    I'm really jealous of people who can sing well because I so love music and love to sing along but it sounds horrid. I just wish I could sound the way I feel about it.


    Me too!  I love to sing and I wish I was actually really good at it.  I mean, I can carry a tune and it's not that bad, but I wanna be awesome. Not gonna happen, haha.  Also, the whole ability to perform thing..

    The real reason is because it goes over their head easier (without having to stretch the neck out or hurt baby). But it can be good for blowouts, too!

    I'm in the blowout camp. LO usually waits till we are out and about with no changing table in sight to have a massive blowout! We were at the mall recently and he had a blowout then once cleaned up he peed all over me then fast forward an hour later, he puked all over me in the carrier. :-q

    Emma's poops are always like this. We get like 5 poops a day. Some small, some massive, all of them are accompanied by a nuclear bomb type wet fart.

    slippintrippn84  I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. Goodness, that's scary.

    I keep several changes of clothes for LO in the diaper bag and one for me in the car. Blowouts and major spit-ups happen a lot- my kid is a poop machine and tends to overeat (I thought BF babies didn't do that??). It's come in handy quite often to have those changes available!

    I know someone this same thing happened to recently. Hes super active. Thats really hard and Im sorry your brother went through it. Ur not from NY/nj by any chance? eta I love this thread. I was like 100 posts behind but so worth it to catch up!
    Nope, we're in Central VA.
    A couple months ago we lost someone from our office. He was also a super fit guy who apparently had an underlying heart condition that took him while he was out playing football with some pals.
    Seems to happen more often than you think it would.

    @IceHide61313‌ totally get the fear. My senior year of highschool we lived in a really old house that used to use a wood stove for heat. Well birds would fly down the old pipe and end up in the house some how and fly crazy around the house. Terrifying when home alone.

    My dad was going to leave me to die one night. We amazingly never had bats but one night I woke up to swooping. I yelled for him to get it and he comes into my room and ya know what he says? "It's just a bird." Um, no. Birds don't do what I just experienced unless they are red winged blackbirds. Thankfully, dh (boyfriend at the time) lived 5 min away. I got up and left in the middle of the night.
