I have to stop reading their page. If I see RLR one more time I think I might barf! If I were playing a drinking game and drank every time I saw RLR...

I'd be on my ass. I haven't had one in a year. So one post would do me in.
I cannot believe this thread just stayed on track for nine pages. I was hoping for something really juicy, guys.
Are you kidding? That was such a rush! I got her to admit that detergent can build up! The only thing that would have been better would be if I could have gotten her to admit that that's what she said.
LOL. I probably would have enjoyed it more if I joined the fb group.
You all made me consider signing up for Facebook. But then I remembered that drama and lies were the reason I left. That page is certainly drama an cd science lies.
I tried to do that but for some reason it wouldn't let me so I said F that and left the group.....so I missed the excitement there yesterday cause no way no how was I going to ask to join again.

Uhg, someone posted a leaking issue to the swap fb group I'm in and there was several responses of "you need to use more detergent" and then someone else added, "you'll need to strip your diapers, if you aren't using enough detergent you will get build up".
How is that logically possible? How can someone type that much conflicting information?
I tried to give some straightforward, "did you do enough prep washes" thing, but I can't take on the "add more detergent" people.
That's the really annoying thing is they invade every other cd group with their nonsense. They have one lady using a cap and a half of detergent.
Yes, everyone that posts an issue to our swap group is told to join this CD science group. Good to know though; I will NEVER buy diapers from this swap and inherit insane bleach soaked and Liquid Gain washed diapers. They are welcome to buy mine though
And they claim anything left behind is washed out next time. So while there is residue it doesn't actually build up over time. Never mind that you're putting that stuff on your kids butt.
Mama to a little girl born July 2011 and a little boy born April 2014!

So it's never really washed out as it would be an infinite cycle.
People always suggest this too in my fb groups. I roll my eyes. But I use tide and bleach too so I'm just as bad.
I also have a hard time with the folks that claim there is still visible poop on their diapers after running the pre-wash/rinse cycle. Ummm, if there is still poop on the diapers at that point, you don't have an issue with your wash routine, you have an issue that cannot be solved by adding more detergent.

Ewwww. People don't get the poop off before putting the diapers in the washer???
They told one person to use TWO FULL CUPS of detergent this morning. Another woman was using honest pods and they told her she needed to use at least four!!! Meanwhile this lady was using one and wasn't having any issues. These people are wasting so much money!!

I didn't question to verify, but I think the person was referring to nb poop. Or at least I hope she was.

What bugs me about it is that no matter the problem the solution is to strip and bleach. Maybe they will look at your wash routine if you press enough.
I've seen people who don't even have problems and are like "I'm going to strip!"
Re: *nasty warning* leaving this here.
They couldn't handle an intelligent argument.
And what was your final comment?

It's easy to stay on track when the topic is as juicy and entertaining as this topic is.

Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.

Haha a naughty note.

Well, if asking them to clarify what they said is arguing, out right correcting them is definitely being argumentative. Keep it up.
