I'm sitting in the main lobby of the hospital. My surgery is scheduled for four but they had me get here at 2 "just in case they can fit me in early." --- can you hear the sarcasm in my voice? Meanwhile my lips are chapped and almost bleeding from so much throwing up last night and not being able to drink anything all day LOL it's been a great day! Seriously though, I figured it was going to be a shitty one anyway. Ha

did you have to do the seaweed sticks the day before- that was the worst for me. i'll be praying for a quick and easy procedure and lots of rest afterwards. whenever you can, let us know you're okay. I'm so sorry you're going through this.

Oh... BTW, the Judge Judy eye roll was for you! What are seaweed sticks? That sounds awful (in my mind.)

I moved up to the Pharesis Unit to wait (where I get my infusions so I adore everyone here.) still feeling nervous and parched but at least I'm not at risk of assaulting the annoying woman who was yacking away on her cellphone or the man eating a dozen doughnuts from Dunkins... I barely eat doughnuts but I'd make an exception. Lol!

@bostonbaby1 for my d&e I had to had my cervix opened the day before. They shoved these seaweed sticks in the cervix and they fill with fluid and expand over 24 hours. I immediately started bleeding and having contractions that lasted until I had the procedure. But then you are given pitosin and have the contractions after that too.
I'm so glad you didn't have to go through that first step! I hope DH gets you all the comforting food you need after.

Hi girls... Just wanted to send a quick update. Things didn't go exactly as planned, but I am okay. Luckily I don't remember anything from the surgery because I had two anesthesiologists. I will update more later but I've gotten several doses of Fentyl and IV Ativan. We are just hoping that my temperature will either come down or definitely not go up any higher.

I'm stable though, just very uncomfortable. I will update when I feel better, hopefully everybody has an awesome night and I might lurk later.

@Embuzz247 girl! I am so glad that you're back! And I know I'm not the only one :-) I'm glad you had fun with DH on vacation!

If you google 'where to put your opinions' it's the first image that comes up. It's a 4 step process... I don't think it's that bad, but maybe it was a nudity thing?

It's just a guess, I don't know for sure that was why. But the opinion she posted after that wasn't offensive at all (I don't remember exactly what it was). But the thread is deleted so that's why I suspect it.

It might be because she's been warned two times about other things so I'm sure this was strike 3. Makes me sad cause she didn't do anything that bad! She deserves support like anyone else. She's been a member since 2011 ffs.
