In regards to @foxslaw sn... I say it all together as one word. So either way its still the same.

@kefttsc glad you were able to fall back asleep! I am jealous of your sleep
My tailbone is KILLING me. It got worse as the day wore on, but I do feel a little better today. Also my ass muscles hurt really bad. It is tough getting out of the car.
But I am so grateful that I got to spend this amazing time with my best friend. She told me last night that she really needed this vacation (if you remember, she is the one with the asshole cheating ex-fiance) and has had a wonderful time. I hope she comes back soon. :x
I need to know about @foxslaw too! I say Fox Slaw. Like really cool cole slaw. But then I was like, maybe it's Fox's Law. Like she lays down the law with awesomeness. Could go either way.
Love and hugs to all those in need! My mom texted last night to tell me that my aunt has cancer in her lungs and lymph nodes so I have been and will continue trying to determine if it's just stage 2 lung cancer or lung cancer and lymphoma. Hopefully I can figure out what they're doing to treat her gall stones and the cancer today.
GTKY: My mom had a baby shower 12 hours away while I stayed home and worked. She brought me the presents and some pictures a few weeks later.
My maternity leave situation has me so unbelievably stressed out.
I can take up to 12 weeks. Fine great wonderful. I had barely even mentioned to my manager about being pregnant and he was already talking about my 'work' schedule... for while I'm ON LEAVE. Huh?
Excuse me for thinking that my maternity leave is time for me to bond with my baby and not worry about trivial work shit.
He's all "well after a week or so you should be able to work remotely about 6 hours a week." And "You're the only one we have to do that job, so you have to do it".
No, I don't. Right?
Did I mention that my leave is unpaid? He's expecting me to work, on leave, without a paycheck.
I just want to cry.
That is bullshit (excuse my language).
This. @michelle142 if you need me to call him myself and set him straight I will. There is no way you will be working unpaid during your maternity leave!!! That guy has some nerve.
@wirtlehm I am so obsessed with this story today... Will he escape from the cop car again? Is he mentally all together? What else has he done? Ahhh (for your peace of mind I hope they lock him up for a long time)
@ChickenOnSunday - it's Regina George from Mean Girls.
I'll just walk around quoting the movie all night (which I basically do every day anyway).
So you agree. You think you're really pretty.
Another movie I've never seen. My list is long.
@ChickenonSunday this is unacceptable!! You must rent it TONIGHT and watch it. Then report back with how awesome you thought it was
On the subject of help after baby, my inlaws are going to come a week after our due date, and stay for a week. Then my parents will be coming the beginning of March. My Mom just recently retired so she is planning on staying for a month. I think my Dad might stay for 2 weeks.
I can't wait. I am a little terrified of having two little ones all on our own.
@babycfeb2015, I'm all about the right-side rib pain right now. When I told my OB about it, he cheerfully said, "Oh, yes, completely normal. And it's going to get worse!" I feel it mostly toward the end of the day and have to lean back for comfort when I'm sitting.
@willvilljill, that's quite a collecting hobby your MIL has there ...
BOOO. I don't think that OBs are allowed to be cheerful about pregnancy symptoms if they've never experienced them. My OB is pretty blase and down-to-earth about the crazy things that happen during pregnancy, but she's also been pregnant three times, so I give her a pass! You'd think that OBs would be experts in talking to pregnant women who often feel like they're one errant comment away from unleashing The Rage (tm)!

That was my thought as well @mandamoochie - the idea of a family member going through my house weirds me out. Plus, I hate mixing family and business but H's side of the family does it all the time! She may go to Wilmington, I'll quiz her!

I so second @erobbins09 -- an event like this is sure to have a pro photographer, right? I would fully approve a separate post just for a recap of your shower, with lots of pictures! :-j

Part of my job is to interview people over the phone (for management positions). The call typically takes about 15 minutes for this intro call.
Note to interviewees: If I have said a total of 50 words and the call has take 25 minutes already and I still have 3 more questions, you are TALKING TOO MUCH AND I HATE YOU NOW.

Random thought: in the past week our group had grown immensely. Does anyone think it's possible that the troll chain (of that ever happened) just resulted in people using both because they like it here?

I think we are just bad ass vipers and people think we rock. They probably aren't even due in February, but just want to hang out with us.

) Yep there is a photographer... I've gotten a few comments from my friends that they were totally impressed by the invitations. I told my mother, and now she thinks that means she can go overboard with extra stuff. My dad asked what the plans are for first birthday because this is out of control. I have to agree with the man. Its pretty out there, but for me and DH this is a bigger deal than getting married. Our road has been so tough.

Sounds like an awesome afternoon! Let me know how the new version is. I was curious about it but knew I wouldn't get to see it unless it was on Netflix or HBO GO.
hahahah so speaking of Ebola (ok no one did but I want to tell yall something)
My husband works with animals from Africa. So a huge crate of African animals came in and was in the shop---every time he walked by he told me he holds his breathe because he is afraid of catching ebola.
I explained a) you can't get it from breathing in b) don't eat the rotten bushmeat if there is any left on the skins or lick the animals and you will probably be fine c) it is only contagious for like..21 days or something and the meat/skins have been in the crate a lot longer than that lol

I thought I was so cool he works with African animals...then realizes he's a taxidermist so they're dead!
Yeah, Its not the cool way to work with animals!
I don't agree with some of the things he has to do (mostly its just African plains game ie. like our deer) so we don't talk about the African animals much. His specialty is mainly north American animals so he hardly works with them someone else does but I am still not thrilled about it!
Ugh, it's supposed to be in the upper 80s today. I'm so over this heat! My pinky toes keep going to sleep so my OB wants me to wear compression hose. *pout* it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so warm outside.
GTKY: 2nd kid, so no shower. Last time I wore a sundress because it was hot.

The heat is sucking. This weekend it is supposed to be 90. Yuck!
Worked last 3 days, off today and work tomorrow. Emotionally tough week so far- can't hipaa details but withdrew care on a pt I've had for awhile. For the best, but hard to facilitate the process (trying to stay professionally separate but caring) and even more difficult to watch the family.
PLEASE have an updated Advance Directive (and encourage family members to do the same). It won't cover every scenario, but it greatly helps surviving family members to deal with the guilt, the doubt of "are we doing the right thing?" and takes the responsibility off of them.
GTKY: I wore a Target mat dress to my showers with DS. This time, we're having a work shower in Dec for 4 of us due Jan-Feb. I want to wear a cute dress, but probably everyone will be in jeans/cute top.
@psychobutthead I hearted your post for reminding us why its good to bring someone along. Sounds like your experience totally sucked though! @lulu4087 I would let it slide. At least he was checking on you to make sure you were feeling ok. @michelle142 Umm, no! If your company gives you x amount of weeks off, then you don't work. Especially unpaid! I would quickly inform boss that they're SOL while I'm on leave. @wirtlehm Omg! What a crazy psycho! Glad your friends were able to stop them from entering and that he's finally caught. @Paleomama I know... I'm going to go to the ice rink just so I can wear my warmer clothes.
@gratefulfunmama1001 I think it's the weather. For whatever reason 1 raindrop = traffic everywhere in Philadelphia. I refuse to take the interstates around here soooo not a prob for me... :-\"
....I've only lived, ya know around here for 6 years now. I'll drive in center city, no prob. I used to literally drive to chester EVERYDAY for work... but just can't do the interstates.
I haven't caught up on all 7 pages of spam, but my spam is that my feet are swelling. I thought I would dodge this bullet. But alas... I hope the 2 Heath Bars I ate don't have anything to do with it. Maybe I should have saved that for for FFFC.
I went to a consignment sale this morning and did a great job! I bought DS a pair of jeans and some socks, and I picked up 3 outfits, 9 sleepers and a Halo Sleep Sack all for $34. In addition, we cleaned a lot out of the baby's room yesterday, picked a paint color this morning and DH will move the couch out after his buddy spends the night on it Saturday. I am relieved that we are finally getting some stuff done. DH seems to be in denial over the fact that I NEED to do some nesting.
F15 December Siggy Challenge: Holiday Decoration Fails
@mrsthadababy I only really invested in warmer maternity clothes because I knew I would be big mostly when it is cold. Just waiting for it to happen now. I feel like temps should drop any day now.

I was off Tuesday cause I had to take DS to the doctor.
I left early yesterday, cause I felt like crap.
Today there was a bad tar smell in the building so they sent everyone home, as it was considered a health hazard.
Maybe I'll work a full day tomorrow.
