I'm really jealous of people who can sing well because I so love music and love to sing along but it sounds horrid. I just wish I could sound the way I feel about it.
Me too! I love to sing and I wish I was actually really good at it. I mean, I can carry a tune and it's not that bad, but I wanna be awesome. Not gonna happen, haha. Also, the whole ability to perform thing..

My LO hasn't pooped in 2 days. I know it is fine, but he has been farting all day and it smells worse than dog farts. I'm not looking forward to the blow out that I am sure will happen.
My LO poops about 5 times a day. I can't decide if that's better or worse than you ladies that get days between when your LO goes but then have to deal with a massive blowout. Poop. It's just so fascinating
I'm in the blowout camp. LO usually waits till we are out and about with no changing table in sight to have a massive blowout! We were at the mall recently and he had a blowout then once cleaned up he peed all over me then fast forward an hour later, he puked all over me in the carrier. :-q
Why on earth did I just take the biggest whiff of ammonia because "I forgot what it smells like" ????? :-/ It is safe to say my nose will be clean for an entire year.
Camp poop- Sage has been doing these little more than wet farts for a few days. I've been waiting for the major poop but it's just been small and medium. Once we start eating more than lunch meat and random things people bring over, we'll both poop better.
Emma's poops are always like this. We get like 5 poops a day. Some small, some massive, all of them are accompanied by a nuclear bomb type wet fart.

I read this as "Camo poop." Can you imagine camo poop?!
slippintrippn84 I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. Goodness, that's scary.
I keep several changes of clothes for LO in the diaper bag and one for me in the car. Blowouts and major spit-ups happen a lot- my kid is a poop machine and tends to overeat (I thought BF babies didn't do that??). It's come in handy quite often to have those changes available!
I've been off the grid for the most part for the past week or so. Work has been a raging relentless beyotch and my older brother was hospitalized over the weekend from a pulmonary embolism. He's only 33 and is a really active guy. Apparently he had a blood clot that traveled up his leg, made it through his heart and landed in his lungs. He's being monitored closely to be sure that no other clots are caught floating around. It's crazy that it happened to someone like him who is so young and so healthy. Thank goodness he listened to his body and that it didn't stop up his heart or make it to his brain. My family has been taking shifts checking in on him and helping him with household stuff till he is in the clear. It really made DH and I do a reality check about our current health, benefits, and estate planning. Sorry so somber. It's just one of those things you don't want to think about but need to have a plan for.
I know someone this same thing happened to recently. Hes super active. Thats really hard and Im sorry your brother went through it. Ur not from NY/nj by any chance?
eta I love this thread. I was like 100 posts behind but so worth it to catch up!
Nope, we're in Central VA. A couple months ago we lost someone from our office. He was also a super fit guy who apparently had an underlying heart condition that took him while he was out playing football with some pals. Seems to happen more often than you think it would.
I million times yes! I fucking love the golden girls!
Also a convention would be awesome! Although I'd be the awkward one who just sits, drinks, and stares. I'm the worst conversationalist unless it is my very close family.
Lastly, I'm going to die tonight. There is a bat in our wall. DH is laughing at my paranoia of it coming out.
@IceHide61313 totally get the fear. My senior year of highschool we lived in a really old house that used to use a wood stove for heat. Well birds would fly down the old pipe and end up in the house some how and fly crazy around the house. Terrifying when home alone.

My dad was going to leave me to die one night. We amazingly never had bats but one night I woke up to swooping. I yelled for him to get it and he comes into my room and ya know what he says? "It's just a bird." Um, no. Birds don't do what I just experienced unless they are red winged blackbirds. Thankfully, dh (boyfriend at the time) lived 5 min away. I got up and left in the middle of the night.
Well.. Here we go...boarded our flight to the states and LO has already puked on me 3 times. I'm guessing the stress and moving has his stomach upset. Wish us luck for a peaceful 8 hours!
