I did correct someone who I guess was an admin when she said the temperature you washed at didn't matter. I guess that was argumentative.
Fluff Love & CD Dictatorship
ETA: I unfollowed that discussion on my swap group because a few people were arguing over whether the OP should join the CD Asylum or FL & CDS for better washing help. I needed to get out quickly.
What bugs me about it is that no matter the problem the solution is to strip and bleach. Maybe they will look at your wash routine if you press enough.
I've seen people who don't even have problems and are like "I'm going to strip!"
Mh prefers it when I strip when we don't have have problems.
I finally caved and joined the group, because I'm on vacation and I'm bored. There is a lady looking for Calgon even though she has soft water, and she wants it to strip because of mold. WTH?!!!
I saw the lady with the g diapers. I feel bad everyone keeps saying she must've just done it wrong because properly diluted bleach wouldn't do that. Not all dyes are equally colorfast, people.
Mama to a little girl born July 2011 and a little boy born April 2014!
I think someone said g diapers aren't polyester but cotton so if course it happened. Sadly I think her post was lost in the sea of blaming the person who bleached.
We gotta get our own FAQs and flowchart up and running.
Definitely! I have to say that's it's driving me nuts not knowing which bump names correspond to which real names. Which bumpie just placed a hot sauce order with me?
Eh, don't worry about it....just pretend they're all new friends.......so if you know them twice you get two friends......right.

I just think it's fascinating how groupthink can defy common sense and logic.
Isn't that how dictatorships happen? Isn't that how some of the most devastating events in history happen?
I almost died laughing when I saw a reference to Kool-Aid in response to a post today, where the OP was talking about how she got reprimanded in another group for referring someone to the FL&CDS group. pot - kettle - black
I'm just ehh about pie. I mean I will always eat pie. I just don't crave it or make them. Maybe this is an UO?
We have has pumpkin cookies and brownies with chocolate chip cookie batter dropped in this week! So I don't lack a sweet tooth. Oh and meesh's coffee cake made my mouth water just reading about it.

Yep, the original post on the other board was deleted because you're not allowed to promote other groups according to the whatever the equivalent of TB would be for a different site's TOS.
So those with experience with both.....who is worse in terms of advice: the original Compendium, the asylum, or these fluffy lovers (I refuse to call them cd scientists)
And the best pie is drunken raisin pie.....officially known as mocha chocolate raisin rum pie.

Other than cascade the advice id basically the same. I did not see the other groups recommend buckets of detergent so much. That part seems new. They all had the same self important admin thing going on.

I don't like pie. I will make exception for ice cream pies though. As long as they don't have a crust. And there's lots of good toppings on it. This is also commonly known as an ice cream sundae.
I do love the humor of this group.

Lol, I'm getting called out for PMing people with ammonia issues. I'm going to ignore it for now and see what happens.
ETA: They deleted my comment to the OP telling her that I PMed her, but left comments form 3 admins asking me why I PMed her. Um... ok... They said that "We prefer that knowledge is shared, not hoarded on this page."
Gee, I thought they were considered PMs because they were private. For all they know you were sending her your telephone number.

But seriously, we need to get our fb page up and ready to go.....I have a couple people on my local fb swap page that I want to refer to the IJL page to get them away from the Fluffy Lovers. (I have referred a couple to come here..... it's easier to refer fb users to a fb group.)

Re: *nasty warning* leaving this here.
I think groups where you're not allowed to disagree with admins are stupid.

I don't add sugar to mine, but I do lemon juice, water (or cider), and usually two kinds of apples. One is usually Granny Smith to add some tart.

You know what's really good? Cheesecake. And not the kind smothered in fruit. Good old fashion plain cheesecake.
I'm so hungry now.
