Great, my sister did a whole baseball theme in a park so it was hot dogs and cracker jacks etc... Favors she did goody bags with ice cream helmets. She's amazing at that stuff! Lots of family, minimal games :-)

So exhausted from the shower that DH asked if I minded him going to the bar tonight with some friends. I said hell yes because it meant I could just climb in bed without talking to anyone.

Glad everyone had nice showers! Mine is next weekend and I'm dreading figuring out what to wear.

It was definitely a crazy night last night...What nonsense. Glad so many of the regulars will still be around. I haven't been all that regular, but have been finding more time to participate.

I had really good luck in the maternity section of macys! I hate shopping so I was happy to get it done and over with.

My dogs just woke me up barking. It's 3 am and I see that DH isn't in bed (he was out at a bar when I fell asleep) so I go to see what they are barking at. He's passed out drunk at the head of our steps. I thought about tossing him a blanket and pillow but nope, just gonna leave his ass how he is. He got to get wasted, I get to sprawl out in bed. Seems fair right?

ETA: ok so I gave him a pillow and blanket on the floor. I'm not a total monster.

Argh I need to vent, didn't want to make a new thread. H texted me late last night that his boss quit (giving notice for four weeks from now). I know my H and he's going to offer to cover for his boss until a replacement can be found which does make sense, but he already works 14 hr days, so I know it's whiney and selfish but I am pissed that not only will I not get help now, I definitely won't get help once the baby arrives. Oh and I was counting on him getting up in the mornings with DD so that I didn't die but I doubt that will happen now as he will be overworked the worst part is he will be doing all this work to help and they will still skip over him and hire externally. Sorry I am just frustrated and whiney and poor me. I'm gonna shut my whiney face now, we are lucky to both be employed and having a baby. God I am a spoiled brat.

Just because you can put your problems into perspective doesn't mean they don't suck. I'm sorry you have this going on - at the worst possible time. I don't think your being spoiled. I would be livid. Hopefully this time his efforts will be better rewarded.
