DS is definitely into hair pulling! Last week he started doing it to the little girls at daycare whenever they would come close to him.
DS always grabs handfuls of DD's hair. Then DD screams and yanks her head away. Then DD screams when she sees her hair in DS' s hand. Fun chain of events there.
In addition to other assorted mommy-directed violence, DD loves to grab my hair really close to the scalp, one hand on each side if my head, and bring my face down to hers for a kiss. So sweet, yet so painful.
DS pulled my hair so hard yesterday I screamed and almost cried and scared the shit out of him and he started crying. You know kid I can't afford to lose anymore hair! Omg it hurt so bad. He does it all the time. Or slaps me across the face that's fun too..
DD has been up since 5am. I tried doing some quiet things with her so she didn't wake DH, he has work this morning but was going to the gym first. Figured that would be nice of me so he could sleep in a little. Well 6:15 rolls around and he is finally up. Turns out he had been up for 15-20 min just laying in bed enjoying some quiet time with himself.....Uh hello!!!! When do I ever get to do that?! Next time I think I'll go plop DD on him and walk away ;-)
DD1 was about this age when she scratched my face and split my mole in 2. Not down the middle in two halfs but across the skin layers, such that it looked like I had two whole moles next to each other. Yeah that hurt! Luckily it went back to normal after a week. DD2 is the gentle baby!

DH is not going to like this. DD started having some sleep issues and DH is really annoyed by it, which in turns pisses me off because god forbid his sleep is interrupted.
On one of the other threads someone said there is a sleep regression around now because they are learning so many new skills. DS was up from 11-1 last night and nothing was wrong, he just wanted to play and explore. He kept rolling around his crib, grabbing the rail, playing with his hands, etc. He didn't settle down until we swaddled him and put him in his swing like we used to do.

DS is also having a two hour awake period lately. He's not grumpy, he's just wide awake usually fron 2-4. I'm hoping that ends soon! I'm tired!
I would've just left DS but he'd work up to screaming if we weren't in the room. It was so frustrating because usually if he's up, which is rare, there is usually an issue we can solve, like he pooped or he's hungry. We tried all that but he was just wired, like sleeping from 7-11 was just supposed to be a nap. And when we'd go in his room, he'd start smiling and laughing. So now I'm at work exhausted and getting a cold.
It's been so cold the pipes to our washing machine have been frozen for a week now. I sent DH out to a friends house yesterday with a load of baby pjs. Looks like the weather this week is continuing cold so no chance of it defrosting any time soon.
DH is sick. He never gets sick and refused to take any medications. Last night he took some NyQuil so I knew it must be bad. I was a good wife when DD woke up at 2:30 and then 5:30 and then 6:30 - I did the diaper changes and nursed her back to sleep so he could keep sleeping. I call to check in on him - he was still asleep! It's 12:30pm! I wonder what that feels like...I wish I was sick and could sleep that long!

DD was up for an hour on Saturday night. I fed her, and afterwards she just wanted to lay in bed and play. We were at my parents, so she was in the bed with me. I've never been hit, kicked, slapped, ticketed ans "kissed" soo much at once. I actually fell back to sleep before she did.
1. You all look awesome in your wedding dresses. 2. I have this face mask on from Lush called Oatifix and it is amazing. I feel like I stuck my face in a bowl of oatmeal cookie batter. 3. Wine. Again. (Maybe this is an issue. ...nah!)
@bazingaa, that's one thing I don't miss about living in Oregon. We used to live in Eugene and had all that U of O stuff on game days. It was annoying especially since DH and I don't watch football X_X
I need to get to a real computer so I can get rid of creepy cat dude in my siggy. At least I'm always mobile so I don't ever have to see him. I feel bad for you guys though.

I've said it before and will say it again... Your siggy creeps me out and I have trouble taking you seriously lol. I strongly vote to change it!
My dog is laying by me and farting like his life depends on it and it's all sulfur. Seriously DH just walked in our room and said BABE! I'm like yeah really if my ass smells like sulfur we have bigger problems.
I went to daycare yesterday and tried to take a picture of my kid with my phone. He scrunched up his nose and gave me a stink face.
So cute!
BTW - I am obsessed with the little chair/table set-up for babes. I mean seriously, I feel like they are on a conference call when I walk in and they are sitting at the table and they are all jabbering.

One of my friends is moving and is getting rid of a lot of her kids' old stuff. She is offering it to all her friends before donating. I'm getting an activity cube, baby gates and clothes for DS through 3t for free. Score!
Ok. This is random. Do you have a rug under your kitchen table? Pics? Our kitchen is big and I need something to kinda make it "homey". Is that weird? I still don't have any wall hangings up. Slacker.
We don't have a rug under our table. Carpet + food is not my idea of a good time.
We moved into our house over two years ago and I still don't have much on the walls either!
I'm with @aimeefarrahfowler on this one. The amount of food that gets thrown or dropped on the floor on a daily basis is unreal. It's gonna be several years before I'd consider a rug under the table. I debated painting some kind of floor cloth for a while, or making something out of oil cloth, but then I remembered I'm the least crafty person ever!

I used to work in customer support and I once had to call someone named Meow. It wasn't spelt that way but that's how it was pronounced, I had trouble staying professional every time I had to say her name.
I weaned DD about 2 weeks ago. Although I miss nursing, it's nice to finally have my body back to myself and even better to not have to wear a bra 24/7!!!

How did you wean? I need to look into this. I currently pump once at work and nurse morning and evening.

Worst part: I've eaten and had caffeine in the form of coffee; I have no excuse.
