I took the survey and put in my current wash routine that I've been using for 2+ years. And no problems that soaking an ON diaper in the morning didn't fix. And according to their method I'm not using nearly enough detergent. It's too bad my one response won't be enough to skew their results.

I'm sure they put a lot of thought into that survey and think it's going to be the definitive word on washing cloth diapers. But because of how they're sampling it's basically going to be useless.

I find it hard to believe a family as budget conscious as them didn't cloth diaper.

We're talking like upwards of 30 grand in disposables. Oh the landfill.

I just keep checking in to see if there has been any news on those nasty diapers.  I suppose I could check the FB group since I joined it.  But I cannot stand reading that garbage.  I had to hide their stuff on my news feed because I couldn't stomach any more RLR/bleach advice.

Uhg. Someone in my swap group just ruined a batch of like-new BG 4s by "striping" them with bleach. I.e. soaking them in bleach for an hour. *sigh*

I just want to say that I don't think there's anything scientific about the dirty diaper challenge. I mean, it's not like there is a control diaper. Plus, using their overkill methods to get rid of stains will prove nothing.

One f the admins is in my bmb on fb and we just had a big throw down over their survey because she was talking about how robust the data was going to be. Pretty sure she wants me to diaf. I will not be pointing out the problems with the ddc.

I really hope the diapers get heavier each time they're washed because BUILD UP. But really a kitchen scale probably isn't sensitive enough.
