We are currently thinking Daniel James for a boy and Mary Grace for a girl. We will find out gender and at that point come up with another name for that gender. This is our third and we like having 2 names choices picked out to see which fits baby better once we finally meet him/her
I've finally got the boys name ....Kingsley Denard and if its a girl its either going to be Skylar Iyana or Skye Ava. I do believe Im pretty set on these names....Its exciting.
Only took a few days of talking but luckily we like the same names. Can't wait to see our little peanut in one more week. We also have 2 three years old little girls as well. Avery Grace and Hadley Mae.
Girl - Rosemary (no middle name thoughts yet) Boy - John Daniel
We both lost brothers at an early age. His was named John and mine was named Daniel. It seems like a sweet family tribute, and we think it sounds strong, masculine. We need to see how our parents would feel about it, though.
We have been back and forth on girls for a while. We agreed on Hannah but I was not 100% convinced. I really liked Olivia better, but DH wasn't 100% convinced, but he has since conceded. So I think we will be going with Olivia Nicole if it is a girl. My mother and I are both first born daughters and we both have our mothers first name as our middles names, so I'd like to keep that tradition.
For a Boy we are going with Noah Robert. Robert is after my dad, since our last name already honours DH's dad.
There are some very interesting names out there! As a teacher I see and hear so many, but so many become affected by the students I teach. so it makes choosing names more difficult. Some names have been eternally tainted. lol
I'm part Hawaiian, so it's a tradition in my family that we all start with a Hawaiian name but hubby think not haha I have a few in mind that we almost agree on hehe
Girl: Ailani Winy-Ann, Jazmel Kalena Boy: Carter LikiOkalani, Riko Kealii
We have a boy name picked out, Nolan James. DH wants his middle name to be Waitforit, but I vetoed that. Girl names are hard for us. DD wasn't named until 37 weeks, because we couldn't decide.
I have a girl name locked down: Maya Ellen I'm having a hard time with a boy's name. I know the middle name will be Jeffrey. I'm leaning towards Owen, Ethan, or Alexander for a first name.
DS1 is Jakob Shiloh; I picked fn, ex picked mn. DS2 is Christian Michael after DH's BFF that was killed by a drunk driver but not before he saved 3 other lives, moving them from harm's way. DD is Lilah Penelope and if this one is a girl, I don't think I'll ever be able to pick one that compares... it feels impossible to equal, much less top.
We won't find out the sex until the birth, and won't finalize our choice until meeting him/her, but so far:
Boys: (Ryan Riley is the name of DH's Army Ranger BFF, also killed) -Bruce Ryan (Bruce is DH's Gpa, still with us, extremely influential to DH) -Andrew Ryan (nn Drew) -Logan Riley -Marcus Riley (nn Mark, DH is concerned that Marcus is now more pegged as an ethnic name. Thoughts?)
I'm pretty fluid on switching first names and middle names on my girl picks. Genevieve is a (long deceased) family name, if used as a first name nickname would be Evie, then Eva as she gets older (Rachel Weisz as Evie in The Mummy was an awesome intelligent character too). Cordelia would use Cora or Delia as a nickname. Our last name is extremely German and sounds like Stonewall. So far Cordelia, Naomi, Norah, and Logan best echo the sounds in our last name, which people stumble over all.the.time, so I think the echo names would kind of work as a warm-up? Because the last name is a bit harsh, it's important to me that any girl name is distinctly feminine-sounding.
If we have a girl, she's gonna be Marley Andrea If it's a boy, possibly Mason Andrew. My boyfriend is giving me no help with boy names and I'm not compromising on the girl's name lol
Boy: Noah Hayes
Girl: Ellie Rose
Only took a few days of talking but luckily we like the same names. Can't wait to see our little peanut in one more week.
We also have 2 three years old little girls as well. Avery Grace and Hadley Mae.
There is a little girl at my school named Ella Rose.... Sweetest little thing you will ever meet. Everyone at school dies for her... some even call her Ellie. lol - Ellie is just as beautiful, I like the combo with Rose... I bet if your peanut is a girl she will be just as precious. love it!
Girl- Emery Annalynn We found Imree in a book and changed it a little bit. His grandmothers name is Ann and my mom's name is Lynn so I was just playing with them and made Annalynn. Boy- River John My honey's middle name (as well as his great grandfather's) is John and then River is our favorite singer's sons name. We couldn't agree on a boy name so we did a little research haha
Wow, I loved reading all the history and thought put into selecting names! Very sweet.
After many months, even before pregnancy months, I have decided....
Girl:
Caelan Iris
Boy:
Connor or Liam ....hubby wants Duke for middle, I'm not feelin it, but am considering of course.
We have Sutherland Clan lineage and I want to appreciate that familial history, so I was looking into Scott/Welsh/Irish/Gaelic names. Caelan meets all criteria, and is easy to spell compared to traditional spelling in Gaelic. Liam and Connor are traditional and popular Americanized. Our DD #1s name follows this pattern with middle name Rose. I think flowers are beautiful names. I can see others do too!
We found out we are having a little girl and decided on Hannah Alexandra
Me: 30 DH: 31 Married: 2012 BFP #1 Sept 2014, MMC Dec 2014 | BFP #2 May 2015, DD Jan 2016 | BFP #3 May 2017, MC July 2017 | BFP #4 Jan 2018, MC Feb 2018 | BFP #5 July 2018, fingers crossed
Decisions!!! I am leaning towards first name Christopher... I have always loved that name. Middle name will likely be Thomas after my dad (it's his middle name too).
I wanted a strong Greek name and fell in love with Theo. Eric is my hubby's brothers name. We played with having my father's name (lawrence) as the middle but hubby thought it would be more special to save it for a girls middle name because my dad always had a special bond with his daughters.
I love having a name for our little guy, it's so good to hear people say it and make it that much more special.
DH is stuck on John William (his grandpa's name and dads name). I can't get behind John bc it is my ex's name plus I just don't care for it. I would do William (Will) John but can't convince him of it. But then we'd have a Lillian and a William (Lil & Will) which is pretty matchy matchy.
My pick is Westley John but DH is really stuck on John being first name. I have no idea what we'll end up with
Re: What names are on your short list?
If it's a girl, Eleanor Adeline.
If it's a boy, Charles Easton.
My husband's name is Bruce James and I'm dying to name the baby after him if it's a boy, but he won't let me! Grrrr
Penny or Piper for a girl
Girl: Kennedi Claire
Boy: Lyle
Girl: Raigan Nessa
At least for now this is what we have come up with. We have a few others butbthese are my favorite.
My brother gave both their kids 2 middle names. Its cute but they never call them their entire name.
Girl: Ellie Rose
Only took a few days of talking but luckily we like the same names. Can't wait to see our little peanut in one more week.
We also have 2 three years old little girls as well. Avery Grace and Hadley Mae.
Boy - would be named after Daddy: Steven James
We have 2 girls already.
Emma Suzanne Blake
Madelynn Marie
Girl - Rosemary (no middle name thoughts yet)
Boy - John Daniel
We both lost brothers at an early age. His was named John and mine was named Daniel. It seems like a sweet family tribute, and we think it sounds strong, masculine. We need to see how our parents would feel about it, though.
DD - January 2016
Girl: Ailani Winy-Ann, Jazmel Kalena

I'm having a hard time with a boy's name. I know the middle name will be Jeffrey. I'm leaning towards Owen, Ethan, or Alexander for a first name.

Boy- Carter Ryan or Daddies name
If it's a boy, possibly Mason Andrew.
My boyfriend is giving me no help with boy names and I'm not compromising on the girl's name lol
DD - January 2016
I already have 4 boys and don't even consider girls names anymore. My other boys are
Devin Lee
Riley James
Kyler Jakob
Tanner Liam.
We found Imree in a book and changed it a little bit. His grandmothers name is Ann and my mom's name is Lynn so I was just playing with them and made Annalynn.
Boy- River John

Olivia Ray
Grace Charlotte
I'm in love with Sophia Grace but it doesn't flow with our other kids names.
