Random annoying DH rant; am I being too sensitive? I got up around 5 because I couldn't sleep. DH hears me and asks if everything's ok. Tell him I can't sleep so I'm gonna get up and read. He says to me, "yeah I can't sleep either, every time you get up (to pee) it wakes me up." I was just like, well excuse me, so sorry for your discomfort and inconvenience. Grrrr. I know he said this at 5am and was sleepy but geez....it really bothered me. Not sure if I should bring it up or let it slide.

Good morning ladies. I'm at the cardiologist this morning to follow up on the issues my OB heard. I left extra early so I would have time to stop and grab something mildly decent for breakfast and ofcourse traffic was a mess. I downed a bacon burrito from sonic in seriously 60 seconds flat.

Also, the cardiologist office has a fancy coffee pot with all sorts of flavored creamers but no decaf. Cruel.

She originally wanted to stay until mid March...but I finally had to tell her that if LO comes early like DD did, then that gives me very little alone time with LO to adjust and get on a good schedule before going back to work. Don't get me wrong though, MIL helps out a ton and am grateful she will be here for some time...just don't want her here my entire leave.

I'm going to post a rant and run here...

My maternity leave situation has me so unbelievably stressed out.

I can take up to 12 weeks. Fine great wonderful. I had barely even mentioned to my manager about being pregnant and he was already talking about my 'work' schedule... for while I'm ON LEAVE. Huh?

Excuse me for thinking that my maternity leave is time for me to bond with my baby and not worry about trivial work shit.

He's all "well after a week or so you should be able to work remotely about 6 hours a week." And "You're the only one we have to do that job, so you have to do it".

No, I don't. Right?

Did I mention that my leave is unpaid? He's expecting me to work, on leave, without a paycheck.

I just want to cry.

@wirtlehm‌ so scary!!! I am glad your h is ok. My work was broken into once and I can't right after they left and I was traumatized all week.. It sucks when someone bad is in your safe place!

@michelle142 um NO. NO. just NO. That seems quite illegal on so many levels. I'd talk to HR. I'm not in HR myself, but isn't the point of leave is you're not working? Not to mention, I had a manager fired for making me do work obligations without being paid and she could of gone to jail.

I plan to talk to HR about it, but every time I think about it right now I get all sobby. Stupid hormones.

I'm ok with working remotely a bit each week AFTER the initial 6 weeks - IF they pay me for it. But no way in hell will I work unpaid.

With DS I had horrible PPD and I couldn't have imagined working during my leave. I so scared that's going to happen again and work stress will just amplify it.

Posting & running this morning. DD is sick and has been up all night whining/crying/coughing for the last 2 nights. No sleeping in this house for anyone.

@psychobutthead I'm sorry your test went so crappy. The same exact thing happened to me after I took the one hour test with DD1. And I wanted to comment on the women bringing their DHs to the 3 hour tests being "needy." After going through that, my DH also came to the 3 hour test in case I had the same reaction as with the one hour. Some women just can't physically handle it...doesn't mean they're needy. Is there anyway you can test with strips for a bit at home instead of going through the 3 hour test again?

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but my co-worker/work friend, who I mentioned got put on bedrest last week, had her baby yesterday.  We just found out at work.  She was 27 or 28w along, and was due mid-J15.  Baby boy was 2lbs 11oz, but we don't know any more than that.  If you could spare a good thought for her and her DH (and babe!) that would be nice.

They didn't steal anything so I don't think I'll be reporting to insurance, the window is a $50 fix that is more of  a pain in my dad's ass than anything else!

My husband went in the kitchen and noticed that all the doors were open. When he turned around he noticed the guy in the stairwell behind him and flipped on the light! He said, "and who the fuck are you?!" (HA!) When my husband went to get a gun and his phone (now we'll prolly consider a landline in the kitchen!) the guy shimmied out my basement window.

The cops pulled him over in his jeep, brought him to my house for ID but the guy somehow managed to bust the wire screen between the front and back of the cop car out and crawl over the console and escape. They had his jeep towed (by my neighbor!) and they have his ID so hopefully they catch the guy.

Unfortunately, they would have only been able to get him on my husbands word and he only saw the clothes. So of course he'll ditch those at the first convenience.

The detectives working the case have linked it to another break in in the area so I'm really hoping they catch him and we can put his ass away! Trashy, I'll tell ya!

IDK about strips they didn't mention any alternatives. If it happens again Friday they will just have to find alternatives.

I do think some women are extremely needy. But while pregnant I don't side eye husbands going to appointments too much. You dont know if they are PGAL, a couple struggling with infertility, or if the mom has some serious health issues. So each appointment could honestly mean the world to them.

I'm feeling much better today. No throwing up and able to eat breakfast. Yay! Looks like it was just a 48 stomach bug.

No shower here, but for DS I wore a cute dress with sandals. Different time of year.

Im bummed I missed pearl jam concert last night but I thought spending $70 on a ticket was a bad idea around the holidays and with baby #2 coming - but I hate to hear at work today how awesome it was!!  ah well...

headed to ikea this weekend to see if I can find some cheap accents for the baby's nursery

GTKY: had a shower with DD and not going to have a 2nd one - but I wore a cute marroon dress and boots and looking back it wasnt the most flattering

Update!

While the helicopter stopped to refuel, the guy came out of hiding and went and broke into another house! This was the house of my mother-in-laws friend whose son was home at the time. She had obviously called her son to warn him. He greated the man at the door w a shotgun. The guy escaped again but they FOUND HIM in a neighboring barn.

WHAT A JACKASS! Thanks GOD they found him though!

Good morning everyone hopefully I can play a little more today. I have been so freakin busy even with days off. Between trying to fix things with all the financing and getting ready for Zoe I feel like my head is about to explode. Also I have been getting ready for Aidan's birthday. Today I am taking the day to my self. I think I will watch a movie and do some laundry. I am not going to look at my list today. One cool thing is I have been feeling Zoe so much lately and seeing her from the outside. DH still has not because every time he puts his hand on my belly she stops. @cls78‌ I think you can get a hoodie from target. Maybe check out the men's section. @af2911 I am sorry your kiddo is sick. That is the worst @foxslaw just love you girl
