@megsw85 - it's municipal, since your road gets done there probably isn't anything to do, but I know when we lived in town we lived on a loop street that only saw local traffic (about 20 houses) . Our road was near the bottom of the town's priority list so they would do the ambulance and school routes, then start some residential, then it would snow again and ours never got touched. I had to complain frequently to basically encourage them to change up the route after the schools/ambulance routes got done so that everyone might have a chance to see their road plowed more than once a winter. Our town is ridiculously cheap though. Realistically they should just have a few more graders on standby for big snowfalls. Now that we live in the county its a million times better
I guess I spoke too soon earlier. It is now snowing, and accumulating. Fuck. I knew Tyson should have taken the trampoline down last weekend when he had the time.
Has anyone used the Sili Squeeze pouches? I saw them on baby steals a while ago so figured I'd give them a shot at more than 50% off. It's wonderful! M is walking around sucking her yogurt out of it. Zero mess. This is going to be great for the car!!
@megsw85 my dad does the same thing, and screenshots of his Weather Network app showing amazing temps when it's gorgeous there and miserable here. He's SW of Montreal.
Guys- I am about three sips in to some tequila drink- first date night in forever- and I am tanked. Slurring my words tanked . If it weren't for auto correct, this post would make no sense.
Clemson, SC. if she wants to talk to someone PM me and I will pass along my sister's email. She graduated with a genetics degree a couple years ago and is getting her masters at UT at Houston and is applying at crazy good places for her doctorate
^^ a giant waste of money. H that studies radiation and the like says that in order for anything to be effective it would have to be a whole body suit. Which doesn't even begin to cover whether this is actually something even worth bothering with.
ETA: DH has been checking out the product website and just can't get over the dumb.
One of my friends from hs just announced she's 9 weeks pregnant. Her daughter just turned 3 months like two days ago...
I'm 99% sure at 3 months I still wasn't letting DH anywhere near me.
Wait wait wait...if she's 9 weeks pg, her baby is 12 weeks old means they Dtd at 3 weeks pp??? Is that right?! Eww and hell to no did I let dh anywhere near me that soon. I didn't even get cleared till my 8 week check up and that didn't even happen for a while after that.
9 weeks really means 7 weeks since DTD, so she was 5 weeks PP. Still insane. Wait since she obviously never had a PP period, how would she even know she's 9 weeks?
Oh - can somebody explain snap chat to me? Is it just like instagram but with funny captions on it? Ooooor what? A merge of instagram and twitter?
It's for dick pics mostly. You can send a picture and then it goes away after 10 seconds (unless someone takes a screen shot).
Yep, basically a way for people to do things they shouldn't without getting caught. Or if you're my sister, send ridiculous pictures to your friends lol
I left DH alone with KJ all day today (I had a work thing then a 3 hour lunch with a friend - we had a great time talking) and he called me around 4pm asking me to rush home so he could go out. Our plan was for me to get home by 3 and he would leave by 5:30. I got home around 4:30 and he left 10 minutes later. He couldn't wait to get out and he was pissed at me for staying out so long. He would barely talk to me. I pulled it out of him that KJ didn't nap today and she wouldn't take any cough medicine. As soon as I picked her up she took the cough medicine from me. I guess mommy has a special touch. Then since he didn't take her out I decided to take a chance and take her to Chickfila for dinner and play time. She was a little nervous about playing with the bigger kids but they were so sweet to her and she had fun. We had a great evening
@vitafelix - I hope your LO gets better soon. Don't feel like a bad mom. That's why you have your DH to fill in the gaps. It's great that he suggested going to the doctor. My DH often suggests things I wouldn't think of. You are both good partners and parents!
The neighbors are playing extremely loud music right outside of Grayson's window and it's starting to wake him up. I just sent Alex over there to ask them to keep it down. I am not happy.
My husband came home and walked through the door loudly talking on his cell about a work related thing. Baby woke up. Thanks, dude. Luckily it only took a little back rubbing and soothing for me to get her back to sleep. Meanwhile, he's still making all kinds of noise. I don't think he even realizes that he woke her up.
B slept through his first overnight nebulizer treatment. He woke up for the second one and is all hyped up. An hour later, he's still in his crib and seems to be starting to wind down. Why am I such a directions-follower? Who wakes a kid up to pump them full of steroids?!
@mcbush, as his cough improves I'm supposed to wean him off. The nurse said that I could probably skip the 2am if he was sounding better, but I wasn't confident. Her directions were very subjective. Every 4 hours for a day or two or until he sounds better, then every 6 hours, and then every 12 hours for a day after his cough is gone, and then once more on the following day.
He was up until 430 asking to get out of his crib and go downstairs.
Oooowwwwww...my head is pounding from all the drinking, screaming in the stadium and more drinking. Ready to see my baby girl! Have to fly to WA tonight....I don't like that I will be away from her for 3 more nights. ..I now hate traveling for work
After a magical day of wonderful sleep yesterday LO decided he was so well rested that 4am was a perfectly acceptable wake up time this morning. I've spent the last several hours lying on his floor bed while he repeatedly takes apart everything in his room. I'm worried for his sleep today - I have no idea what to expect!
@mcbush I've been buying fruit on sale (eta at Aldi's) and freezing. Mainly berries and bananas. I blend with vanilla Greek yogurt and some milk or chocolate milk to thin out. I make them in big batches on the weekend and freeze in bags for B and me.
@mcbush I usually just buy the store brand at my local grocery store. It is a little cheaper if you get it somewhere like Costco, but I never have that much space in my fridge. Also, I can sort of customize what we get with smaller bags- we go through more blueberries than anything else.

I have been looking for a new siggy gif and in the process gone down a Chris Pine spiral. It's official, I'm leaving my husband for him...
