Here's a random: I seriously applaud families with two working parents. I don't know how you get your kids ready every day and do all the transitions between home and daycare. I am randomly working at my old job this weekend to fill in and DH and I have spent far too long trying to work out the logistics.
I am a native Texan, but not a native Houstonian. I don't think I have much accent, but maybe some.
Sooooo, does that mean hearing you say the words Oil and Foil are kind of funny? My Mom and Grandma are from Texas. They still get a bit of an accent when they say these words.
I put tuna in the mac and cheese tonight because I was secretly hoping I wouldn't have to share. Instead, I had to share AND listen to DH complain about the tuna. It's cool, though, because I ate 2/3 of the box and said it must have been a small box because it was the organic kind Win.

Why did he eat it if he was just going to complain about it?

Y'all. Mh just wiped E down with a baby wipe and told her it was a whore's bath. She came out laughing and clapping bc she got a horsey bath. Aren't kids adorable?

We call that a "hooker bath" in this family.
--- We just call it the regular Saturd'y night weekly wash up.

I regularly say I couldn't imagine getting us and M out of the house in the morning. It's enough work getting us out and having her stuff/food generally organized for a grandparent. But at least she can still be in her pjs and usually not fed when we leave. I would so be that parent dropping my kid off in pjs and throwing some clothes in a bag.
You get used to it. And routine helps a lot.
Plus, I don't send food for either of the kids now. I just make bottles and set up the diaper bags for the day (one backpack and one reusable grocery bag).
I eliminated dairy about a month ago thinking either A or I had a sensitivity, and I didn't think it made a huge difference, so I started incorporating it again. Small amounts of cheese and yogurt didn't seem to bother me or A. (Yay!) But after my pumpkin spice latte frappaccino yesterday, A had bad gas pains and my stomach was not in good shape that evening. So I'm officially ditching milk, and probably raw milk cheese, for a long long time. :-(
So project wean J off my right boob is proving to be successful. I woke up today and it wasn't even the slightest bit full. I didn't even feed him on that side until just now.
Maybe it's lactose intolerance rather than protein?
ETA that's what it sounds like to me with the gas issues
Yeah that's what I'm thinking. I never had any issues until I was pregnant with R. We've concluded that she had a mild lactose intolerance, and apparently A and I do now too. Pregnancy really screws a body up, yo!
I'm still eating cheese at our annual wine& cheese party, though. I'll have to find those lactaid pills you mentioned, MK!
I think the worst part @mapleme is no bloody mary's! I'm on a big bloody mary kick right now, so that would be tragic for me. Of course, with no soy I can't make the greatest of bloody mary's. But your hot sauces help.

I've been using the daikon (sp?) Hot Sauce in mine. I have to be careful with that stuff, it has a real kick.
If my GD test is not making me feel jittery, is that a bad sign? Last time I remember feeling super jittery and nauseous. This time I'm fine... Although incredibly worried now,
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
We are entering night #16 of M sleeping in his own room and bed. His sleeping is WORSE than night #1. He has been waking every 45-90 minutes the last few days!!!
I don't know how much longer I can do it. I just need him to sleeeeeep How do I get him to love a big stuffed bear and hug that instead of me when he wakes up in the MOTN?
And SAK, I realize that your sleep is even worse. And I'm sorry I'm a crybaby
TMI: Cue massive freakout ten minutes ago after wiping generous amounts of bright red blood after peeing. Apparently I have a cut, I don't know if I scratched myself or what. I'm super relieved it was nothing sinister. But JFC. My heart stopped when I saw it.

Have you considered a different storage place for your knife?
And meesh, I'm sorry Ms sleep is just getting worse I know you've tried all the things, but have you tried putting his bed in your room? I can't remember.
We haven't tried that. And I'm not sure I'm willing because of the tv in there. Mh can't sleep without it. So if the tv Is off for M, mh sleeps downstairs on the couch. Bedtime in this house is horrible, obviously

Microwave popcorn is gross.
Pumpkin spice candy corn in the fridge is awesome.
8 year old boys stink...literally. So do my 23.5 month old's feet.

ETA: and Maple, your Not Hot Sauce was delicious on homemade hash browns :-)
And in his room I have a ridiculously loud fan going. The same one we had in my room.
The first night in his bed was better than the last few nights
