Happy Halloween! Why is it that when I don't have to wake up early, my body is ready to wake up an hour before I normally would need to be up? I took off work today because Hailey's daycare is closed. Woke up at 4am to pee, and haven't been able to get back to sleep. I started to drift back off, but then Hailey woke up and came into our room. I think it's time for some superwhy for her while I doze a little more.

If I can insert a GIF with a child throwing a temper tantrum that's me right now. MH doesn't think I should go out tonight line dancing because I'm still coughing up a storm. Afraid I will get worse.

Happy Halloween!!! Working today but headed out of town tomorrow and I am SO excited! I'm taking two Saturdays off this next month so I'm especially excited for November!

I can't wait to sit out and pass out candy to the little ones! Usually I have a beer sitting hidden behind me... And hell, I'm doing it today. Screw it.

Halloween candy for breakfast!!! Whoop whoop! I've held out this far.. I'm not strong enough to wait any longer!

Happy Friday we aren't big Halloween people but I usually love handing out candy. I am sad that we don't have any to hand out and I probably wouldn't be home in time to do so.

Next year is going to be a whole new ball game.

Ladies, how long do you want to keep this up for nominations? I am fine with letting it go a while, but the acitivity has slowed down a lot.

I will be out of town starting tomorrow, and will not be back on TB until Thursday, so I can either get the voting thread up today or it will have to wait until late next week.

Thoughts?

Happy Halloween!! I'm laying in my bed starring at my sleepy kid who doesn't want to get up. I don't want to either. If it wasn't her fall party I don't know what if do.

It annoys me they have a fall party and not Halloween. I know it's a private Christian preschool but they church itself has a big Halloween festival where the kids dress up and do activities. It's weird it's a nono at the school. They can't even dress up for the fall party..., lame...

I'm going to head up north to my parents to join in taking my 4 y/o nephew and 14 mo old niece trick or treating. But first I'm going to lay in bed for as long as I want and then head up stairs to sort through some more stuff.

Happy Halloween & TGIF!!! I'm on candy duty alone too...we don't get too many kiddos so it shouldn't be horrible. I'm looking forward to the weekend because I'm finally getting my haircut and going to see some family on Sunday!

So I have a pity party today. DD woke up at 11:30 last night crying hysterically and did not stop until 2:30. On top of that, our A/C is broken. I woke up tired and sweaty. Not a great combination. I need a nap before TOTing.

We're just taking DD 3 to a dance party at a disney hotel instead of treking around the neighborhood. Figure she'll get three houses in and decide she doesnt want to walk so this way i can enjoy the night.

Anyone painting their stomachs tonight?

I've always wanted to do it but DH cant paint and it would be just a hot mess if i tried.

Good Morning Ladies, and Happy Halloween!!! I have to go and buy candy today so i can make up my baggies to hand out . I always try to wait till the day of cause I will seriously just eat it all if its in the house to long.

Last night I spent my time siting in the ER, cause my oldest DD hurt her hand playing volleyball. they think she broke a growth plate, so now we wait for the radiologist to call today and either confirm the break or tell us she's good. If it is broke we then have to wait for the fracture clinic at a bigger hospital to call and bring her up there to be seen by the ortho doctor. Honestly DD is doing great a little sad that she can't finish the season of volleyball, but she is so good in these situations.

I really wish i had got candy a few days ago now.

I'm sitting in Starbucks having s breakfast sandwich and pumpkin spice latte because I don't want to go to work yet. Can I stay here all day?

I am with you on this, DS was up screaming from 11:45am to around 1:30am, I went in there twice to console him and get him back down, and then within 20 minutes he would be back at it.

he did get his flu shot yesterday so I am thinking that is what caused it.

@sugahcookie01‌ Yaayy for V-day! I feel you. I hate it when I can't feel the LO. It sometimes does freak me out but I know I am being silly so I don't call the doc. Probably, anterior placenta to be blamed?! No idea. But it sure does suck.

I shouldn't have to make my son wear a snowsuit under his Halloween costume, but I guess that's what happens when I live in Manitoba. Good thing I bought it a few sizes bigger!

I wish I could blame it on a flu shot. I think we're right near another developmental leap, although I don't really follow wonder weeks.

Did you sleep train? We did and the techniques that used to be foolproof aren't even working.

Happy hallowwwwween, jealous to all you ppl who get to hand out candy. I live in the middle of no where. I don't even let Dh buy candy anymore since we've never had one kid and then we have up eat it all. Fine for him but I even look at candy I gain 10 lbs lol
I'm still in bed.. Afriad to get up and see the weather it was foggy and sooooo cold yesterday!!!

I too wish snow didn't stick on the roads. I hate winter driving and getting up at 5 am to plow myself out. I'm fine with it on the grass and trees! It snowed here like early September this year!!!

Every winter, I try to figure out a way that it can be engineered the roads are like encapsulated in plexiglass or something (kinda like tunnels...?) Obviously so that I could still see and play in the snow, but the roads are clear. Haaaa. I loathe driving in snow a bit too much.

My DD school is the same way. Now it's a "fall party" and no dressing up. She went to a church for preschool and got to dress up there! When I was in school, wearing your costume for all your friends to see was the most fun! It really sucks how politically correct things have become. They're kids!!! On another note, getting ready to go to my 26 week appt. Glucose test today:( but excited to see how much he's grown agian!!

Good morning and Happy Halloween!

I'm looking forward to handing out candy to all the little ones (what is cuter than toddler in a costume?!) and seeing my neighbors.

Side note---in the past week I've had weird interactions with two of my neighbors. When I was actively building my children photography portfolio, I took pictures of a few kids in the neighborhood for next to nothing $$.

Well now out of the blue...one girl messaged me on FB asking 'what editing program' I use on my photos because she is 'just starting' and would appreciate any advice. Could I recommend an online class that I took?? WTF. I've been taking photography classes since middle school and have a fine art minor from a large state university. Just because you have a camera doesn't make you a photographer.

Then, this morning another neighbor asked me her friend could borrow my 'rustic fall props' for her daughter's photoshooot becuase her friend is 'just starting out' and 'doesn't have any props.' Then buy them! Just like I had to. Ugh.

Happy Halloween Ladies!

Today is my sisters birthday so the family is going to take her out to dinner tonight... no handing out candy for me this year.

I had such a rough morning. I was moving so slow and tried to hurry up because I was starting to run late. Rushing myself around the house I got light headed and puked. Then I couldnt find my car keys and had a major meltdown. I cried so hard after using my spare keys, that I had to pull the car over and get myself together. And now Im at work... weepy. I dont want to be bothered for fear that I'll just become a ball of tears. I seriously HATE pregnancy hormones. I've cried more in 6 months, than I have in the past 16 years.

I am going to go troll TB for some drama to make me feel better.

Morning gals!

Here is how my day is going.

I had to call my midwife office, a lab, and my insurance company this morning. DH's company paid their insurance bill two days late in July and lucky for me, that is when my NT scan was! So we got a nice bug fat bill in the mail yesterday. I was finally able to be helped out by my ins company thank goodness!!

Then, while I was waiting on hold, Ella walked up to me saying "big poopy!" covered in shit. Day 1 of potty training is not going well. LOL.

So I was cleaning poo off of her and me, all while trying to the nice insurance lady on the phone.

All before 10 AM!!! What a morning. I think Im going to dig into the Halloween candy... if I can find where DH hid it.

We did sleep train, but sort of half assed it (no specific technique) since he was pretty easy with it, we just put him in his crib and let him fuss it out, if he got too upset we sooth.

Then once he weaned he started STTN no problem. He probably wakes up screaming like this every 10 nights or so, and goes back down pretty easy with some back rubbing or rocking.

V-Day for me too

I'm off today, and later we're headed out of town for our college Homecoming. Of course, my body naturally wakes up at 5am to go to work. Stupid brain- it's my day off!

It's supposed to be highs in the 60/70s and low 40s so my mom keeps reminding us to pack our winter coats. Gotta love Texas
