Currently sitting in my work parking lot, crying, trying to get myself to walk inside. I hate this so much. I love my job, but I love my daughter more.

I have all the feels for you. I am right there with you. Take it just one day at a time. I've been doing it for going on 3 weeks and it hasn't gotten any easier. LO's Pedi told me to talk to my doc about PPA. Don't know if that's something for you to consider, but definitely go talk to someone if it gets paralyzing.
Totally random - but I have to get this out. My partner at work is a good guy and he has a good heart, but he doesn't have a clue about parenting. Things he told me yesterday:
1) I should just let DD2 cry it out (at 3 months), eventually she will get so tired and pass out
2) I should give DD2 formula and quit breastfeeding because then she will sleep through the night.
3) He is not at all concerned that his 2 year old son will not eat solid foods. As in, will not even put the food (any food) in his mouth. He lives on bottles of formula only. But he hasn't talked to the dr. about this. (This is also the same guy whose daughter didn't walk until she was almost 2, and when the dr. told him to put her in therapy he thought it wasn't necessary because some kids are just late walkers). Also when his daughter was a baby she was sooo giant that the dr. told them to watch how much formula they were giving her (she weighed like 35 lbs at 9 months, anytime that kid cried they just shoved a bottle in her mouth) - but he ignored that advice too. And now his 3 1/2 yr old daughter still gets a bottle of formula before going to bed.
There is so much wrong with his parenting skills that I just don't even know what or if I should say anything. I usually just stare at him dumbfounded and then mumble something about how he should talk to their pediatrician.
No he doesn't even eat baby food. They said they try but he refuses to open his mouth and put anything in but the bottle! I know, I was shocked when he told me!
I've heard some babies have actual developmental problems like this, but they can usually be corrected by some therapy...however that would mean talking to the pedi about it!
Ugh thats makes me upset. Those poor babies. I would call the pediatrician on him and see what they say. I don't know. I just worry about his kids. I'm all for do your own thing but that situation doesn't seem healthy.
So my hubs is sick with a sore throat. He went to the doctor they said he doesn't have strep but are gonna treat it like he does....ok. He also has a small patch about four red bumps on his upper arm on the right side. He had something similiar a few weeks back on his left shoulder. We we're told then it was shingles. No pain, no itching, no blistering they came and went. Now he was told again that this is shingles. He asked the PA is he to expect recurring episodes of this and she said yes....ok. Everything I've research contradicts her diagnosis. However if it is in fact shingles then I'm pretty worried about whats goin on. Its rare to get it a second time and usually only with those who have compromised immune systems. So for her to say expect it to be a recurring, I wanna know why. Especially since its unheard of. I'm stressin out!! This mean he has to distance himself again from Leo. We made an appointment with a dermatologist tomorrow so hopefully we'll have a better understanding of whats going on. Please send some extra T&P our way.
T&P @lappyfoinker. It sounds to me the dr. might not really know what she is talking about, so hopefully you get much better news at the dermatologist.
LO is going through a growth spurt or something because these past 3 days have been rough... (He does STTN anyways but it's been particularly rough now) .... I'm a SAHM so I try and do most of the night time things even though DH insists on helping... Well last night I told him to take daddy duty and take one of the many feelings so I can get a little more than 1 - 1/2 hr stetch... He did, and when he woke up today he persisted on complainig about "how tired he was" from feeding lO and putting him down at2 am!! He literally bitched all day and is bitching still about how he needs a nap
Don't get me wrong, DH is amazing and a wonderful partner and father but OMG with you plz STFU with how tired you are! I was able to get LO and myself ready while you complained... ugH... mEN!
@lappyfoinker I have a 24year old friend who has gotten them a couple times already because she was really stressed out. Not unheard of to get them repeatedly.
And he just went to sleep at 8pm, leaving me to bath LO and put him to bed becuAe he's SO tired...WOW! I wonder how we do it everyday and truck along...yea we Complain here and there but come on lol

Hope all works out and it's nothing serious! T&Ps for your fam!
Currently enjoying Pringles and the breakfast club wondering why I'm awake when both kids are sleeping? Missing out on good sleep stretch but I really enjoy this movie.
Anyone wanna come baby sit for a few hours?? DS is going through the 3 month growth spurt a little early, and all he does is eat, sleep, and fuss. I need a glass of wine and a tub of ice cream.

There's a 3 month growth spurt? Is that a wonder week thing or separate? I can't keep track! LO is 3 months tomorrow and has been acting the same way so this would explain it. I feel better now... I was worried about him!

From what I've read on here, there is a leap and a growth spurt around the 12week/3month mark.

----------- Yes, 2-3 weeks, 4-6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months is what I read on Kellymom. DS just turned 11 weeks. I'm not sure it's a wonder week thing, but I'm assuming our is physical because of all the sleeping, which is when they grow the most. I am hoping soooo bad he sleep well tonight, he woke up every 2-3 hours last night which we're sooooo not used to.
Randomness: every time i hook up to the pump i feel like crying. Im not sad to pump or anything. I think its either hormone related or catholic school guilt that ill be on my couch w my boobs exposed for the next 20 minutes. edit: spelling
That damn Catholic school guilt is gonna haunt us for the rest of our lives. Damn nuns.
