    It's hotter than balls where I live and I've been regularly inviting friends over all summer to swim at our apartment's pool.
    I have one of my favorite friends coming over to swim in an hour or so, but this other chick (who I find particularly obnoxious) invited herself along.
    A has been crying since he got up 45 min ago (he's still tired, but refuses to go back to sleep) and I'm not sure I can handle the obnoxious one today. And she's extra annoying to A. She puts her face right in his face, pats him like a dog, and talks in that stupid baby voice. Oh and she is the one who signed up to bring us a meal after A was born and then called an hour before she was supposed to come to tell us she couldn't do it- and wouldn't get off the phone despite A screaming in the background.

    I'd cancel, but I know she would want to reschedule.

    I'm not excited for today.

    Bonus, usually quinoa gets better the longer it sits. I make a big batch to use in jar salads and layer beans, dressing, chopped onion, chopped pepper, cucumber and tomato with quinoa and a little bit of lettuce on top.     I'm impatiently awaiting an email from Chicco. Ugh. I hate waiting! Anyone else have the liteway plus stroller and have issues with the seat back attaching to the frame?

    I'm watching Property Brothers (obviously) and they have a set of identical twin sisters as the buyers. It's adorable. 

    Also- I just ate an entire tub of roasted garlic hummus and veggies for lunch. I have no regrets. 

    So far, no nap on the horizon. LO is in her crib watching the mobile and she's staying in there until she cries because I need a break from baby barnicle.

    Well, I learned my lesson.  Car washes are too noisy and scare DS.  Poor guy.

    I turned 25 this past may I had a 7 week old baby,my boobs hurt, my clothes didn't fit, and I was sleep deprived. I got a keurig because I complained so much at how tired I was aaaand I had to go back to work 2 days before my birthday because bed rest took up my fmla. Not the best birthday ever!

    @RedDawnsRevenge‌ so sorry about the walking home I can't imagine your a super mommy!

    I just made stuffed peppers last week, but donthave the exact recipe. Basically mix cooked quinoa, black beans, onions and tomatoes together. It was yummy!
