I did not.  I don't know how to look up incidents from 3 years ago.  The guy isn't lonely per se, he lives with his mother who allegedly sells his medication.

@Jaztastic, you could be a saint for letting someone threaten to take you to court on some many occasions. I'm not sure I could handle that. I want to hit your MIL for you. I'm amazed that she's a real person. She's BSC and beyond and I'm sorry that you have to deal with her. It'll probably get worse after Dolce is her. The whole situation seems wrong to me and like she's buying baby stuff for herself.

@cloe111479‌  DH is coming with me for the appointment but that's because I need him to remind me to ask for the glucola when I get there. I don't care where he goes after he reminds me. Second though, he could probably just text me. That seems easier so...

I'm having DH text me to remind me to get the glucola. I don't want his whiny butt there otherwise.

@smg2302, If there hasn't been an incident with the neighbor then I wouldn't worry about it. My grandpa was a paranoid schizophrenic so as long as he's on medication and doesn't perceive you as a threat then he's absolutely harmless. Even if he does perceive you as a threat you'll get ranted and raved at before anything else. The stigma of scary murderers on the edge is very wrong. If you aren't comfortable in the neighborhood as a whole I do recommend moving though.

@krendel1990 The supposed gun shots were last week.  I did not hear them and neither did DH.  I wake up at every noise so I feel like I would hear them.  There was nothing reported in the last week.  The incident a few years ago was the attack on my home's previous owner, but I don't know how to look that up.

@jennjilljoite I hate using this man's mental illness as a reason to want to move.  I don't even know if this is his actual diagnosis or a fear mongering neighbor.  Mental illness can happen to anyone regardless of neighborhood, so part of me feels silly for letting this get to me so badly.  My own father has severe PTSD that could very easily be feared and misconstrued as dangerous, so I'm feeling very hypocritical.

God 7 pages! Anyways I'm at work and can't read all of these atm.

I'm stuck here until probably around 7:30ish.

Had my glucose test this morning. Ob wants to test me early for it because of some issues I've been having. I keep loosing feeling in my toes for no reason. Even when I don't have shoes or socks on and I'm at home with my feet propped up I loose feeling. Also had my 2nd anatomy scan today.

Looks like I'll probably need a 3rd because he was upside down the whole time and nothing we did would make him more into a new position. The most movement he did today was hit and kick me. Other than that he just laid their chillin.

Also ordered my mobile last night! I'm hoping it comes soon.

I made Marnie's Hallowe'en costume this morning.  I haven't dyed it yet (it'll be blue on the bottom and pink on the top - she insists on being a "pink and blue spooky ghost").

Also, I think we might have a real name for Monster Truck.  The only name we've agreed on so far is Lindsay (and I told him it would have to be Lindsay and not Lindsey).  DH is in love, love, love with the name.  I'm good with it, albeit not as crazy about it as he seems to be... so he said I get to choose whatever middle name I want.  I'm cool with that deal.

I understand @smg2302. There has been a lot of negative publicity specifically geared towards paranoid schizophrenia so it is fear inducing for people who haven't experienced it first hand. I honestly didn't think you meant anything by it. I agree with @krendel1990, the other neighbor might just be a drama llama that's making things up or distorting facts to mess with you or the neighbor with a mental illness (which would be incredibly despicable). Have you tried calling the police station and asking about any incidents in your house?

Overhearing a conversation that I really need to step away from... Coworker A asked me how much of a budget was allotted for a certain project, I told him the figure (granted coworker A was in the same room when we were both told the figure, he even made a comment that it might not be enough).  Coworker B asks "so what exactly would really happen if we just submit a higher invoice after the work is rendered?".  Coworker A, "I suspect nothing.  What can they do about it?"

I wish I had a recorder on to save this convo and get them both in trouble when a certain bill goes over budget, I'd have evidence they were trying to sidestep the accounting rules. The quote must be approved prior to work done.

My child loves scaring me. When he's sitting in his room all alone he pretends to hyperventilate, choke and have trouble breathing. It's scary and it drives me nuts. Why is this something he does? I feel like this can't be normal.

One name I love is Aiden Michael. Thats what DD was going to be if she would have been a boy. I will never use the name Aiden because one DH hates it since Aiden, Haiden, Jaiden, and Raiden is so popular.

Also SIL for about a year was in a realtionship with a man that had a child named Aiden. So to me it would just be strange to name a child that after being around that little boy and him attending family events for the time that he did.

I also like Delilah. DH hates that name because it sounds to similar to the name of his brothers ex gf who was batshit crazy and was commited because she threatened to kill him and herself.

That's a good suggestion, but I also am hesitant to spread fear among the other neighbors, especially if this is news to them.  I'm not sure how to go about getting my questions answere without making this worse for my neighbors.  I don't want to be the drama llama.

Stat care was a hot mess. Lots of people there today. Crazy warning signs up about Ebola since its in the neighborhood. You know just casual reminders not to play with monkeys or eat bushmeat....

Kiddo had a bad virus but lungs sound okay so its not entero .... he gave me a script for amoxicillin just in case she didnt clear up in 3 days. So we back on the mucinex/vaporizer/Tylenol regime until she quits sounding like darth vader while sleeping.

In ither news my mom met me at the dr to make sure kiddo was okay and brought me leftover roast with veggies, cheesecake and chocolate cake with ganache from the family dinner party i had to miss last night due to a sick kiddo. Ive already inhaled the cheesecake

@jaztastic Some states recognize grand parental rights. But if the parents are together or even if they aren't and both parents refuse for the grandparent to see the child theres nothing the grandparent can do. I went through this with my own mother. She threatened to take my child away and get grand parental rights but the state I'm from doesn't recognize it and when she approchaed DD's father about it he laughed in her face and told her there was no way he would ever agree to her having visitation.

Also about the whole bassinet thing that is weird. Its not on your registry and it won't be sent to your house? Whats the point in even buying the damn thing. My mil is the same way. Went to buybuybaby where I'm registered. She started going on about how she wanted to buy some kind of rocking portable bassinet thing. To which I told her I don't need one I have the bassinet in my pnp. She looks at me and tells me well its not for you its for my house. 

I just told her I'm probably going to have a big baby and that a bassinet only lasted DD not even a month and that she'd be wasting her money if LO was that big. She got pissed and walked off.

All of us with crazy MIL's should make a club I swear.

I believe Pandora has a rockabye baby station if you don't want to buy the CDs. 

My husband bought a couple of the albums off iTunes for less than the hard copy CDs cost.

I only order my glasses online. Its so much cheaper. I buy mine and DH's off of zennioptical.com

I haven't had any issues with them and I also order prescription sunglasses from them.

The fucking CollegeBoard has lost my SAT scores.  I ordered them a few months ago and got a letter in the mail (after paying them $40) that they could not locate them, sorry bout' your luck.  I called my high school and they had already shredded them because it had been over 10 years and my first college had record of me taking them but not my actual scores.  That means I have to pay close to $1000 for an extra preliminary math course so that I can finally take my required courses this coming year.  SO ready to be done with school.

So my Mom thought putting a plastic plate in the microwave "just for a little bit" was perfectly ok.

Then seemed surprised when it melted and filled my entire house with smoke. @-)

Rather than getting DS out of the smoke filled room, she stayed in there with him and called DH to ask "what should I do?"

WTF. Some of the crap she does really makes me question her babysitting abilities...

@michelle142  - I can SO relate to this. My parents set off my smoke detector at my house EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It doesn't matter which one is even cooking. And they are good cooks (usually) just sometimes lack the judgement skills like : If they are supposed to be watching my 1 year old, how about let's NOT broil something on HI and expect it NOT to burn. Super pet peeve of mine. I'm waiting for the day that ADT actually sends the fire department.

OH thank you for posting this! I had someone tell me about this website and I totally forgot the name of it. It was a customer at my job and I loved her glasses. I'm about to order like 3 pairs of $12.95 glasses! They even have prescription sunglasses...I think I'm in love.

I'd buy frames from these sites but not the lens.  A good optician would have to measure the distance between your pupils to make the lens, as each lens would need an optical centre. I read a long time ago that virtually every brand of frames you can name came from the same company, they just put different logos on. Frames have insane markups.

a couple of weeks ago when old navy was having the maternity sale I got a Old Navy credit card because I wanted the extra discount. I don't keep balances on CCs. Now I'm paying for being cute because old navy gave me TWO credit accounts and TWO cards. It royally sucks because it's going to go against me on my credit report that this random phantom account was applied for, and closed (which are all obviously hits on a credit report.)

Do I report it as fraudulent since *I* didn't open it,  I think it was just a glitch so technically it was fraudulently opened by Old Navy?
