Too bad Swerb's off the grid this week. I think she would enjoy the RTT today.
Eta: just cuz of the randoms..
Going to tag her so she can read the last 5 pages (in case she misses too much to catch up)! @swerbtastic3351
I'm just going to say this here since I never remember UOs or FFFCs: I don't get the appeal of doing drugs. Dumbing yourself down temporarily just for a funny story to tell later, potentially putting yourself in harm's way or getting caught and doing jail time or getting a crazy expensive ticket you have to pay? No thanks. I also may be a little sensitive to this because my brother told me today that he and his sister have done coke, and my sister has a baby. YOU DON'T DO DRUGS IF YOU HAVE A BABY TO TAKE CARE OF. X(

Totally agree

I don't think anyone here is currently a regular on doing hard drugs. Marijuana is a completely different ballpark than coke.
This.. Also I don't think anyone is riding the refer train with a 3 month old.. He makes me tired and hungry as it is.
Just for clarification, I completely understood that these were all distant memories that everyone was reminiscing about. My last statement was not directed at anyone here, but just a declaration of my frustration with my siblings.

My 11 year old sister is sleeping over so spend one on one time with DS. Being from a big family every time I see her there is also 5 other people wanting to hold him. This means I can clean and work in peace! And still have DS close! And have extra hands when I get ready to work for a day in the morning! And have an excuse for ice cream and pizza! It's a glorious day!!!!!!
I love having my 12 year old niece over one on one for the exact same reasons! She loves Amelia and loves being babysitter and I hate that she never gets to spend time with her when everyone else is trying to pass her around. She is such a great help and so much fun to have over for a pizza and movie night!
Why must DS kick off his blanket every night? He is always freezing during the MOTN feeding. The sleep sacks make him too hot. No winning.
My baby is like a hot pocket either ice cold or boiling lava hot.
Have you tired lighter weight sleep sacks? I use the A&A sleep sacks, they are nice and light like the swaddle blankets.

Dh is home alone with the kids today so I didn't have the mad rush of trying to help him get them ready before I left for work. So I didn't feed the baby or say goodbye to my big girl. :-( they're both going to wake up and be like, WTF?!?

Small boy refused to go to bed last night . Rocked him and did whole bedtime routine and he was just smiling away and not having it. Ending up putting him in my bed with me until he fell asleep and transferred him to his crib 3::30 he woke and I fed him 5;45 he woke and I fed him 7:30 slept for 20 mins 8:00 I fed him This is so strange for my boy but I guess he has his own agenda and he does have a cold
I think I'm going to just have to bedshare entirely. Also, bacon makes zombie-me happy. I would love for DS to go back to only waking up six times a night, hahaha.
@hlm184 I feel bad for complaining now . Just so used to my good sleeper
Does your LO always get up that often?
He was a great sleeper. Then we hit three months and he started getting up five or six times. Then this past week we've hit the 4 month regression hard and he's up at least every hour.

My little sister is having surgery today to fix her deviated septum. The surgery place is a hour away and both my parents are going with her. They have to leave at 1130 and who knows when they will be back. When my DH had this surgery it was about a 5 hour event between pre op and him being good enough to go home. So I asked my mom if I could leave my kids at home and run to goodwill by myself this morning. She said no, she is going to feel trapped at the surgery center so she needs to go out shopping this morning. I can go out tonight after they get home and I could always load the boys up and go to the gym if I needed a break. The point was I wanted to shop! Try on clothes! Have relaxation! Seriously, sitting in a chair in a waiting room is that rough? Why am I even here?
Ok, am I the only one with a happy baby who rarely cries and sleeps really well? I'm starting to think there's something wrong with her based on what you are all saying! Maybe she'll go through a nightmare phase later but I'm loving this age. She still gets up at night but she's all smiles and goes right back down.

Both of my kiddos (even DD who was a bad sleeper and woke up all.night.long. for-ev-verrrrrr) were/are pretty happy in the middle of the night. They just eat and go back to bed. On the rare occasion DS is up to party, he's happy about it.
Mark Paul Gosselar is on Kelly and Michael ( never mind the fact that Kelly ripa is not on there is some other lady ) and I still can't get used to him with dark hair . I feel like he needs to have the bleached zack Morris hair do
Havent been around in about a week, so sad I missed a cow conversation but glad you guys thought of me! Btw, a really good cow can give about 80 lbs of milk per milking. That's about 9 gallons I think. Other cow folk correct me if I'm wrong.
I also love looking at the siggys when I don't know what the challenge is and trying to guess! Sorry I can't catch up on the thousands of posts I missed, hope all is well!

I'm wracking my brain but a big number for us is about 27kilos (60lbs). If your cows milk 80 that's crazypants! I love doing the milk tests to see how much each cow gives, and to guess who'll give the most lol.

Our good cows usually give around 60 a milking (twice a day, not three time). Our best cows reach 70 for a while. I was riding along with a vet at a different local farm and saw they had an "Employee of the Month" Plaque with a cow and her number on it saying she gave over 160 lbs a day! I agree that it was nuts, because it wasn't a fluke either, it was a consistent thing!

The hair pulling while nursing is out of control. I don't remember my son doing this. Nursing necklace from overpriced etsy store purchased and on its way.
Same here -- and if it's in a ponytail or bun, he goes for the necklace I always wear. I was a boutique the other day and was going to buy some ChewBeads....they were like $50!!! For some silicone? I'm in the wrong business.
