DH lost my only PW wetbag while out walking the dog and DS today. I think he overstuffed the stroller basket with groceries and the wetbag must have fallen out the other side. I think my Totsbots Sealife and a Simplex were in it.

Oh no I'm so sorry! Does this mean he owes you two new diapers and a wet bag?
Actually there was another wet bag inside of it along with my wipe container and a tube of Waxelene. Oh yeah I'm going to buy some new stuff. After I do my due diligence tomorrow.
SAK. I would pump as much as possible before then (are you sure you can't pump enough by then?) and prepare for lots of nursing when you get home. I wouldn't give milk that I knew would hurt his belly later. And I wouldn't do formula.
And make sure your mom (MIL?) know to feed him super slowly.
L has started going 3 hours bn feeds some in the daytime, but after midnight he wakes every hour and a half to eat. And it takes at least 30-45 minutes to get him changed, fed, burped, and back to sleep. Then today he decided he was up for the day at 5am. I feel like I'm doing something wrong.
ETA Autocorrect changed that to buried, and I just caught it! Ack!
Jane, maybe try feeding him more during they day. Like every 2 hours when possible.
That's what I've been thinking about trying. If he gets his calories in during the day, he might not need to wake as much at night, right? I totally get that he's still little and will wake often, but I didn't anticipate it getting worse instead if better.
On the plus side, DH has gotten up several nights to burp L when I was just too exhausted, and he hasn't complained about it.
I was so proud of myself... All 3 of us are up and dressed, I cooked breakfast, started the dishwasher, and was letting E watch Mickey on the iPad while I got dinner in the crockpot. When suddenly I realize... That's not Mickey I hear. She somehow got family guy! Not ok for a 2yo. Mommy fail.

P has been yelling at my boob all weekend. Is she annoyed that my boob is slower than a bottle?
Dear baby,
Screaming at my boob makes it really hard to relax enough for a good let down. This means no milk. Which means more screaming, which means more stress, which means no milk... And on and on in a vicious circle. Please stop being mad at my boob.
Thanks, TJ (aka mommy)

Dear Mommy TJ,
I apologize for the distress you are feeling. I intended no harm; I'm simply singing the anthem of my people.
Actually, now that I watch another episode, I'm annoyed. It has this terrible "father as a bumbling idiot, mother as a controlling b" dynamic that just isn't a good example of love and parenting for kids. Plus the know-it-all do-gooder kids who run the household. Ridiculous.

L has caught N's cold and is super stuffy. This makes me wonder 2 things: -Do babies ever mouth breathe? -is there a trick to sleeping upright with a baby on one's chest if he won't sleep in the RNP? Side note...I am so tired I legitimately feel tipsy. Fatigue is my new wine cooler. Haut dawg!

I prop myself up on 2 pillows on the couch (I Find that it is helpful to have the support of the back of the couch at least on one side.) And put a blanket or sheet over us both. But use my arms to kind of keep him "faux swaddled" then fold my hands together over His butt.
WTF is with my kid waking up with a poopy diaper? It has become a regular thing now, and its always really gross and gets out the prefold onto the extra inserts and cover and everything.
@stringy813 hugs. I hate that feeling of being ready to give up, but knowing that you can't.
@mrshudson618 - R went through a phase like that. I think she was waking up quietly, then pooping, then calling for us. Drove us crazy. Luckily it was just a phase.
Also, if your kid can talk in full sentences, take.the.paci.away.
Maybe this is my early UO, but I'm sitting in the waiting room at the pediatrician and this 2 1/2 (ish) yr old is talking with a paci in her mouth and it drives me crazy. So does the mom baby-taking to her.
