  Life without baby wearing is miserable. Tying the moby takes FOREVER with a screaming baby and toddler, or impossible if the toddler is attempting to also wrap herself on it. Back and neck pain suck ass.

  Effing Sesame Street. My toddler's favorite two characters are Elmo and Cookie Monster. Elmo always talks in third person and Cookie Monster always says "me" instead of "I". What's the point in having an educational show be grammatically incorrect?

  Oh hey RTT! I'm so brutal at jumping on the bump these days. Hope everyone here is enjoying mommy hood now that we're roughly 5 months in! Our babies are almost half a year old...
  We've been busy. Bought a house (yay!) and just listed to sell our current place. I started a home business (yay again!) and have made a ton of mommy friends in my area We moved princess from her bassinet to her crib in her room full time last month. And get this... Penny is registered for music class. She's in a class. LOL I laugh just thinking about it. I have a kid in a class.
  And I'll just leave this here. She drinks water from a big girl cup lol

  @RedDawnsRevenge Yes she stocks new diapers on thursdays and they sell out in literally seconds. You can find fabric you like and create customs in groups of 8 or less. I am having a Harley Davidson diaper made.... I'm lucky that Penny is my first and I discovered these diapers as I was building my stash so I only have like 20 of them and then Pens newborn diapers that she still fits into but will be packed up soon.

  DH and I live by a certain code, if one of spouse knows you can usually bet the other knows, but we don't abuse this and we keep what we "shouldn't" know to ourselves. FIL put you in a very awkward position and I'm sorry you have to make this decision. It it were me, I would tell DH what is going on and also let him know that his mom is just waiting for the right time to let him know herself....and also explain that FIL just needed someone to talk to and you were the only one that he felt he could.

  My gym has such comfortable couches right by the snack bar, I'm really tempted to lay down and take a nap. How much would that be frowned upon? I've got 45 more minutes until I have to get my kids...and all I've done is bump and read magazines.

If I might make a suggestion DH and I have started a "like" notebook where we write one thing we like about each other every day.   All the talk about the cleanliness of our homes has me thinking "screw the house for a little bit" I usually spend my off days cleaning everything but the points you guys brought up are very valid. My son deserves to spend time with me and play with me. Not watch me clean all day. So today, since I'm off I'm playing with my son and enjoying his time.

  You reminded me of my FFFC - I couldn't even open that thread. I have constant guilt about the house not being clean enough, and constant guilt about not doing enough with the boys. I just can't even.

  @serlena that is a great idea and I might just have to start something like that too. We aren't having any issues right now but there is a bit of a disconnect because we are so busy.

  We all have that I'm sure. I feel bad about moving in to a new house and it already being messy. But LO loves going on long walks and it's good for me too, and I only have a teeny amount of time with the other two after school before they go to some kind of practice, so I try to make that time all matter. There isn't a day that I don't feel like I've failed at something. But where on earth are we getting this idea that anyone can do it all because we tell each other every day that we can't.   I like this suggestion - maybe I'll propose it to my DH too. We've been having a rough go of things too. I feel like I'm always on DH's case for things he does that we agreed he needed to stop doing once we had kids, and he doesn't get to hear about what I do like about him.

  I think you're me! If I've spent too much of my day doing one of those things I feel guilty about not doing enough of the other.

  @dani+california‌ we have aero bars at the shop down the street. They're made by Hersey and they suck. The ones DH brought back with him from deployment were better. Ever had a Cherry Mash? Big Hunk? Flick's (made here in the valley!)?
