manic monday spam.

Here's to another week. What do you have cooking?

and what is a name you like that is on your no way list? And why is it there.

Re: manic monday spam.

  • Good morning ladies. We have a very busy week ahead. Work of course everyday. Grocery shopping and errands tonight, movies tomorrow to celebrate a friend's birthday, dinner at my Aunt and Uncle's on Wednesday to ask them to help with childcare (eep), bowling league on Thursday and another damn birthday on Friday. Oh and then a wedding aaand Halloween party on Saturday. SAVE ME!

We have had our name picked out for a long time (Abigail Elizabeth), but I have always liked the idea of the name Cadence. I would never use it though. I just love the musical nod it has and think it's a bit unique.

  • Omg guise, I'm on the first page of spam!
Can't sleep due to birthday party hangover. It's a good thing kids only have one a year. I'm pooped and my feet hurt!

Ok, entertain me people until my Tylenol kicks in and I can go back to sleep...

  • @ChickenOnSunday‌ it's low 60s in my house. So hard to get out from under the covers and get moving when it's that chilly. I love sleeping when it's that chilly though.

@mrsthadababy‌ what time zone are you in?

  • @ChickenOnSunday‌ - Awww, poor little thing!! Is she feeling ok or just a random throw up incident?

  • @erobbins09‌ get your pup to the vet. That I'd not normal and can be a sign of an infection, incontinence or another underlying problem all of which need to be treated.

Does anyone on F15 have heated bathroom floors. DH didn't love me enough to have them installed when we built this house. He said they aren't necessary in NC.

No I do not but those sound fabulous. We don't even have a heater in the bathroom.

  • @ChickenOnSunday‌ my in laws do and it is amazing! We don't but we did get a special tile that never gets cold and I actually really like it. It was very cost effective. We put it in our laundry room and both bathrooms.

  • @aggiebug‌ yeah I think I'll keep my eye on her this morning... I realized last night I was a bad owner and hadn't let her out since around lunch time :/ (it was cold and rainy!) so i likely got what I deserved... She's 6 so not a puppy but not old either.. But good advice and I'll watch her for other odd behavior too.

@mrsthadababy‌ and I know :) perfect choice of words.. But I guess I was really the one who was "pissed"

  • Hope W feels better! @ChickenOnSunday‌

You always make me giggle with your spam posts @erobbins09‌

    Congrats @lindseysquared‌ ! What a great accomplishment!
  • Anyone else's bump app acting weird this morning? Mine keeps bringing up middle of the night updates with all the trolling from (i am assuming) babycenter.
  • Oh, I have a random vent.
Out of the blue I get a Facebook message from aunt-in-law asking me if I'm selling DS's walker and if so she wants first dibs.
Ummm, no first of all because he still uses it. Second, you know I'm pregnant. I'm saving it for the next LO!

This aunt is so random, and she's a post-delivery nurse so she tries to ask me unrelated medical comments about pregnancy. Smh...

  • I am so tired from this whole past week. It's kinda ridiculous. The Packer game yesterday was so much fun but with our little scare I was worried the entire time. Baby C has not really moved much in the past few days and I'm beginning to worry so the doctor will be called at 8am on the dot. No fun..
  • Happy Monday!

GTKY: DH and I love the name Juliet, but we have so many J names in our family (including a Julia) so we vetoed it.  Good thing this LO is a boy.

So I definitely saw the oatmealrasin thread....where was the babycenter infiltration?

  • Weekend went by way to fast! I'm not looking forward to my 12 hour shift tonight :( Mondays just always seem to drag.... anyhow enough complaining, carving Pumkins when DS comes home from school, that will be alot of fun. So I'm pretty excited about that lol

@lindseysquared - congrats on the race! You are my hero!  I'm benched for the pregnancy, but want to do another 1/2 after LO is born.

@chickenonsunday - sorry W feels bad.  Hope it's just random and nothing else.

Wow - the board had an active weekend!  I can't even begin to comment on some of the nonsense.

We're going to DC on Wednesday so I'm really excited about this babymoon.  My hips have been hurting some, so I'm not sure how I'll do with all the walking around.

I always really liked the name Kara, but it's recently been ruined and I'll never use it.

  • @ChickenOnSunday‌ I hope W only had a reflux incident. I had to go check on Ronan in the middle of the night because I didn't understand the sound on the monitor. His nose was so stuffy he was snoring. He's been miserable with his sinuses and I hope she doesn't have to go through it too.

@erobbins09‌ that sucks. All that popped into my head though are my dad's really bad "better to be pissed off than pissed on" jokes. The first time a dog pissed on me though he said "looks like you got both, that sucks for you". Dads, ugh! Thanks for the giggle though.

@foxslaw‌ my app has been doing that for a couple days. It's been driving me nuts.

@DBJackson25‌ Fx for good news about LO when you call. Keep us updated and I'll pm you my number in case you need anything or get bored.

@crystalw88‌ all these posts are making my stabby and giving me a serious wtf reaction too.

Another night of crappy sleep between birth of my guys and both of my girls snoring all night, weird pregnancy dreams and 3 am bladder karate. Today is DH's Friday though so we'll try to figure out Halloween costumes this weekend. I'm so excited for that.

GTKY : Hailey, Hannah, Emily, Sophia, Charlotte and Isabelle were all on my favorite list but Hannah, Hailey and Sophia are family pets, Emily is my SIL and Charlotte Isabelle is my niece. This took a lot of names of of the running for us which is why finding a girls name was so hard.

After smoking some ribs yesterday (mmm) we made the poor (in hindsight) decision to give the dog a rib bone to chew on. - Cue waking up at 5 am to the dog puking  :( Luckily he is very good and goes as close as he can to the outside to puke, and almost always makes it to the non-carpeted areas. So, relatively easy clean-up. However, since my alarm goes off at 6:15, I didn't get much sleep after.

Also, I graduated to the 21st century this weekend, and got my first ever smart phone (oooohhhh aaaahhhh) However, I clearly didn't know how to turn off the alarm this morning (must have hit snooze?) And I came out of the shower with it going off again - which it must have been doing for like 10 min. Oops. so much for letting H sleep in this morning.
  • It's too late to do anything about it but I'm freaking out all of a sudden. I put chicken in the crockpot today, one breast was left over (uncooked obviously) from the package I opened Friday night. Been in the fridge the whole time, but now I'm all "HOW LONG WAS IT IN THE FRIDGE BEFORE FRIDAY?!" Probably on the order of a week?  Am I fine?

Soooo sad my three day weekend is over, but we had a busy busy few days with lots of fun activities (Fall Fest, Nephews Birthday Party, lots of snuggles).

I need to figure out why heat is not getting to DS room, it was 67 degrees in there at 3am so I bumped the thermostat up to 72 and it was only 68 in his room when I woke up at 5am, he too was curled up like a little snail.  Poor baby!

DH has a "man cold" lord help us all.....

as for name, I have mentioned it before, but I am (still) obessesed with the name Indiana for a girl.

  • Hmm, you guys are freaking me out. I *do* actually get monthly ultrasounds... but I'm 99% sure I'm low-risk. Could it just vary from office to office?

(Still, the point remains that yes, with that much doctor interaction, this girl can't be effing serious. Not this early on a Monday.)

ETA: my office does u/s + appt every months until 7 months, then biweekly until 9th month, then it's weekly. Is that a weird schedule?

I believe my office is on the same schedule minus the u/s's

  • It's cold. I refuse to bust out my winter coat before November 1st!

Someone brought in treats this morning at work. I had a French Vanilla muffin and it was amazing.

I love the name Natalie but won't use it because we know about 80 little Natalie's.

I think the "normal" amount of ultrasounds during a pregnancy is two or even just one. Others please chime in because my first pregnancy was high risk so I was seen every four weeks.

    Are you AMA?
Last time with DS I had exactly ONE u/s the entire pregnancy.

I'm up to 3 this time so far, but only because they're checking on the status of my partial previa.

  • @willvilljill‌ I had a viability scam and a/s. That's all I get until LO comes.

@bhjones1980‌ love tit for a good weekend and the name Indiana. Sorry YH is sick and YS's not getting heat. We live in a 1.5 story house with 2 seperate a/c units. DH discovered that ours can be set to focus on zones of the house. After readjusting ours DS gets heat and air now but we have to leave his bedroom door open or he doesn't get enough to warm or cool his room. Next house is going to be a 1 story.
