So..... Everyone thinks my sleepwalking baby theory is ridiculous?
I don't. I think it's perfectly possible. I was a sleepwalker. I once made a PB&J, took a bite, and went back to bed. Mmmmm, PB&J. But don't toddlers commonly have night terrors? Where they aren't actually awake, but will scream and cry. And you can't wake them up from it? Sounds like it could be that to me.

Chickypoo, I've checked the monitor at night to see dd sitting up in bed playing with her hands. I went to lay her down and she was sound asleep. Baby's totally sleep "walk".
SAK that is so interesting/amazing/scary to me that something that simple and hidden can have such an impact. Looking back were they eating a lot of things that contained dyes? I don't *think* M gets much at all because she doesn't eat much packaged food yet - but each day probably has a bite or two of something of ours that might - but even then we try to stay away from packaged food...crazy.
Yeah, I didn't think we had that much either which is why I shrugged it off every time I heard about it making a difference in kids. I mean, I make pretty much everything from scratch because of all of our food allergies anyway. But I was shocked by how much my kids still consumed want to actively started avoiding it. Most of it was from outside sources that I didn't realize added up so much over the days. A snack at church, a treat with grandpa, A cupcake at a birthday party, a lollipop from the bank… Just random places that it didn't seem like they had that much. But once we took it away was a lot. Plus all the crap like toothpaste, medicines, vitamins, mints, etc. it's hidden a ton of places I never would have guessed. Kinda like soy anyway, for us, the biggest difference is actually O's behavior and attitude. He had insane rage issues. Like unbelievable for a three-year-old. He was completely unreasonable and Went into crazy fits and there was no telling what was going to set him off. Since removing dyes he is like a completely different child. Quite a few people have commented to us on his change in demeanor over the last several months. I have several other friends and acquaintances who have had the same experience when they removed dye from their kids' diets. My next step is trying to determine if it's only certain dyes that set him off like yellow red or blue, or if it really is just everything.
I don't know. I just know it's working for us.
I was so ticked that red40 is in every single prenatal vitamin that the local stores carry. Is it really necessary for me to take a PINK prenatal vitamin??
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
Of course it is ITK. How else will you know that you are a female, and associate with the feminine gender. Duh. Pink vitamins are for girls, blue vitamins are for boys.

Oh goodness, the San Francisco Symphony? Don't I wish. I was never at that level, despite several conservatory degrees. I've played professionally with some regional orchestras on sub contracts, but not much bigger than that. And once my boyfriend (now husband) got a good job in SF, I stopped taking auditions elsewhere in the country, built a full teaching studio and settled in here.
I currently play with the California Pops Orchestra, mostly because I like them and they only require the dress rehearsal and the concert for the paid members and they have a concert about once a month. I can handle that kind of time commitment.
The jazz group I play with, Resonance, released a CD last summer. I spent a weekend in the recording studio when DS1 was only two months old and DH tagged along to take care of him. I ducked out to feed him in between takes. It was a really great experience. They're playing SFJazz in October, but I've sadly subbed that gig out since I knew I wouldn't be ready to make all the rehearsals around the birth of DS2. It's a bummer to miss the opportunity to play there.

Still no idea why my body hates me.
