Why can no one pronounce "chipotle" correctly? Is this is a symptom of where I live? Soooo many people say "chi-pol-tee." It drives me crazy!
It's not where you live.
Also, I thought ketchup wasn't MSPI because of the "natural flavors" = soy?
Maybe so. You can make your own ketchup really easily, though. Instead of using ketchup, you'd put crushed tomatoes, brown sugar, and cider vinegar and a little seasoning, then add the rest of your regular BBQ sauce ingredients. I actually like BBQ sauce made with a homemade ketchup base even better.
Yeah, I've made my own ketchup with your recipe Stoney. And this is going to sound really stupid. (Maybe I should wait and post this tomorrow for FFFC.) But if I don't make the bbq sauce using a bottle of ketchup, I don''t know what to bottle the sauce in. I always put it back in the ketchup bottle. If it's just in a tupperware, MH won't use it (bc he won't see it and think about it.)

LOL. You can buy plastic squeeze bottles at all kinds of places.
I don't know how to pronounce chipotle, nor that s-word that seems to be some kind of popular flavor right now -- sriracha?? I think I misspelled that. My favorite thing is to hear my very southern aunt say quesadillas - kay-suh-DILL-uhs.
I just ordered the BB Totally Tie Dye in snaps! Previously I could only find it in H&L. And I stocked up on CJs; yay for fluff mail!
Also, part of my Halloween costume is at the post office here in town, so I hope it's delivered today. I'm a little nervous about how it will fit in another month, but I always order so early when I shop off Etsy because you just never know...
I am really into the meaning of words and one of the "street smart" things that I just don't have is the ability to quickly figure out what people mean when they use the wrong word.

I'm usually good at that. I'm not good at not pointing it out to them. One time I had a friend who consistently used "in lieu of" to mean "because of." I didn't tell her the first few times I heard her do it, and the next thing I knew she'd been misusing the word for 7 years. Then it would just be awkward to tell her. To my knowledge, she still makes this error.

I only correct my H on stuff like that. I know he takes it well and appreciates it. I think it's hard to correct someone you don't know well without coming across as a know-it-all douche.
I used the saying "my work cut out for me" the wrong way for a long time. I thought it meant things would be easy. I am glad someone corrected me. But seriously if you had things already cut out for you, wouldn't that make things easier? I guess I just have too much common sense.
When I went to Target today, I purposefully browsed through the tops to try to find some decent casual shirts that would hide my muffin top and be easy to nurse in. I completely chickened out and bought a men's sweatshirt instead. I so want to be stylish and have a prissy hairdo, but I feel like I'm missing the "with it" gene. Or maybe I'm missing the girlie gene. FFTC - I'd give my eye teeth to have some of the boys' OshKosh outfits in my size.
I can't believe this has made it to 4 pages and I haven't even opened it til now lol. Hey @Mapleme this is for you. From your favorite fb group: "Detergent build-up is a myth. Residue is an entirely different thing."
I can't even believe you MK. Get it together.

My MIL says tor-Teel-ya for tortilla. Makes me laugh every time.
P walked for the 1st time 2 days ago. Yesterday, we had a day off for the Jewish holiday so P and I went to visit my friend and her kids. Her 8 month old is walking just as well as P. It's crazy to see how wide the range of normal is. We had a really good day, minus the part where her son tried to eat mine (no teeth yet, so he didn't hurt him). Actually, that was really funny, but P didn't enjoy being lunch.
My husband didn't sleep much last night. This morning he said he didn't know how he was going to get through the day. After one bad night. I just stared at him, my mouth hanging open.
Why do they say these things?! Mine blamed sleep deprivation for him dropping a flat panel this week. Thankfully he was joking so I didn't have to use my eye daggers.
