We dress as professions and nobody says boo. I don't get it. I think we find ways to make everything offensive these days, it's so stupid.

@ambarnett1 - Hugs to you!! It will get better really. Its hard being pregnant with a little. Wait til you have to do bathtime with a huge belly. It will all be worth in though.

In the interim - go ahead and be mad at the world. Give DH a kick in the pants because you get to blame the hormones!!! Then make yourself a nice ice cream sundae (if you can eat that is...).

To make my day even better. The house key fell off of DHs key chain which I conveniently had today. I only went out for a frosty and now I can't get back in the house until DH comes home. Of course I don't have diapers, wipes, bottles, or formula. Awesome fucking day.

When I got locked out, I went to Tastee Freeze.
Wandering target is a good option, too. Ours has a Starbucks. Plus there are baby supplies.

Yeah, I went to target and got some stuff I need. Heading to my in laws now because I do have a key to their house in my car. Thank goodness.

My OB told me last year it was from hormonal changes so hopefully it just means AF is going to make her first appearance PP. Hopefully. Dear God please. [-O<

My pedi ok'd it for the heat rash on my LO's chest when he was sent home from daycare. He said as long as it wasn't more than the 1% version. However, I didn't put it anywhere that he would be able to get some into his mouth if he was chewing on a hand, arm, foot, etc.

Where are the mosquito bites?

She's got one on her forearm, one on her upper arm, and one on her forehead. Will probably leave the forearm one alone and maybe put on the other two.

So my BIL's best friend and I are facebook friends.Well about a year ago he moved to San Francisco and surely enough ended up moving back to our hometown. Before he moved he sold a lot of his furniture because him and his gf were moving in with his uncle. Well now that he's back he has no money because he didn't work, no furniture, and is back in his moms basement. He posted a status today asking on people's thoughts on him starting a gofundme account to raise money to help with moving costs and furnishing the 2 bdrm apartment that he is moving into on November 1st. He now has the gofundme set up and is wanting to raise $1500.

I'm dumbfounded. Oh and here's their gofundme message

Gofundme completely baffles me! At least DH family hasn't discovered them yet. SIL is going through a divorce right now and one of her 3 kids was taken away, causing her child support to decrease because she only has 2 of 3 kids now, he has the other. So she got FIL to give her $100 a month to help, MIL $100 and then called her brother (BIL, not DH) and asked if he'd give her $100 a month. Seriously? !? Borrowing a sum of money when you are in a tight spot is one thing, but asking for $100 a month for..forever?

ETA- she also smokes like a chimney and goes out to nice dinners monthly. BIL told her to quit smoking and then she'd have extra money.

My DD doesn't want me to nurse/rock her to sleep anymore. She was flailing and fussing on the boob so I laid her down with her paci. She rolled right over and went to sleep. I'm happy and sad at the same time :-/

I feel like a bad bumpie. I've been totally MIA and lurking. I've done like 45 home visits over the last 2 weeks at work and it's exhausting trying to plan them all around my pumping schedule!

@eme520 I'm a family service worker for our local Head Start. I have 60 preschoolers and their families on my caseload. :-) I love my job and generally love home visits too, just wish we had more time to do them.

Our cable provider just got rid of all the Viacom channels: the Nickelodeons, MTV, Comedy Central, and a few others. I want to get rid of cable so bad, but DH thinks paying $120+ a month for ESPN is worth it. Ugh.

I wish I could work a four day work week. I took Tuesday off, brought B to daycare and cleaned the house for 7 hours.

We have 6 month/fall pictures tomorrow. I'm super excited since her "school photos" weren't great and the cheapest package was $169.

@mommyofmac‌ I love the Ergo. There's a new one called the 360 that looks awesome.
@Teresa1896‌ I have had 6 home visits this week all squeezed into the time between dismissal from school and picking Blaire up at 5, so I feel your pain. Last night I did a quick drop off with her dad and did another from 6:30-7:30. It's been brutal for pumping. I've ended up engorged a few times this week and pumping and eating in the car sucks!
