added push ( pun intended lol) to meet the baby !!
Team green and first timer here! I agree that there are so few surprises left in the world and this one is a great one. Hubby is pretty much on board but he has wavered a little after the doctor told us we could find out this past Thursday. We shall see how his resolve holds up.
Team green for the second time here!! I would've found out with my first but my dh didn't and it was the best thing when my son was born, can't wait for that moment again!!
We found out with both of my boys, but we are 95% sure that we're not finding out this time! I've known quite a few people who have been told girl, and we surprised with a boy recently! I figured I'd just wait it out this time.
First time Mom & Dad here, I am the only one that wants to know...so of course I can't keep a secret!! Now we are ALL waiting. So far, so good...we will see if it's this easy later on down the road...!
I go here! FTM and I love surprises so this was a no-brainer for me. DH isn't so thrilled (he's a planner) but wasn't willing to trade "trauma to delicate bits & pieces" (ie giving birth) for the right to determine if we found out or not.
Team Green as of now ..lol I have my next apt July 7 I'm hoping I get my papers for my ultrasound I will be 17 wks .. but I envy all the Team Green moms!!!!!!!
Team Green all the way. Since I am soon to receive results from perinatal testing, I could know the sex as well but asked them not to tell us. I don't want gender assignments inflicted on my child before he or she has even left the womb!
FTM and we're Team Green! DH has two sons, so we're (I'm) hoping for a girl. Either way I can't imagine anything more exciting than finding out on LO's birthday!
Ditto on so many things! Team Green FTM here - wasn't a question for us. Both because life has so few surprises left but also because we actually *don't* want to "genderize" as long as possible. Have any of you noticed how few places offer "neutral" clothing options?!! It's all pink or frilly or navy blue and trucks....ugh.
Yay for surprises and first time parents!! We are waiting too!! And besides the fun of a surprise, we'll get gender neutral gifts and such we can use for future little ones even if they happen to be a different gender :-)

Yes totally!! If I have a girl I hope she doesn't mind wearing blue. I can't see putting something frilly on a little boy (unless that's what he chooses to wear later on and then I will totally support him ) Also everything gender neutral seems to have yellow ducks on it. Ugh!
My wife and I have decided not to find out. It was tough, I really want to know but I love surprises and this will be an amazing one. She was surprised with her first two (both boys) and loved it. I'm thinking this one is a little girl..we'll see! Due Dec 25
FTM and always wanted to be team green (EDD 12/1). I love idea of aggravating people when they ask me what I'm having and all I have to say is a baby ..

It's not patience for me!! I just don't want to know. I have no desire to find out before the baby is here. I'm not a patient person at all. I just don't like the idea of knowing what the baby is before it's born for some reason.
Green for now.... but man it would be nice to get rid of some of these clothes and toys if it is a girl.....

If anyone is looking for a gender neutral nursery idea, I am doing a Woodland Nursery. The main colors will be gray, white and yellow. I think it will end up being serene and beautiful.
I'm team green! First time parents and very excited. :-) the nursery will be gray, yellow and navy - well add pink and or green accents once babe is born (maybe). Our biggest struggle is coming up with two sets of names!

@CArden74 Love the woodland theme. I'm thinking of a travel theme: maps, hot air balloons, airplanes. It may be a tad on the masculine side, but if we have a girl I can find a way to work in some pick. The room we are making the nursery is already gray, I'm thinking of leaving it that color.
Re: TEAM GREEN
Me! I knew with both my girls and DS was a surprise. It was so much fun finding out in the delivery room, that I want to do it again!
