A ladybug got in the house, and N has been finding it and chatting with it every time we have been upstairs today. By naptime, it was legs-up dead on the landing. N noticed immediately. FFMC: I lied and told him it was sleeping.
So I took the dog to the vet. It wasn't until I was there that I realized I still had my pj pants on... At 3:00 in the afternoon... At least they are sweat pants, it could have been my tinker bell ones just as easily I suppose... At least I remembered my bra lol
This weekend I tripped on the hem of my sweatpants w a load of laundry and pulled the baby gate
out of the wall. Thank goodness I didn't have the baby in my hands, and
I was going upstairs instead of down. I hoped Mister wouldn't notice. (baby isn't mobile yet, it is just up from when we had Dogzilla).
He noticed within 30 seconds of being home. I screeched "THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT I AM OK. AND YOU KNOW HOW TO FIX DRYWALL". The moral of the story? Capri yoga pants > than full length sweat pants.
@BoothBaby Glad the spotting has stopped. You have my T&Ps that it stays that way.
Meals are patience trying in our house mostly because the 9 year always has something to complain about. Doesn't like the food, its too well done or not crunchy enough, or my personal favorite is I make something like chicken breasts one week and he picks at them then two weeks later he scarfs his helping and complains that I didn't make more. Also the toddler and 9 year old egg each other on and laugh at each other's bad behavior. At least once a week something gets spilled that wouldn't have had the spiller been holding the glass correctly/paying attention/using good manners.
Guise. P has eczema on her butt, a huge rash covering her whole neck, and is spitting up everywhere. It's awful. And I don't know exactly what I did, because I gave up on the 3 day rule over the weekend. (

That reminds me of the time dh had boiled carrots to have with supper. Ds1 made the comment that he doesn't like carrots cooked like that. Since dh and I were newlyweds, dh asked ds1 how he liked his carrots cooked and ds1 responded with "I don't." It took dh a moment to realize that ds1 was saying he prefers raw carrots. ......... and the time dd said she likes " peas and carrots, but not peas and carrots." Meaning she likes them served individually but not mixed.

Meanwhile, I'm rocking A back and forth while standing because laying her down makes her scream bloody murder. And apparently hubs didn't see my "your turn " text i sent 30 min ago. WTH baby?!
I'm hoping teeth. She just got over an ear infection a couple weeks ago. And she said "f* the book, I'm getting my top teeth in first!"
The first tooth already broke through and the second just poked through a day or two ago but the whole edge hasn't cleared, so hopefully it's that. Please dear Lord let it be that and not another ear infection!
Rugby, I'm so sorry, that sounds rough. Maybe he didn't get the message? Hopefully, for his sake...
My husband is sick so he's sleeping on the floor to avoid passing it to me (also, sleeping on the floor helps his back, so he doesn't mind) but he's snoring so loud I want to smother his face.
I use my checking account to pay bills throughout the month and then at the end of the month sweep everything except for $200 into my savings account. Once my money enters savings I very, very rarely take it back out. I'm a total freak about money, especially when I'm pregnant.
Once, when I was pregnant with A, I forgot a check I'd written, so at the beginning of the month we ended up with less than two hundred in our account. J never knows how much money is in our account because I take care of it all, but he knows it would never be less than two hundred, so he spends money without asking or checking the balance on the account.
I didn't want him spend money until my paycheck went in because I sure as hell wasn't taking money out of the savings. I was working still, at the bank we use, and didn't want him to accidentally overdraw our account (even though they would have covered it with the money from savings, you get an angry call from corporate asking why you can't appropriately balance your accounts) but I had nonstop appointments all day so I texted him a heads up of 'Just so you know, we don't have any money right now.' and then tossed my phone into my desk.
Well imagine my incredible embarrassment when I later realized I'd sent the text message to my MOM. So she was pretty much freaking out that her 30 something week pregnant daughter had no money, and also LLOL that it wasn't even a text saying something like, 'Hey we've hit a rough patch, can we borrow some money.' It was so embarrassing. I never discuss my personal money situation with anyone, but I ended up giving my mom a rough run down of what was in our savings and how I manage my checking account just because I was so embarrassed and didn't want her thinking we were totally broke and (very rudely, I might add) asking for a handout from her.
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
The whole point of an ON diaper is because you wake up 100% when I change you. This ON diaper is only possible because you haven't pooped overnight in over two weeks. Why then are you choosing to fill your diapers in the middle of the night for the past two nights now? Please stop and let us all get some sleep.
Sincerely,
Into the 'Up to my elbows in poop' Kitty, aka Mommy

Both boys are sick - like coughing up lungs and stuff. I think it's just a chest cold. While I'm glad that neither has needed antibiotics yet, I really wish there was something I could do to cut the illness short. They just seem so miserable.
Thanks all. Turns out hubs did not have his phone or smart watch on him when i texted so he never got the message. Then he wondered why I never came back down stairs, ha!
We were up every 1.5-2hrs for comfort nursing. She would squirm a bit every time I put her back down like she couldn't get comfy, but would eventually settle. Hubs brought her Tylenol around 3am (p.s - the bubble gum flavor is apparently a big hit!). Didn't help that R decided to wake up in a fit at 4 because her door was closed too much and her feet got uncovered. These kids!
Kudos to you ladies who have 3+ children. Super moms, all of you. Seriously, the last week has made me question wanting a third lol
On the plus side, we got about 2inches of snow last night and it's still snowing, so that makes me happy, especially since it's my WFH day

And @unaveragejane you definitely were missing something from your life without friends. Now you can watch from start to finish!

Friends was terrible, period. There. I said it. I have been holding that in like a fart for so long.
