I'm on mobile and can't tell what it is until I click on the picture and enlarge it. When it's little I have no clue. I also think it's very well done, @SarahL2P!
So we're trying to transition DS from the MM suit to a sleep sack. Last night was rough. He was only doing 1 bottle at 5am, but last night he woke at 9, 12, 2, and 5:30. I hope things get better.
For those that sign do you use "official" signs or just whatever? Is it too late to start?
C woke up Super early this morning and now fell asleep during her usual 7 Am-ish nursing session. Scared to put her down as she normally wakes up if she falls asleep nursing during nap time! Good thing I don't have anything going on for work today!!!!!
Something must be in the air. LO never wakes up at night before 4am. Last night she was wide awake around 11:00. She watched Jimmy Kimmel and went back to sleep around 12:00. Now she's taking her 9:00 nap at 7:30.
Maybe the babies are just super excited for Halloween
Apparently trying to get DD to sleeping the crib is an epic fail. She lasted 2 hours the other night. And refused to last night. She cried and fussed. When I finally gave in a brought her to bed with us, she fell asleep in 5 seconds!!!!
Skipping a bunch - we're having a blast on our trip! The family photo shoot went really well yesterday, I can't wait to see the results! Glad I brought all of the warm clothes for LO, looks like our football game weather isn't going to be the best.
B had a little cough and low grade fever on Monday and Tuesday and has been sleeping like crap. I thought she just had a little cold, but her cough became so bad last night she couldn't stop and she has been screaming any time I put her down. DH took her to the Dr. this AM and she has a mild case of RSV and needs 4-6 days of nebulizer treatments...I feel like an idiot/asshole mom
My father asked me months ago to go to Disney on ice Frozen with them (step mom, her son/his wife/child, step grandmother, and step mom's niece). All people I'm estranged with and don't want to see. At the time I said yes to get them off my back. Now the time has come, it is tomorrow. The place is right by my work, so I don't have to pay much for parking. Ds has stranger anxiety, especially with my dad and step mom. He screams when he sees them. Plus I can't take a stroller into this place (I have an Ergo), and they won't let any food or drinks in. Idk if I'll be able to sneak bottles and warm water in there? DS won't drink a cold bottle. So, needless to say I'm stressing out and I really don't want to drag the baby there. He will need a nap, so I'll have to get up and walk him around for 30 mins. To top it off, they don't know I'm pregnant and I don't have any plans to tell them. I think it'll be a shit show. I wish I had an excuse not to go, but I don't want to hurt my dad's feelings.
Okay so my cousin had a doxie that she accidentally ran over a few months ago, with in two weeks of that accident she adopted another doxie. Well now this doxie got into a pretty severe fight with a large dog. At the moment the doxie has been at the vet on iv fluids & Meds, has broken ribs, maybe a collapsed lung, can't walk, can't pee for herself and is mass amounts of pain. Now, she is keeping the doxie at the vet through the weekend, because the dog has a small percentage of a chance to walk again. I feel like there's a line of what you put an animal through and she's crossed it. I feel like she's being selfish. I know how bad fights are with a dog the size of hers and its awful. My heart breaks for her dog.
We had a big dog verses little dog that was torn to the bone. She made it despite a poor prognosis.
They may need to stabalize her and then do back surgery if needed when anesthesia risk isn't as high.
They can do some amazing things in veterinary medicine.
As long as the pet is kept as comfortable as can be giving the pet a chance through the weekend and then making a decision based on how they're doing is reasonable. It's a very personal choice. Not everyone can afford extensive treatments, and humane euthanasia is not wrong. But maybe with time and medicine the little Doxi will improve even though it looks dire now.
Y'all, I found out this morning that my video submission into that ideas contest made it into the semifinals! Woohoo! Now I get to have an interview with a panel of judges on Thursday. Yikes!

This is my LO exactly. We tried to transition her and she would only last 2 hours. After I bring her to bed with us she sleeps through the night. She slept ten hours last night with no wake ups. That's the longest we have ever gone.
@lokimau and @RedDawnsRevenge a lot of towns move trick or treating (Beggars Night) to Thursday night if Halloween doesn't fall on a Thursday. Personally, I think it's stupid, but I get why they do it - avoiding conflicts with HS football, making sure it's a day where more people are home and able to man their doors, etc.
I just hate that neighboring towns don't always have it the same night. My address is a certain town, and that town did it last night, but my actual location is in another township, which is doing trick or treating tonight... :-/

HS football is NBD here. Parents just drop off their kids, or they drive themselves. I was a cheerleader and this was never an issue. Maybe it's a back east thing?
What? That's dumb. Conflicts with HS football? You're shitting us, right? If you have to choose between HS football and ToTing, you are too old for ToTing.
You ToT at my house on a day that is not Halloween and you will get nothing. No soup for you!
I totally agree, and I'm assuming that's one of the main reasons they move it, but I'm not on the committee that decides, so I could be totally off my rocker too ;-)
Good luck @MrsStanton87! We're in the process of transitioning out of the MM suit and having to re sleep train which will really start tonight. It sucks! I want sleep again.
Good luck @MrsStanton87 we are starting sleep training this weekend in advance of our 6 month appointment on Monday considering they have been suggesting it since month 2 and I haven't taken their advice so far!
I'm losing the crib sleeping battle as well. I tried last night, but she started screaming every time I laid her down in there. I gave in and she had her best night of sleep ever in the RNP. Now she's fighting naps hardcore...
Today is a holiday for us here in Nevada. It's the 150th anniversary of our statehood, so I have the day off! When I was a kid it was always the day of the 31st, but a de years ago they changed it to be the last Friday of October. This year, they coincide!
Also, I want a cider donut. Not a thing here, but I got one at Apple hill last year.

I'm so sad I'm missing the parade this year. Also getting out of school for nevada day was the best especially on years that it lands on Halloween!
Re: Longest Thread EVER! (aka Random Thoughts Thread )
1. Why do parents have to smoke while holding their kid's hand going door to door?.. Yuck
2. Why are parents dressing/letting their girls dress in slutty costumes?..pathetic.
3. Why is no one saying "trick or treat!"? Kids are shoving their bags down people's throats, and then saying "thanks."
This is our first Halloween without snow since I've been alive. I wish people would let the early evening, at least, be family friendly.

I forgot to share this hilarious picture with y'all. She is like way too excited... Hahahaha

@JessieAlbin Woohoo! Congrats! That's amazing.
Cider donuts? Those sound so amazing.

Is finally coming true. Coffee delivered to my house. Mmmm. =D>
