@mom2boxers‌ I'd be annoyed! Can you ask why they think LO needs more? Is he fussing seeing other kids eat? Or maybe he's in a class with more, older babies who are eating more food? It sounds like you're doing just right for him but I'd definitely ask why they are drawing that conclusion.... And so rudely!

Anybody use the iPhone version of Duolingo who can help me get the damn app to obey me?

I choose "Get Started" and it tells me to pick a course. So I hit Japanese, and it tells me that it'll change the UI to Japanese and I should only pick that if I already know Japanese. No, I don't bloody know Japanese, that's what I got your damn app for, and I don't want the UI changed because it's not going to benefit me to have it in Japanese if I can't read what the fuck I'm doing. And there's no English course option for me to choose. Bwuh?? O.o;;

I just saw an amazing looking recipe. They were pears with the centers hollowed out, wrapped in a pastry dough, baked, and then stuffed with brie. I would dip crackers in there all day long. yummm

Baked Brie always seems like a better idea in theory than in reality. It always turns into a congealed, oily mess.

Good morning! Just catching up.

I had a concert last night and it was the longest I've been away from DS. DH got him to sleep in the crib for the first time AND he slept until 6 am. Apparently dad has the magic touch and should do bedtime all the time if it means he STTN!!

My favorite way to do baked brie is to put it in an oven safe dish and then top it with a mixture of brown sugar, chopped pecans, and bourbon, so it makes like a paste, then bake until the topping is all bubbling and gooey. It is fantastic!

You could always sub apple juice for the bourbon, but.....why?

I hate it when Jack has a random night/day where he deviates from his normal routine. He crashed out at 5:30 last night, then got up to eat at 1 am and now we've been up since 4 am. I'm so fucking tired. Trying to keep him and the dogs from waking up DH who has been working 9 am to 1/3/5 am every day with zero days off for several weeks now. And I'll get zero sympathy from DH about being tired. So...

Should I wait in case Jack goes back down eventually or make coffee?

Oh and it's because of lunch with you that I checked out local daycare/babysitting services offered by the government, because you mentioned it at lunch. I brought Q and he did awesome, the lady said she couldn't believe how easy-going he was. (He was the only kid there, ha!) it cost me less than $8 for 2 hours. So now I'm going to bring him once a week, so I can either come home and get some mega-cleaning done with the tunes cranked or treat myself to a massage or pedicure.

I'm glad you found one! As much as I'm glad I can stay home with the baby now it's nice to get some baby free time. Also good for them, won't be such a shock when we do have to go back to work and they have to go to daycare.

Getting LO to sleep in her crib is going to be a long battle, but after struggling to get her to sleep, she slept almost 7.5 hours in the RNP. I still count it as a win.

I put her down in the crib around 8:45 and was amazed she actually slept in there for about 45 mins. Then DH got her back to sleep and down in the crib again, but it didn't last very long, and after struggling to get her to sleep in there, I finally gave up.

Just got back from our cruise. I HIGHLY recommend a Disney cruise. Savannah had the best time and they treated her like a princess all week.
