My mom and aunt surprised me by coming into town on Thursday for my sprinkle yesterday so I've been busy with family and renovating the boy's future room. Back to work today so I'll be around the board all day.

PS My town does not have Ebola, confirmed this morning. Thank goodness!!!!

@BayCamp - I am soooooo excited for the upcoming move to Florida. I think I am especially excited since I have never been to Florida at all so it makes it that much more of an adventure So thanks for giving me a park to check out! On another note, definitely milk it while your H is feeling guilty! Haha!

@LaxMOM44 - I would be upset too and worried about how I would handle everything. Dont be too hard on yourself, youre allowed to feel your emotions. FX that you H doesnt have to cover his boss' responsibilities for too long!

HAHA I just got back from the bathroom and there was a breakfast burrito waiting for me on my desk. Score for pooping!

Oh goodness, if it wasn't for the cake and my family members surprise visit, it would have been a disaster. My SIL is very sweet for wanting to throw it for me and it was a wonderful gesture but also the most awkward 3 hours of my life. She invited coworkers (of hers), neighbors, and friends that I have never met. I knew 4 people at MY sprinkle. I'm sure I'll get flamed for complaining about a sprinkle that was thrown for me but seriously, why even take the time if you aren't going to invite people I know?

@LaxMOM44‌ that would really frustrate me too! My husband has a tendency to do things like that. It would be that much tougher with a wee one at home and a baby on the way. It is perfectly acceptable to feel the way you do!

@chelseavranich yeah it was weird. There were about 20 other people there and almost all of them brought clothes. I already have a 2 year old son, I specifically told my SIL I did not need or want any clothes. She put on the invitation that I was registered at BBB and BRU so I had to scramble to add stuff to BRU since I wasn't actually registered there and only my mom and aunt used the registry. It was a wonderful gesture but just so weird, it was my shower but had nothing to do with me. Oh well, at least there was Mexican food and cake.

Yup, best part about my ILs being Mexican is their get togethers. Ok, and they're pretty great people too. But for real, their food is phenomenal.

MCM I tried to tell them you'd never quit us. You love us too much.

Haha he was working so we didn't talk until last night when he got home. He asked how it went and who was there; when I told him his words exactly were, "Who the f are they?" I laughed and said I had no idea either but it was a nice time. He just rolled his eyes and said his sister is weird then asked if I brought home any food.
