@katydid2014 Glad to hear you're starting to feel better!
@peledreamsofrain Oh no! I'm so sorry about your boss. I vaguely remember you mentioning something previously about being worried she was going to take the fall for something. Not sure if I'm remembering that correctly, but I'm so sorry this happened to her.
Yeah. I owe her a lot, because she saved my career from an evil ex boss. I feel like a failure that I couldn't return the favor.
@PeleDreamsofRain - That sucks so much. Maybe you can offer to be a reference in her job hunt?
@wendyld I'm am so sorry, glad you stopped in to say hi though.
@katydid2014 Thanks! We are moving to Germany from OK. Oklahoma isn't so bad, but it was a big change from always having been stationed near the coasts. Hope you have a smooth PCS in the summer!
Not sure if there is an appointment thread for this week, if there is I missed it. So for now I am going to post here, just got home from a regular CNM appt. She said everything looked good on the a/s and my weight and measurements are on track for 23 weeks. Glucose test at my next appointment in a month then 2 week appointments. Can't believe how fast the time is going!
Hope everyone else has good appointments today as well!
Thank you @BitsyBelle84 just saw the midwife (one that I love) and he was awesome, wrote me for some abx and I'm waiting to pick those up now. FX it helps quickly.
@wendyld hugs to you. So sorry for your loss. Praying for your rainbow baby!
I just found out my new boss is also pregnant and due in March. I know shes none of you lovely ladies on the randoms(unless one of you is holding out the good news that you started a new job), but I cant help but wonder if she lurking around here somewhere. Haha @-) [-X
I haven't really been feeling LO move much these last few days, and I was starting to miss those movements. Out of nowhere, he just started kicking - hard! I love this little guy so much!
I had my chiropractor appointment today. I was nervous and wanted to back out after they told me what they were going to do to me (adjustments, metal tools on my back, electrodes on my spine, medical massage... gah!) but I went forward with it since insurance is pretty much paying for everything. The adjustments actually felt really good and I'm looking forward to tomorrow's appointment already.
I recommend any ladies with sciatica or PGD seek the help of a chiropractor. They said they can keep my spine, pelvis, and hips in good shape until the baby's born which is what I wanted. I just want to feel good the rest of my pregnancy. It's been getting progressively worse so I'm glad I sought out some help.

@kcbizme If I don't feel baby boy for a little while then I will start pushing gently in the middle of my stomach and he will usually start kicking back. Definitely makes me instantly feel better to feel those little kicks!
Ha @katydid2014 I was doing this the other night and my H was all "leave her alone!" Haha.
@FrecklesInside GL on your interview! You are awesome for sticking with this, and obviously they see it, too, since you've gotten this far. You got this, lady!
@wendyld I am so sorry for your loss. ((hugs)) Thanks for stopping in to say hi; you've been missed!
@mwerren I'm sorry your doctor is making you stress about your A/S. I'm also AMA and overweight, and LO looked perfect at our A/S and the followup. Shame on them for making you worry.
GL to everyone with their A/S or appointments today!
AFM, I skipped the Halloween candy and went straight for Easter. Just got back from the store with a bag of jelly beans. I really wanted Jelly Belly, but haven't bought any since finding out the owner donated thousands to an anti-transgender campaign. So, yeah, fuck that guy.
Also, it needs to be Wednesday. D is taking me out to Melting Pot for my birthday, and I can't wait to stuff my face hole with ALL OF THE FONDUE.
I just got back from seeing my OB. Everything looks good. I'm measuring right on track for 23w and LO was being ornery when they were using the doppler. My OB commented that baby is super active. Glucose test scheduled for next month, and then I go to every 2 weeks.... how crazy is that?
Hugs to everyone who needs them today!
You start going every 2 weeks at 27 weeks? That seems very early to start going every 2 weeks. I guess my last pregnancy was low risk and this one has been fine so far too so maybe that is why I didn't start going every 2 weeks until about week 32 or 34. When I first read that I got scared though, I hate driving to my dr and I am not looking forward to those bimonthly or weekly appointments.

I'm low risk and start going every 2 weeks at 28, then every week at 36.
@CoozieInMyPurse what's the RSVP date? I wouldn't call until after that date.
@wendyld I'm sorry for your loss. Fx for successful baby making!
@FrecklesInside good luck with your interview and photo shoot outfit shopping. I hate shopping when I have to, blah.
So much going on with everyone today, it's hard to remember all the things. Sorry to everyone who's feeling like crap. Fx for speedy recoveries. And good luck to all the relocaters!!
We spent the day at the zoo today, and it was so much fun. I'm getting very emotional about my son turning 2 in 2 weeks. I love how big and smart he's getting, but it's so bittersweet.
As I was stuffing my face with Duchess, I was giddy with the thought of my Halloween candy at home. Part of me can't wait til it's gone. But I know I'll miss my stash.
Feeling baby move so much today and I love it. usually LO is quiet during the day, and super active at night, so it's nice to feel it all the time now. OB appt on Thurs, and A/S on Friday... Do I get to see LO 2 days in a row?!?!
@cabauer9 Hmmm...Maybe I just have blocked that out of my mind already. Maybe I did start going bimonthly earlier than I am thinking. I really didn't think I did until I was at least past 30 weeks. I do not want to start going bi monthly. I really hate missing work.
Another random: my cat keeps sniffing my boobs, specifically my nipples, and then she opens her mouth in kind of a sneer. It's hilarious and disturbing all at once. I think she smells my hormones and preliminary milk production.

LOL H yells at me too he's like don't wake him up!! It's so cute/funny.
Also someone mentioned above the 2 week appts starting next month-- I had that realization the other day and holy crap dude, third tri is right around the corner. How?!?
I am seriously going to start taking notes when I read the randoms so I know who to offer specific support to. I feel like a jerk for never being able to remember anything by the time I post. *sigh* *hugs* for anyone who needs/wants one.
Afm, my weekend was super busy, and now my DH is sick with a cold that is kicking his butt. Part of the busy-ness was my a/s, at which we found out we are having a girl! Yay! Also, I have a very active baby. She refused to hold still for longer than a ten second span throughout the entire appointment. We almost couldn't get all the pics we needed.

I didn't include an RSVP date on the invite. I did realize after I posted this morning that I had today's date wrong. The party is in three weeks, so I think we will start gently nudging people the weekend before. So I have nearly two weeks to get more RSVPs in. I'm crossing my fingers.
AFM we had a busy weekend and I'm just catching up. We got married yesterday Once I get the pictures I'll post one if us with my now SS because he was too damn cute! He wanted to pick out his outfit for the wedding, he chose a shirt, pants, vest & tie...so freakin adorable.
After the ceremony (it was just our immediate family) everyone came back to the house to eat & relax. We told everyone we're having a girl. My H wanted to do something different than a reveal with cake so he carved this pumpkin instead and we ate pumpkin rolls.
@wendyld I'm sorry to hear about your loss but am glad you said hi to your group and GL on a BFP real soon!
@Peledreamsofrain I hear ya on the corporate morale. There's no use in trying to achieve anything good if you don't have the appropriate top down mgmt to encourage and reward it. It's really an elaborate and passive aggressive way way to control masses
To everyone else I missed- sorry- I did read it all but I'm totally forgetful.
My random is that it's SO's birthday today and we tried new food- Jamaican! It was yum but very spicy and a LOT of food. That coupled with day 1 of miralax and tmrw may not be so fun :P gah I'm a ball of TMI lately aren't i? Sorry
I can't get a service repair dude out to take care of our heater for a few days. So tonight I am heating the main living spaces with my stove. I feel rather smug with myself.
I had a routine OB appointment and since I had high BP yet again, I have to do a 24 hour urine catch. No protein in my sample today which is good but OB wants to err on the side of caution. Should be interesting to see how I do it at work tomorrow.
@chaysefaith yay for your so feeling movement! @chilibeansm0m congrats on your boy! Today has been such a crazy rough day. Car wouldn't start this morning so I got into work late, got a curve ball thrown for our refinance. It's much better now that I got things figured out but I was so stressed out earlier. In other news, my dh and I finally picked a name for our new lo. And I started crying because it was so perfect. I feel so much better now that she has a name
@katydid2014 Henry to Hank is a weird jump.I've heard of Henry being called Harry, but that's a British thing... I would just correct people in the mean time. And when Henry is old enough he can correct them too. Unless he wants to be called Hank...
It's amazing though. H and I have thought hard about names people can't abbreviate for this reason, and they somehow find weird ways to...
@katydid2014 I don't have any experience but people calling my son something other than what I named him would irk me too.
@peledreamsofrain Be careful heating your house with your stove if it runs on gas, due to the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. Sorry the repair man won't come out sooner. Hope you are able to stay warm.

Thanks, but I WISH I had a gas stove. Essentially it was just a big ol electric heater for an hour and a half. I is so warm and snuggly right now. I can even feel my toes again!
@RQuinlin that is too funny! At least you're stocked up on kitty litter now!
@stepherly Congrats!!! Glad everything went well this weekend, can't wait to see pics! Absolutely LOVE the pumpkin reveal, so cute!! Congrats on baby girl
Wow @mel7806 how old is your daughter? My friend is having similar issues with her tween daughter. I can't believe how different things are now from when we were their age. Social media has such a huge effect on everything these days.
Re: Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn (random)
@Wendyld - I'm sorry to hear your news. Hugs....
@FrecklesInside - Good luck with the interview today! I hope you figure out the answers to all your questions about whether to take the job or not.
@BitsyBelle84 - No advice, but how exciting!
I hope everyone feeling crappy starts to feel better today!

Yeah, I am just a minion so I don't have connections, but I will offer to write her a reference letter if she would like it.
Sorry for your loss, @Wendyld - thinking of you!

@katydid2014 Glad you're on the road to recovery.
@wendyld I am sorry for your loss.
@stepherly Congratulations to you both and love the pumpkin reveal!
We had our A/S today. It felt like it went by fast! We feel really grateful as she looks perfectly healthy and quite wiggly in there.
Add me to team pink, M15 Mamas. Who run the world? GIRLS.
Also, I'm all kinds of weepy the last few days. Wtf. It's not PMS time yet.

@stepherly congrats!
All I have to say is we pulled out the electric blanket tonight and there is a preheat setting for the bed. It's wonderful. Good night.
