Congratulations Mama! Your new baby is here and your board is ready to celebrate with you!
Maybe you've been with us since the beginning, maybe you joined part way through or maybe you're just finding us now. No matter when you found us - congratulations on your new baby!
This thread is for your birth announcement - just the quick facts and love it's.
Totally optional! So what does that mean exactly?
Here's an example of the information to share!
This image has been resized to fit in the page. Click to enlarge.
Once you've had the time (yikes!) to write your birth story, you can post a link to it here so your fellow board members (and fellow moms!) can read them when they get the chance. (Tip: you should be able to edit you post on here for a few weeks so you can add your birth story, but it's NBD if you add another post with just the link to your story either).
Your birth story is your own thread. You do not have to write one, but if you choose to, please only share what you feel comfortable having on the internet forever.
We can't wait to read all about how your precious new baby joined your family and joined the world!
Again- save the congrats comments for each Bumpie's individual thread. But Love Its welcome and appreciated!
Tesla was born on Saturday, September 13th, 2014 at 11:06pm. She was 6 pounds 6 ounces and 19.5 inches long. She was 36 weeks 6 days and 23:06 hours when she decided to make her debut. Just 54 minutes shy of being considered full term.
Kaiden Brandon was born on September 22nd, 2014 at 6:07am. He weighs 4.12 pounds and is 21.5 inches long. He was born at 35 weeks and 2 days gestational age. He is doing amazingly well, and his pediatrician told us he will go home with us so long as no issues develop!
Isla June was born September 22 at 37w5d. She is 7lb8oz, 20.5 in long, and was born at 3:31am. After an extremely long labor, both mom and baby are doing well.
My first born Thomas Gabriel came on September 21 at 5:27pm. Water broke at 37 weeks exactly and baby was born 5lbs 7 oz, 18 1/4 in long. He's doing great and passing all tests!
Dominic Morgan was born on September 24th after being induced due to elevated heart rate. He was 8lbs and 20 inches long. He's doing really well and loves to be snuggled!
Jack Ryan was born via whirlwind 6-hour labor in September 20th at 38w3d, weighing 7lbs 12oz and 20.5 inches long. We had no time for antibiotics so we earned an extra hospital stay to monitor for strep B issues, but we're home now and he's doing wonderfully. He's nearly back up to birth weight, nurses like a champ, and it feels like he's always been a part of our lives. I'm totally smitten.

My daughter Sophia was born 9-24 at 812 pm. She is 7 lb 9 oz and 20 in. After my water breaking at 5 am we were so happy to finally meet out little girl.
I dont know how to make a link. But hre is our quick story. At 39 weeks ecactly mom decided to go to her CrossFit workout and while on the rower my water broke. So on 9-27-2014 we headed to hospital and were admitted. I had a completely med free birth with a grade 4 tear to boot. So i landed myself in the OR after birth to get stitched up. But we are team Green no longer. On 9-27 we welcomed "CJ" Christopher James into the world at 7:56pm at 7lbs 8oz and 20 inches long! So in love!
Caleb Francisco Mendoza born September 28th at 2:58 pm weighing in at 7lbs 11oz and 18inches long. After a 28 hour induction last time with a failed epidural. This delievery was a breeze. Only 12 hours from start to finish and less than one hour of pushing. Now for recovery : ( I think recovery has been worse than labor & delievery
Team Green turned pink! Chloe Danielle arrived September 28 at 3:11am. She weighed 8lbs 1oz and was 21in long. After a 6 hour labor and rush to the birth center, we barely avoided a car delivery! Chloe arrived just 20min after we got there!
Everyone is doing great and we were able to head home within a few hours!
Henley June arrived via scheduled c-section at 38 weeks on 9/26! She weighed 6lbs 5.2oz and is 19 3/4" long! She has tons of beautiful dark brown hair!
At 39w4d gestation, Quinn Patrick arrived on 9/28 at 1:54pm after 33 hours of labor (5 of them spent pushing because he was sideways and has a head in the 90th percentile...) at 8lbs 7oz and 19.5in. He has his daddy's chin and mouth. I also almost killed my mother-in-law during labor, but I still love her.
Ashton was born September 30th via RCS at 12:54pm, weighing 6lbs 15oz and 20 inches long. He was supposed to be an October baby with a RCS on October 1st but I went into labor early morning on September 30th so he was born a day early. Birth story to follow shortly.
Our little guy was born at 39+5 on 10/3 via c-section. After my water broke we arrived at the hospital to discover he was breech - sitting cross-legged with his little butt in my pelvis!
Team green turned team pink 10/2 via c-section. She was 6 lb 7 oz and 19 1/2" long. My water broke Wednesday and after 20 hours of labor baby was OP and stuck on my pelvic bone. She was having decels into the 60's which we found out later was because her cord was wrapped around her shoulders. But she came out perfect and healthy. We are so in love!
Benjamin William, born October 3rd at 38w6d due to preeclampsia, after 2 1/2 hours of pushing. Six pounds five ounces and 19 inches, he is a tiny peanut!
Our sweet baby girl, Drew Wenona, arrived Sept. 24th at 7:16pm weighing 6lb 7oz and 18 1/2 in long. Almost had a c-section after water broke and arrived at hospital to discover she was breech. She was ready, though and made her entry toosh first. So blessed all went well!
Riker Eli was born 10/3 at 9:28 am weighing only 7lbs 5oz via 4th c-section. He looked as though he would be bigger than his sisters while still an inside baby but once he was out we found he was the smallest of all!! He's a lazy little boy who loves to eat and cuddle!!!

Absolutely in love with our 'big' family!
I'm also a proud Auntie to a crazy little girl, her brand new baby sister, a little man on his way in the next month, and a sweet little mister we will miss forever!!!
So excited to Welcome Pierce into our lives. He was born just shy of 37 weeks (at 36 weeks and 5 days, to be exact). This was a total surprise. There was no concern that he'd be early. The baby had other plans, it seems!
My water broke at 5am on Sept. 25, 2014 and we welcomed our little Pierce (whose gender was kept a surprise to me) at 11:11 am via C-section and tipping the scales at 6 Lbs. 9 Oz. and 17 inches long. He was Breech and turns out his head was stuck/ wedged under my ribs, thus why he never turned around to face "the door" and the necessity for a c-section. I was planning a vaginal birth all along. He's wonderful! 12 days old today and so amazed he's here with us. What a miracle and a blessing Love him so!! Mommy, baby and Daddy are all adjusting well and can't imagine our lives without him in it!
Greyson Micheal was born on October 7th at 6:28pm. 8lbs 4oz and 18.5 inches. Me and my husband are are over the moon about this new edition to our family. I can't wait to take him home and introduce him to his big sister. Congrats to all the other October moms. Wishing you all the best.
Team green turned team pink! Olivia Lea was born on 10/2 @ 4:23pm. I was exactly 37 weeks. She weighed 7lbs 3 oz. I was induced because my blood pressure began to go up and with my 2nd daughter I was severe pre-e at 36 weeks, so they decided to go ahead and get her our before my bp got any worse. My induction started at 1pm and my labor was a total of 3 1/2 hours with only 3 pushes she was out!
Amazing how different each birth can be. She is settling in and her two older sisters are just smitten with her.
