Omg! This must be the night for our July 20th gals - mine slept from 9-4! Yay!
And i'm so full that she only took one side... to pump or not to pump. That is the question...
Yay for all of us! My LO just got up for the first time tonight i feel like a million bucks i decided to just hand express a little into the washcloth i keep next to my bed for motn feedings (G can be messy sometimes)
Aaaaaand it's now going on 1.5 hours to get her back to sleep

Oh no, hopefully she'll pass out soon. G was up for about 30 minutes but i snuggled him in my bed and he fell asleep and is back in his crib with his white noise to stay asleep because it seems no matter what he always is up a little after i put him down, but the white noise is like magic lol maybe try it if you haven't?
@MSUDucks seriously though! No need to worry about arm work outs...but my little fatty is going to kill me with his appetite. I can't wait until he's old enough to have cereal in his bottle!
I just got a 3 and a half hour stretch! Holy wow! That's a new record! I woke up and my boobs were running like faucets and little dude basically attacked them he but I got some sleep! Woo hoo! Maybe he'll do it again!
Put my son down for bed at 8 and he didn't wake up until 1:30! He woke up hungry and went back to sleep at 1:50! Give me another long stretch of sleep baby!!!
DS won't stop crying nothing i do is helping and he won't eat he roots around and then as soon as i offer it he flips out even more. This has been an all day thing and now night.
Idk what to do anymore i want to cry or scream. I just need a break ~X(
Thank you @babybell22 the only time ive gotten him to eat a normal amount is around 11pm and finally just now but both with bottles which is a bit discouraging, but i guess its good seeing he finally ate, just sucks he doesn't want me for some reason. Hopefully it gets better tomorrow, or soon.
Crap! DS is sick again. GDI I do not want to spend 2 weeks trying to seperate him from DD again. She's sleeping nicely, he's been up all night miserable. wtf universe!
This middle of the night gas is getting so old. Gas drops aren't helping. Colic Calm isn't helping. He's burping ok each feeding. What else can I do? I'm flipping exhausted! I'm about to try giving up dairy to see if it helps. Ugh.
Have you tried gripe water? It helped my LO almost instantly.
Yep, we've been trying gripe water and gas drops. Currently investigating possible lip tie and/or tongue tie. I am pretty sure he has a lip tie but I can't seem to get a good look under his tongue. Going to bring it up at his checkup next week. Poor little guy. We are both so tired.
@2lacyblue i have before but didn't even think of that last night, i think i was too drained but ill have to keep that in mind if we have a repeat tonight, god i hope not.. thanks
DD was super fussy last night and it took her an hour and a half to fall asleep and then she slept for a 7 hour stretch. Woke up and ate for like 13 minutes and passes back out and has now slept for 3 1/2 hours and is still asleep. I tried to wake her up an hour ago to eat because my right boob was leaking it was so full (I never leak), but she wouldn't have any of it and just stayed asleep as I moved her around. So she's now only eaten once in like 12 hours. I guess she needs her sleep, but this is so not normal that it almost makes me worry! I guess I should just take the extra sleep while I can get it!
My trip to the ER tonight messed up G's schedule he just now fell asleep, after being up for hours, when normally he's just getting up for his first feeding. Over tired baby who's been cluster feeding all day.. i hope it's not going to be a night like I'm thinking it'll turn out to be
Just stress-baked six dozen cookies. Because baby girl isn't getting better. And because someone's gotta thank our NICU nurses for working a holiday weekend.
So I think today marked the start of the 6 week growth spurt. LO barely napped at all because she wanted to eat every 90 minutes.
I'm actually happy to be getting to this point, BUT it doesn't bode well for sleep tonight. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the bottle my.mom is giving her right now holds her over at least a little while...

I must've missed a post, I'm so sorry to hear your little girl is sick. I hope she gets better soon!!
DS had been going 5-6hrs every night. Tonight we did his bedtime routine and got him to sleep and then when out while my mom and grandma stayed with him. He woke up once while we were gone and when we got home he was up again, my mom says she was checking on him and saw he was awake so she took him out of his crib. Whyyyyyy!? If he wasn't crying there's a good chance he would've just fallen back asleep on his own. I told her she would hear him through the monitor and there was no need to go in his room. Now he's awake, been fed and changed and is not going back to sleep. Here's hoping tonight isn't completely awful!
Lo slept for 4 hours! Second night in a row! But I still woke up after 2.5 hours with my breasts totally engorged and leaKing and had to pump some. How can I retrain my body so that I can get the 4 hours if sleep too?
2. Finally get her to sleep for good at a little after 9pm.
3. My mother (who is sleeping over) comes into my room and says that she got scared because she didn't hear the baby. She went to check on her and MOVED HER because her feet had moved a little between the slats. I asked her what time it was and she said 4am.
4. The baby wakes up - my mother woke the baby up...grrrrrrr...
5. Feed baby and she falls asleep instantly, but is now restless because I couldn't get the last bubble out. FFS.
I could possibly have had a sleeping through the night situation, but since my mother can't leave well enough alone, I've now been up for an hour and i have a restless baby who won't burp.
Bright side - i just slept from 10:30 - 4am.
Could it have been 5am? The world will never know...
I know it's not night time right now but I had to share that LO slept from 9-3:45am then again till 6:45 and up about 8 am!! Would be been a super great night if DS 1 wasn't sick and hadn't woken up twice before mid night and twice from 4-6am...
After our first road trip (which was rough to say the least) and mama taking a trip to the ER for kidney stones, LO slept for 8 hours straight two nights in a row!!!! Praise the Lord.
This just happened:
1. Baby eats ALL DAY. Poor kid barely naps.
2. Finally get her to sleep for good at a little after 9pm.

After you fed her I would have handed her back to your mom and said, "You wake her, you take her!" How frustrating!

Ugh... I hope you feel better.

It's 10pm and dd is in her cradle wide awake trying to break out of her Swaddleme. Haha good luck child you aren't strong enough yet. Hoping she gets tired soon so we can sleep.
