@TJ1979 I recently discovered a new trick on the ipad. If you triple click the home button you can lock into an app. It also gives the option to lock out parts of the screen by circling them. So controls menus ect can't be accessed. You also have to enter a password to get out of the app. The thing I really like it it blocks ads from being clicked on.

woah. my mind might be blown by this.
Yeah this is an awesome feature. We use it to lock R into her flash card app.
I think the people next to me at the coffee shop are having an affair. Its distracting cuz I keep trying to listen and figure it out.
I once worked at a place behind the counter where the people sitting at the table in front of me were clearly on a blind date. It was seriously the most halting, painful conversation ever. They were not hitting it off. Meanwhile, I was standing about 6 feet away from them trying to look for things to do so it didn't seem like I was some weird spectator along for the ride. It was just the three of us in the room. The guy took off after about 15 minutes and the lady just sat there alone for awhile. I kind of wanted to give her a "Hey, there's plenty of fish in the sea" but I didn't want it to seem like I had been eavesdropping.
Last night we ate dinner in front of the tv. (Yup! FFTC) and the movie we had on has slow music. M started dancing quickly with his arms up in his high chair and I said "hey M, it's a slow jam. Slow dancing" and I kid you not he started moving his arms and bopping up and down super slowly.

@TJ1979 if you go into setting, -> general-> accessibility-> guided access
You have to turn it on and set a password. The password is just a four digit number you select. So use something you and DH will both know, like an anniversary.
@theultimatesak I am behind on laundry, so I put L in his first OS this morning, too! It was a Freetime, and it fit perfectly. I might have shed a tear.

I am loving this feature!
That's cute. You think we both know our anniversary.

L has caught N's cold and is super stuffy. This makes me wonder 2 things:
-Do babies ever mouth breathe?
-is there a trick to sleeping upright with a baby on one's chest if he won't sleep in the RNP?
Side note...I am so tired I legitimately feel tipsy. Fatigue is my new wine cooler. Haut dawg!
I'm so glad I let DW talk me into buying an old lady bed with adjustable base. I don't think I would ever sleep without it. I think I even got a whole 4 hours last night. M is almost too big to sleep on my chest now though, I don't know what to do when it doesn't work anymore
Lots of pillows? Or one of those wedge pillow things?
A woodpecker was pecking on my house today. First I opened up the window and told it to stop. Then I banged on the wall. I finally had to go outside and regulate. Yup. We live in the boonies now.
I'm really good at making soup, guys. I wish I could tell you how, but I have a gift. If deliciousness could cure a man cold, I would be golden right now.
Heavy Wheezing in a 1 year old-need to worry? He Has a Cough and runny nose. No fever and is acting/eating normal.
My only other kid who is a heavy Weezer has asthma and it means he needed meds immediately. In normal kids is wheezing okay unless it's accompanied by something else?
Does the wheezing sound like it's coming from mucous rattling around (up high). Or does it sound whistley or crackly coming from his lungs? If it's the latter then that's serious and should be checked out asap.
DD#1 has asthma. Neither DD#2 or DD#3 have been diagnosed w/ asthma but have both gotten sick enough that nebulizer treatments have been needed. That stuff can run in families. I would watch him very closely!

I'm so behind, but since @unaveragejane and @theultimatesak have put their littles in OS, I figured I should try one on N. A Flip fit without leg gaps, but even with the aplix extra overlapped, the waist wasn't tight and the rise was ridiculous. I'm going to consider N to be not quite OS yet. He's in small everything for now, and I've got plenty of adjustable NB covers so I don't really need OS yet anyway.
Boob update: I finally got a script for Diflucan today. It's not the dosage my LC recommended, but at this point I'm just glad I can finally start treatment. I'm so ready to get rid of the glass shards in nipples feeling.
@stringy813 I'm glad you like it. I was so excited when I stumbled on it. I feel like this is a feature that they should advertise, moms all over would insist on iPads.
I don't know if it will work on older iPads. I would think if you've updated your os it should be there. Check your settings. General. Accessibility. Guided access
There is no guided access under accessibility. There's a menu to choose what a triple click would do, but none of those are helpful. I don't think I can upgrade past iOS6 cuz apple is a jerk like that.

No, stringy, it was me that told you.
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
So, does this iPad thing not work on the older ones?
