@frecklesinside I had to wait two years for hubs to build me a desktop. I've been lugging around my junior year laptop for ages, like over 8 years we're talking. I hope you can back up everything before it dies completely and can find a cheapo replacement in the meantime. Major pain, I know, not to have the computer you want/are used to having.

@Cinderella021714‌ that's definitely not legal, like Wendy says I would see if fmla protects him, if not file for unemployment until he can find something. (I'm in CA so we have great unemployment, I don't know where you are but it's worth checking into, it will cover for wrongfully terminated and at least it's something until he finds a new job) I'm so sorry you guys are going through this! Sending good vibes to you that he finds something very quick!

Second speech therapy appointment completed. So hard to try to get my son to participate in the activities we are supposed to work on and not just let him have his way
I really hate upsetting him, even though I know it is probably better for him in the long run. The therapist is bringing an autism specialist to observe my son at the next appointment.

He's such a hard worker with anything he does and always gets taken advantage of. His boss was always at the office never actually witnessing anything while SO was out on jobs working hard and minding his own business. One of the new guys who would fuck up and blame it on him just a got a raise last week too!! It's bullshit. God I could punch somebody right now..

I don't care either way.... Glad DH is coming since I didn't invite him to my last apt and he didn't get to see there were 2 buns in the oven.

My random is actually a mini-freak-out that I had this morning. I went to the dentist for a cleaning. I figured I might have a cavity because I noticed something weird on my tooth last week. Sure enough, tiny cavity. I talked with the dentist about how I'm pregnant and whether filling the cavity was still safe. He said it was no problem. He also said that Novocaine would be safe if I wanted it. He said I could wait until 2nd tri if that made me feel more comfortable. I'm 11.5 weeks, so I decided to just get it over with today. We started off without the Novocaine, but I couldn't handle it, so he gave me some. It was seriously a small cavity and took 10-15 mins fix. But then I got home and started having the "Oh shit, what did I do? I didn't even research this before doing it!" guilt. I called my friend who is a dentist and she assured me that local anesthetic is fine during pregnancy. PHEW!!!! I was all, "yeah, I went through labor, let me try it without novocaine." Fuck that shit.

I think that way too when it comes to pain: "oh I had my son with no meds, I don't need anything for :insert pain:" unless it's something like that or like how my scoliosis is acting up and causing spasms. Sometimes we just need to give in to help. I'm glad you got reassurance on the Novacain. I think I have a cavity too so I'm nervous for the procedure and glad that is approved during pregnancy!

Oh man! Your sister must have nerves of steal. The dentist was like, "OK I'll go slow. Raise your hand if you want me to stop." I think I lasted a minute. That shit hurt!!
