@mamrotu73‌ Same here. I don't necessarily like something against my face, but I like my ear to be covered. I like to turn back and forth from side to side until I get comfy, so I knew bed sharing wouldn't work for us because of that. I would never get any quality sleep!

Love all the Christmas baby pictures! I tried some with my phone, major pinterest fail. I then convinced my SIL who is into photography to come try. But she could only come in the evening and both kids wete pain in the ass' at that point so not sure she got anything workable.

I've just got to AW my kick-ass beastie: he handles needles better than I do! He didn't even bat an eye at his flu shot, and mere seconds later was smiling and jumping for the pretty nurses. Way tougher than his mom lol

Brother 1500s is a great one that is industrial but portable. Janome hd1000 is a more reasonably priced but still really good.

Broke my moms good Singer and a cheap $30 thrift store Simplicity machine. I need to break down and take my Black Singer to a repair shop and have it over hauled...I have no idea what that will cost. Found an industrial machine on Craig's list for $850. Probably cheaper to have my old machine fixed.

I had a great day! My mommy group met for our book club and then it was mom's night out. So fun!! While I was gone this evening, DH was having a rough time with DS, who wouldn't take a bottle and was crying while being held. So DH put him in the crib because he was getting frustrated and after about 10 minutes, DS put himself to sleep for the first time EVER!! What?!? I hope this is the start of something new [-O< because I'm tired of the hours of bedtime routine.

So upset I didn't fork out the extra few bucks to get the Ergo 360 that was on prime. Now I have to either use the ktan, stroller, or carry my baby at the parade. Neither option seems appealing especially.

I'm not a gun expert, per se, but I feel the need to chime in on this. If you're firing an average handgun (and not a Desert Eagle or something), and handling it properly, then the force of the recoil shouldn't drive your hands toward you, they should do a little vertical hop. So if you lived in a terrible neighborhood and carried concealed, you COULD theoretically shoot with baby in front of you. Being hell on their ears aside, though, I wouldn't recommend it unless you had no other choice.

Oh goodness, looks like I'm going to have to read back to see what prompted this!

I wouldn't go out to the range wearing baby or anything obviously, but I absolutely carry during day-to-day business, including while wearing him (though I do alter my set-up slightly). The only danger to baby if I were to have to shoot would be to his (and my) ears, and I wouldn't be taking any difficult shots because he might throw my aim off slightly.

That said, the only reason I would ever ever be shooting while wearing him would be if our lives were in immediate danger. So yeah, flame away.

I have asked DH to buy tp the past 3 days and he still hasn't. We are down to one roll. Looks like I'll be at the store, too.

Hide the TP. Later when he's stuck on the pot, jokingly come in and inform him you are making the move to family cloth and hand him a rag. I garuntee he will go buy TP.
