Yup, 12/29 here. But baby was breech at an u/s on Fri and I wonder if she will stay that way and I'll end up with a RCS before then...

She still has plenty if time to flip @desertsun‌ my 2nd stayed breech until 38 weeks when be finally flipped and stayed head down.

My baby is breech still at 34 weeks. My doctor asked me this past week if I wanted a c-section to look into my ovary and adhesion situation but it had nothing to do with the breech. I know a lot of babies flip like the day before they're born so I'm not worried yet. I still said no, I do not want a c-section unless it is medically necessary to save my or my child's life!

I have 8 - 9 weeks left until EDD. My last shower is in 2 weeks. After that there will be a lot of Amazon purchasing (holidays, baby gear, etc). Might need to make cookies or banana bread for my UPS guy.

I've bought DS one thing- I'm beyond behind on everything but the thought of shopping makes me want the vomit. I prefer my couch and I hate ordering online.

So far all I've got is a gift for my parents from SO and I and something small for my sister. I have a lot do get still... but I am usually the same as @ashtonkitty1 and start shopping on Black Friday. I know I will probably hate myself later, but for now I am still pretty determined to go shopping on Black Friday/Thanksgiving night since the stores seem to open right after Thanksgiving dinner for the last two years.

I second the Amazon Prime route. We most likely won't make the 5 hr drive home for Christmas with a 3-4 week old, so I'm letting prime do all the work for me this year!! And if you request gifts that are not prime eligible, you get NOTHING!!

We have a bit of our Christmas shopping done. DH's family decided to only get gifts for the kids this year and we have a couple things purchased for our nieces. We have a secret Santa for my family and I so far have knit a scarf for my sister (pattern for the scarf Luna Lovegood wore). We are mostly done for DD. Just want to pick up a couple couple more small things for her.

And while I was playing with dd I swear swear she said Hodor. I almost peed my pants laughing.

Talk about not doing anything!! I haven't gotten anything set up for the little boy yet because we have to wait until the end if this month to do it! Moving into a condo... I have been so itchy to get things set up for him. Lol. It kills me to see the crib and dresser still in the box!!!

@leosmom25, I totally support every woman doing her own research and trying for the birth experience of her preference! For me, I'm not super opposed to RCS. I know that I would have to switch OBs if I wanted one that would consider a VBAC after 40 weeks or with a breech baby, and honestly, I really love my OB and would rather just stick with her even if she is more conservative and that might mean a RCS at 40 weeks or with a breech baby. 

With a breech baby, one of my big concerns in hip dysplasia. My sister had a female breech baby who had to be in a harness and be closely observed for several months as an infant due to hip dysplasia. I know it's not a life-threatening condition so of course we'd just handle it as best we could, but it would also certainly be my preference not to have to deal with it at all if possible. KWIM? 

As far as Christmas shopping...I have not even begun. Yikes.

Side note. For those who are still working. Are you planning on working until baby pops or are you taking off before your due dates? I worked until I went into labor with DS because, money and what else am I going to do? But DH wants me to take off a week or 2 before my due date to have 'me' time and prepare. First of all, idk who this dude is. & second of all, is that really a thing?! Is anyone doing that? 

My EDD is 12/9, and I'm planning to stop working at Thanksgiving. That gives me about 13 days til the EDD when I could presumably be at home having this magical "me" time your DH mentioned. Who knows if I'll end up with all that time or lots more, or if I'll enjoy it or just be going nuts wondering when baby will make her appearance. But I'm pretty damn sure I'll be ready to stop going in to work by Thanksgiving. I'm already counting the days!!

JUST 27 more days to work. Hooray!!

@desertsun‌ I absolutely agree. I was just saying she only brought up csection for my other issues. If baby boy is still breech at go time I'm down to do what I have to do for everyone's safety, I just don't want to schedule it when my ovaries are the reason and its something that could be addressed at a later date.

Now to AW, I still have quite a bit to do but the boy's room is starting to look like a room!

Umm I've only gained 10lbs this pregnancy. Sliiiiightly underweight to start with and baby is growing fine. My doctor says I just hit the genetic jackpot of pregnancy bc I'm growing a normal sized baby without gaining weight. (Please don't hate me). But I can't help being scared that she will be unhealthy or have an issue due to my lack of weight gain! Not complaining by any means. Just seems abnormal and a touch worrisome.

I have vacation that I have to use before the end of the year or I lose the time. So I'll be off work starting 9 days before my due date. I have 6 weeks of paid parental leave and more vacation to use to be off after the first of the year for at least 8 weeks of recovery post-birth.

Just been overdoing it lately. BH have been crazy anytime I try to do anything. I have been resting today and just stressing about logistics if I do end up/need to go to L&D.
