I think all I have to offer is Whataburger ketchup... and that's not even exclusive to Texas!
Dude my friends from Austin (moved to Boston) would pay you to send them something from whataburger.
They sell bottles of ketchup, mustard and now their dipping sauces at HEB. I would gladly send some to you to pass along since I can commiserate with their Whataburger withdrawals!
Does WAB have their own ketchup?
Yes, the best ketchup you'll ever taste in your life.

  • I'm not sure there's anything exciting I can send from Columbus - corn maybe? Or Buckeyes? (The candy or the football fanatics - both are in plentiful supply right now...)

Can someone from the Rockies get me and send me some fat tire?

Where are you that you can't get Fat Tire?
There are loads of places where you can't get Fat Tire. Pretty much anywhere along the East Coast. My BF's husband used to load their car trunk up with cases of it when they'd visit TX; no Fat Tire in GA.

From where? We moved here last November. If you are referring to NC, then yes we got orders here. If you are referring to FL, then I was just visiting for two months while DH was gone :)

Pretty sure we have fat tire. I'm just happy we have Shiner Bock. Hello Ruby redbird!

  • I don't really think there is much of interest to anyone that is unique to here

MA. I've seen it on tap here once. Other than that I have it on the rare occasion I am west of the Mississippi.
I'm not sure why I thought you were in Los Angeles. Target has several of their beers here. Not many places have it in tap, only at Chili's that I can think of. I'm moving to the East Coast before the end if the year. It hadn't crossed my mind that I might not be able to get my favorite beer. F*** I might need to stock up.

Can you get yuengling everywhere? Edit:terrible spelling
I couldn't when I lived in NM but could in FL, TN and NC.

Which reminds me I have some in the fridge waiting for me.

  • Hmm - trying to think of things we have here that are unique.

We've got Graeter's Ice Cream (yummy), Skyline Chili (although I'm not a fan of chili with cinnamon in it) , and Glier's Goetta (never tasted this and have no desire to but apparently people love it because it has its own festival).

I forgot - we have Jeni's Ice Cream (more artsy than Graeter's)! All this beer talk combined with your Cinci stuff makes me want to go to the Hoffbrauhas now...

Here in Portland we have ALL THE BEER. It's what we are known for, that and food. So it's pretty much a magical kingdom.
I really want to go there. Your pics kill me.

  • Not only does our target sell beer, but all of the supermarkets sell hard liquor and have slot machines. I honestly never notice the slot machines until a visitor points them out

  • I can't compete with alcohol, but here in Seattle we have all the coffee :)
  • @AprilMay9‌ yes they have beer. Their hard liquor and wine selection is nothing to scoff at either. Our even has a small craft beer section: Firestone, lagunitas, Stone, and others.

California was recently voted #2 for beer brewing in the US. No surprise Oregon was #1!
  • Scored a Marie print Flip cover, at regular retail price even. Woot. Now if only they'd do a second run of some of the others...

    What does Marie look like?
  • How did you manage that @jelly? I really wanted Spence, but refuse to pay over retail.

  • Never heard of harpoon. We have Dogfishhead and San Adams. Don't know what Yeeuking is
  • I'd love to participate except I can't think of anything we have down here that everywhere else doesn't have.  All we have is Shark Tooth Capital of the World, so lots of shark teeth..lots of old people and Alligators.

What if I made an Elfster thing and then you had to pm me for the link. I just don't know how to share that responsibility because I don't want anyone thinking I'm being all aviola-ish about the gate
You're wearing a Mickey Mouse hat right now aren't you?!
    Caught me!
Aware that there I'm behind (holiday weekend starting early?) but L-O-effing-L.
  • Do other people get Pyramid or Mac & Jacks beer? Some of my faves and brewed locally.

Remember when your water broke? Weirdest. Feeling. Ever!
Never broke for me - all the way to a 10 and then suprise breech! I'm still kinda sad I missed the experience...

Edit: I should clarify, they discovered he was breech when I was about a 6-7, and I was a 10 by the time I was getting prepped for the section...

  • Yuengling was always insta-hangover beer for me when I lived in PA.  Never understood the appeal other than it was not Bud?

I would probably like it now since my days of drinking the high octane shit like barleywine are over and I prefer something lighter.
  • Do other people get Pyramid or Mac & Jacks beer? Some of my faves and brewed locally.

I have seen pyramid but never had it. No jack Mac here
