Imagine you are a single guy that filled his house with expensive electronics and nice furniture . You have decided to host family for Christmas eve. You are slightly terrified that your sisters 6 kids will destroy your house. What foods would you offer/serve to give said kids less ammo to destroy furniture and such?

Hey for those who feel like they're still in the dark... Someone used someone else's address for something, the violated party found out. Now the ban hammer has been dropped. Moral of the story.. Even after 24 months most of us are still strangers, protect your info...

I'm totally guilty of forgetting that I don't know most of you and I have a knack for always thinking of only the best in people I converse with regularly.

This actually came up at a funny time as my SIL used me as a reference for something and bill collectors have been blowing up my phone looking for her acting like I'm going to be responsible. I gave them her # and said good luck, don't call me anymore. ... I never told her she could use me as a reference for anything. I feel violated and I KNOW her.

I can only imagine how the violated party in this case feels.

On the drive back from school p/u DS2 kept repeating "I'm a rock Obama" I asked if he was saying Barack Obama and he said yes. He had his new lego car with him which is actually a spiderman mobile. I said, so Barack Obama is a superhero president and he said yes. He'll be 4 on thursday.

I swear we are not overly promoting the president, I have no idea where he got this. He must have reaaaallllly enjoyed his visit to Washington ABCs and the White House.

This has been my life for months. I don't even keep her shoes in the house anymore. They are all in a pile on the floor of the car because they never stay on her feet long enough. She even manages to pry them off on the less than 5 min drive between the boys' schools.

I know it is winter, but I give. for reals.

@casey78 I totally did this once at the airport too. Fortunately I had a pair of footed pjs with us. So yeah my kid walked around the airport in his pjs. MOTY right there with you!

Add my kid to faction of kids who takes his shoes and socks off on the car. I try to remember to take them off when we get to the car, but sometimes I forget. We've lost a few socks this way.

Grammar question. Today I put in an email "...so both the tracking information and the quantity is incorrect." Then I switched the is to "are." They I switched the sentence completely so I didn't have to decide myself. But which one should it be, since it is 2 singular items?
