A new symptom for me at 36 weeks: shooting pain down my groin and inner thigh. Baby must be hitting a nerve because it feels like nerve pain and it only happens rarely while standing. Just another reason to be lazy on the couch. It's funny to watch other people's reaction when it happens.
My BH are getting so annoying. And painful. Labor should be a hoot. I know I have a low pain tolerance but...I'm going to have to stay home so that I don't embarrass myself in front of my coworkers.
The baby has been going absolutely bananas today. All day. Seriously not an hour of rest. Of course in my crazy head I keep thinking its trying to flip breech or something.
TTC: 1/2014

Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
Feel like I'm carrying an elephant in my uterus, who is using my ovaries as punching bags. Going to attempt to have a nice date night.. Dinner and a movie with the hubs... Mad Max anyone?
So so so much pressure, which I never felt with my first, because she was like up in my boobs until they took her out. But this one was always low, and definitely dropped more this week. Now I can't move sitting or standing without legit feeling like she's going to fall out. I go to the doctor Tuesday and I hope she checks me.
Tonight is hub's and my last symphony night of our series, and NONE of my dress shoes will fit. At all. Am I seriously going to have to waste the tickets because I don't have any shoes I can wear? I have like 50 pairs!! Or should I just wear my Birkenstocks and be done with it? That will look ridiculous. This blows; now I'm all pissy on what might turn out to be our last fancy date night before the baby comes. ( Hey, maybe I'll go into labor in the next half hour and avoid the whole thing!
@Frogger5 how about a very simple pair of plain flip flops? That's been my go to, and add extra accessories up top so no one looks down. If you feel up to it you should totally go! Hope you find something you are comfortable in.
@LaurenS119 and @mellymar - I don't have any! Tears! I'll figure something out. I refuse to give in yet (although honestly my water breaking . . . NOW . . . would be awesome )!
I'm 37 weeks today I've been loosing my mucus plug for the past few days. I'm having lots of pressure and some BH. I always have to pee, it's more annoying at night, I usually have to pee at least 4 times. My hips hurt plus my inner thigh bones by my vagina are constantly sore, I'm guessing baby is dropping. I have my next appointment on Tuesday, so I'm hoping my dr will actually check to see if I'm starting to dilate/efface.

I think every doctor is different, but for me, dilation checks began at 38 weeks. Hope this helps!
I found new stretch marks tonight. On my f ing calf........... What. The. Bloody. Hell. Why are my legs and ass covered in stretch marks..... Stomach has nothing. I want to die. I know it's vain and stupid but I show my legs..... I don't show my stomach ever.... So why can't they be on my stomach. This is honestly evil.

I discovered what looks like a linea negra tonight... And not on my belly...

This baby better be soooooo adorable! Lol....... Ppl who can't take a joke.... Don't read my selfish comments! @Westypet I'm sorry about your soreness!!!!!

Contractions are back... yesterday they were exciting because I thought they meant I was going into labor, today they're making me upset because the thought of possibly having to deal with them approximately every 10-15 minutes for the next two weeks and then having to get induced like my mom apparently did with all of us is not fun AT ALL.

Waiting for your "linea negra on my anals?" thread...
Hello insomnia I know that we have been meeting pretty regularly and I just got to say I'm not interested. Wasn't then and certainly not now. My wonderful morning sickness is back with a vengeance as well throwing up 3 out 5 days sucks. Granted before it was everyday until 22 weeks so I did get a mini break. Luckily lo dripped a bit and is now longer on my lungs! But the back pain is awful. My legs and feet are super swollen and now I'm just hanging out watching mad max road warrior. The new one was awesome I thought. Luckily I'm now on bed rest from work so if I sleep now great if not I can take a nap tomorrow

I'm ready for the drugs now!
Best of luck here! Hopefully that crap stops soon.

Hahahahaha not there! Below my belly! I blind-shaved and then was blind-sided when I looked in the mirror by this line appearing.
Maybe @klkonwi 's "stretch mark" is actually the linea negra continuing down her leg... >:D<

Yeah, let's break with family tradition and have none of that!
Migraine started last night, and has continued into the morning. These guys almost completely stopped after my first trimester, and getting one again after being free for so long sucks.

Have you tried a cooling lotion? Mama Mio Lucky Legs from Buy Buy Baby/Amazon seems to help me a little bit with the swollen feet and ankles.
I'm sorry you're getting sick again. MS is terrible.

Oh gods that is a nightmare scenario - having prelabor for days and days. Ugh, so sorry
@mellymar, this is my favorite gif ever! I'm actually feeling pretty good today, other than being pissed I can't sleep. I'm tired of waking up at 6:45. I got in the pool yesterday and it was the best relief! I told DH I was going to stay there for the next 4 weeks. Holy pressure on my Virginia when I got out, though. Apparently I missed a lot of drama yesterday, so I'll just be propped up in bed next to my snoring DH getting caught up.

Thanks for the sympathy, everyone!
Don't want to speak too soon, but they're now averaging at about 5m30s apart. My hospital asks that we call when they're between 4 and 5 minutes apart... so maybe they're real today?!
@karaelaine1991 I would go in if they are averaging 5 min apart!!!! Exciting! Hoping they are real!
@Westypet migraines are the devil. I am SO sorry you have one. If I could share my meds with you I would!
They're back up to 7 I'm hoping they go back down though! I cleaned the apartment, now I'm laying on my side in bed because that seemed to be triggering them last night, and if that doesn't work I'm going to make DH have sex with me lol. If I'm going to have to deal with these, baby's coming out one way or another!
I have fought with them for years and years and pregnancy was a little reprieve! Everyone has always told me that migraines will go away after I have kids. False sense of security! They found me!
I have a few percocet and fioricet pills hanging around here from first trimester, but it's been a while, and I'm concerned about a rebound. Tylenol and Coke it is!
I have officially left the congregation to sit in the truck. I hope Jesus understands. My back is KILLING me today and I have my shower back at church in a little while. Sadly, I hope it's short and sweet because I can't take anymore of this being vertical business. Gravity sucks. Insomnia sucks.
I have a hemmerhoid the size of a large grape on my ass (obviously). It's making life very painful and difficult. I'm actually concerned it may interfere with a vaginal delivery if it doesn't go away soon. Thankfully I see my doctor tomorrow.
My son is very sick with a high fever also and I'm sooooo excited to get it too! It's just what I need! Can't wait.
Anyone else notice the baby 'breathing'? It's definitely not hiccups. I can see a definite slow rising and falling where his back is aligned. I'm not crazy right?
Re: Weekend symptoms!
I'm not sure if it's indigestion or if this baby is attempting to be delivered orally.

My joints in my hands are killing me. Pinching hurts so bad. I don't know any thing that helps other than putting ice on my hands. Ouch.
Relaxin really IS no joke.

@Westypet I'm sorry about your soreness!!!!!
Feet up on the back of the couch, body curled up in a snoogle pillow, blanket making me sweat like a beast.
I can't get my ish together.
Edited: Because words.

It's raining. I wore a white peasant skirt.
