My MIL boxed up every toy from the 70s and sent it to us. My parents sent some hand me downs too.

I am thinking a big trip to salvation army is for later this week. A few roys arecool but why pay postage to mail junk across the country? Just take it to the local thrift store already!

Seriously we are talking small wagons and huge plastic record players and stainless steel skillets! I am all about reuse and recycle, but they just spent as much on postage as they would've to buy one or two nice new things. (For themselves is fine--we don't need this stuff!)

Finally caught up. Would read a page and two more would appear.

Had a good mental health day and am ready for vacation to start in a week.

Totally starfishing the bed until DH comes to bed... It's his own fault that he stays up playing video games.

DH used to twirl his fingers in his moms hair to the point they would get stuck.  He did this on purpose so she couldnt leave his bed.  

I should add he was like 6

My (generally very nice) FIL said the other day, "I just think kids are happier when they have as many toys as they want." And he wasn't being ironic at all. #uphillbattleisright

I have one under my ear kind of on my neck. I refer to it as my power button.
